And the crap they put out now...
67 and still lite up and kick back and enjoy Traffic.
I was seventeen and my future husband (of 50 years now) seduced me to this song... it still works.
Stevie looks so unbelievably young, were we ever that young? What happened to the generation that wasn't supposed to grow old? We lived through the best music era in history! I hate rap! No music because there's no musical instruments!
If you see something that looks like a star And it's shooting up out of the ground And your head is spinning from a loud guitar And you just can't escape from the sound Don't worry it's alright, it'll happen to you We were children once, playing with toys And that thing that you're hearing is only the sound of The low spark of high-heeled boys The percentage you're paying is too high priced While you're living beyond all your means And the man in the suit has just bought a new car From the profit he's made on your dreams But today you just read that the man was shot dead By a gun that didn't make any noise But it wasn't the bullet that laid him to rest, was The low spark of high-heeled boys If you had just a minute to breathe And they granted you one final wish Would you ask for something like another chance Or something sim'lar as this Don't worry too much It'll happen to you As sure as your sorrows are joys And the thing that disturbs you is only the sound of The low spark of high-heeled boys The percentage you're paying is too high priced While you're living beyond all your means And the man in the suit has just bought a new car From the profit he's made on your dreams But today you just read that the man was shot dead By a gun that didn't make any noise But it wasn't the bullet that laid him to rest, was The low spark of high-heeled boys (high heeled boys) If I gave you everything that I owned And asked for nothing in return Would you do the same for me as I would for you Or take me for a ride And strip me of everything, including my pride But spirit is something that no one can destroy And the sound that I'm hearing is only the sound of The low spark of high-heeled boys (heeled boys)

I was listening to jazz before I even realized I liked it. At this point I would like to submit into evidence that the best rock has to offer is heavily infused with jazz.

Classic! 80’s. Canada Welcomes you!!
The music that shaped so much! I am feeling that energy again (although I keep this music top of mind), like the 60’s.
In 72 I spent almost every weekend in San Francisco! I remember this song going through my head as I walked back to downtown from Winterland a long walk in the cool fog ! I can almost feel the mist on my face ever time I hear it! I am blessed!
I'm 74 and my generation was fortunate to listen to wonderful music before the corporate world got a hold of it.
He keeps his body perfect .

66 here too Stuart. I first heard this as a freshman in high school. Way different direction musically than what I was used to at that time. Takes you different places. Still brings those same feelings after all these years. I got turned on to Spirit, Frank, Humble Pie and Steve Marriott, and so many others that are still with me at that time.
I was 3 years old when this came out . lol omg awesome
