Always great videos man.
43x with my 15 rd psa mags all day for carry. My g19 is my bed side fun with a 33 rd mag sticking out the bottom of it 💯
literally bought a colt python airsoft just bc of rick 😂😂 What a beautiful and powerful gun
1911 is still pretty good and still relevant. In addition it reminds me of the model used in Call of Duty Zombies.
You should buy and review my favorite pistols if you can: Beretta 92XI SAO Tactical HK USP 45 Tactical I love the stainless finish on the 1911
Still waiting on your video of you "killing" a Hellcat. Won't happen. You just spin your tires. Lol!
Just FYI In 2013 an elephant was killed by multiple shots from a 22lr.
Wow
I have the 1st gen g2. I've put over 1000 rounds through it with no hiccups. In fact I've ran the shittiest ammo ever made through it, no problem. My glock 19 had a few stovepipes running that same crappy ammo. It's a reliable gun for sure. I'm rockin a glock19x right now but I'll never get rid of the ole g2c. Definitely recommend it for anyone.
I also have a 19x has it ever gave you a hiccup?
@@TerryBenton got it last week. I've ran 400 rounds through it. No issues. Love it!
@jbird73 oh OK. I was wondering why you stop carrying the g2. You are smart enough to know that you must run a carry gun and it be 100 percent reliable. Just like the brakes on your car. 400 rds is good. I would never trust your life with the g19 that you said had malfunctions. I would trust the g19x that you have ran 400 rds through. Thanks again. I am glad you ha e 2 reliable Pistols you are happy with. Use the G19 as a range gun.
Yeah I got rid of that glock 19. It was just really bad ammo though.
@@jbird73 awesome man. Good deal
My 2022 S&W 629 Classic has a SA trigger pull of 5.5 lbs, and my 2024 Anaconda has a SA trigger pull of 6 lbs. My trigger pull gauge only goes to 8 pounds, and the DA of both guns is well beyond that.
That suprises me about the anaconda. I have shown the trigger pull guage on video. Thr Smith does not suprise me. They usually require a little help
Had to sell my 1978 Marlin 336 back in the '80s when times were tough between jobs. I just bought it back (same year) through a gun broker auction. Paid four times as much as what I paid originally, but I'm happy.
As long as you are happy. Yeah you probably sold it for about $200 in thr 1980s. Lol. Wish it was still like that. Thanks for watching
Oh yeah 👌 😍 💯
Thank you
The shot placement is gonna be aweful compared to the 9mm. If you miss all your shots because you have a gun the size of a toy that shoots 45 acp its not gonna be too effective 😂 buffalo bore bear defense 9mm ammo. Look it up. Much more effective then a 45 acp.
Learn how to shoot like me
Glad I was able to get the revolvers that I have. Both are S&W wheelguns. Both are practical revolvers, one is a .38-spl and a .357-mag caliber.
I absolutely am a big fan of 357 revolvers. They are so versatile because you can also.shoot 38spl in them. Thank you for watching
Ofc it’s a boomer in the video lmao. 10mm exists for a reason, the future is now old man
How old am I
I feel bad for cops having to carry 9mm. Its safer with crossfire and overpenetration, but that must be scary getting in a gunfight with someone with an AK-47
That is scary
This is a fudd
What exactly are you?
I own and like all 3 revolvers but if I could only keep 1one it would br the Korth. Mine has the silver DLC finish like on your 357. The older S&Ws before the MIM parts and the dreaded lock are wonderful revolvers. The new Colt Anaconda is a huge step up from the originals and I look forward to seeing the new Kodiak when released.
Thise Korth revolvers are masterpieces. That is awesome you own one. Enjoy it. Thank you for watching
Sloppy, check serial # and you can find date of mfr. Show a group comparison, weight & specs for each weapon. All I got here was a hyperventalation and very little fact.
I am sorry you feel that way. I try to show comparisons. What is the exact thing you woukd like to know?
I just like revolvers because of the astetics and more accurate
I like them also. They are all around awesome
Cool
Thank you
You are so RIGHT !!! Gimmick!!!! Ricky from IBM
There are alot of gimmicks these days
The question is which gun do you want to bet your life on if it’s being used for self-defense Ricky from IBM
Always the 45
Ask yourself this question, why do many SWAT Teams including the FBI and special forces carry 1911s ? Ricky from IBM
I know the special forces carry them. Some of the. Are even Wilson. Not alot of people know this
@@TerryBenton only the in-lighten shooter(operator) does a deep dive on firearms, ballistics, etc.
@@k4vms correct
If you are professionally trained and you train regularly you will not need many shots. But if there are multiple assailants or you loose a mag during a fire fight or a mag fails that’s why you carry multiple magazines at least 2 is the rule of thumb Ricky from IBM
I always carry 2 backup Mags. Always
@@TerryBenton as do I
I am law enforcement trained and if you are carrying a weapon for self-defense you can deploy and come on target much fast with iron sights then with these optical sights. At least that is my experience. GOD save you if that optical sight fails. RIcky from IBM
Those optics are a gimmick. I do have one pistol that has all the toys on it and it shoots amazing. I also have iron sights that co witness with that optic. In handguns all you need to do is pick up the front sight quickly. People do not understand this. Nobody cares how tight your group is in a self defense situation
@@TerryBenton me too. A 1911 that came from Kimber with all the Gimmicks. The iron sights are high so they can co-witness with the optic. It’s a fun range to but as a home defense gun and a carry gun no. I prefer iron sights
Which one is better, easy, the one you can shoot the best is the better out of the 2 Ricky from IBM
This is true of all firearms and practice always makes perfect in any challenge you decide to take on in life
@@TerryBentonHi Terry, sorry for all the comments. You struck a cord with this presentation. Our instructors told us perfect practice makes practice perfect. If you practice something wrong, well you get it.
Again Brilliant minds think alike. I have similar versions of these weapons my self. But I believe my favorite is still the 1911. I own several of each of these. My favorite is the 1911 commander with a rail. Except my caliber is the mighty .45 ACP Ricky from IBM
I am going to do a couple of 1911 videos coming up. People are getting drained with the revolvers. Lol.
Finally someone that knows how to run a 1911> one of the give always that someone knows how to run a 1911 is there is no slide release but there is a slide stop. The proper way to rack the slide on a 1911 is a firm over the hand grip on the slide and pul to the rear. There are other tells that show that someone know the way to run a 1911. Ricky from IBM
@k4vms people gangster drop slides on guns and it actually causes harm. Especially on a 1911 that has an empty chamber.
@@TerryBenton like I said it’s nice to find someone who knows how to run a 1911
Also, what type of camera do you use?
Not a good camera. Most of the time it is just a phone on a tripod. I am not a professional film person and I do not edit. Sorry for the quality. The Comt Kodiak looks cool that is coming out soon.
@@TerryBenton yeah I just might end up getting that kodiac one day in the future but I thought you were using an actual video camera and not a phone. I think your videos look just fine because they're extremely clear.
@RevolverTv I try my best being an amateur. That Kodiak is a good looking gun from the pictures I have seen. I am sure it is awesome. Get ine and let me know what you think
Id love to get the 4 inch brand new colt kodiac
They just released a few cool ones. Viper,Grizzly and Kodiak. They all look amazing and I am sure they will be well built if they hold suit to the current modern revolvers
Awesome this is great!
Thank you
Don’t forget Barry from Resident Evil rocked one.
Yup
Sources: trust me bro
Right
J frames have been getting the job done for years and will be for many more years to come. Would rather pocket carry a J frame than anything else. Add some +p loads and you're not under gunned. Been following for a while now. Much love for the channel, sir.
The j frame is a really good carry option as you mentioned with plus p loads. They never fail. Thank you for continuing to watch.
I wish they made the 29 with that slide. My go to is my 29 and I love that. 10mm and 45 ACP are no joke. Downfall with 10mm is 95% of ammo companies don’t load it right. With Buffalo bore, underwood or grizzly that’s some serious stuff
They do make some serious 10mm ammo. Ordinary stuff as you mentioned is about the same as 45acp. Those really hot loads are serious
@@TerryBenton oh yeah no doubt about it man! I enjoy both 45 and 10mm each have a special place in my soul haha
@@jonahhayes6190 that is cool
Round butt
A revolver is good for the fact that the brass stays in the gun
Correct
Killin grizzlies ummmm ok 😆 now I'm gonna tell u why 9mm is better than 45....price per round lolololololo
.45 worship is for boomers who think the 1911 is a competitive pistol design in the modern era. The reality is .45 has almost the same exact ballistics because the flaws of both rounds make them cause very similar damage. Now .45 is better suppressed cuz it's slow, but 9mm has better range, making it a better submachinegun caliber
You do not seem very smart. You might hurt yourself at a range
@@TerryBenton literally a side by side by side ballistic comparison, they are almost identical wound channels with .45 and 9mm fmj
@jake6317 fmj. Please stop talking. You are embarrassing yourself. You are one of those idiots that has to be right. I am running this show cowboy and I have countless videos on this subject. This short was a joke but you truly are o e of those die hard 9mm to the death people. I am done talking to you. You cannot fix stupid. Learn some science and own more than one single 9mm pistol and maybe you will become a better educated person
@@TerryBentonthey did it with hollow points too. And sure insult me but good guntubers probably don't get emotional and would probably just kindly deconstruct the argument to actually teach people. But please, take a .45 and .9mm, shoot ballistic gel, and tell me that the 2 inch depth difference or the slightly larger hole is the difference between killing a bear and being unable to kill a human, I'll wait.
I had one of those like 2 years ago lol pretty sweet piece
They are cool. I like the fact you can still shoot single action if you want. Thanks for watching
@@TerryBenton yep no snagging on the hammer but you can still use it yep
The new Anaconda is where Colt really hit it out of the ballpark. The new Anaconda is a much better revolver than the older ones. With superb fit and finish and a much better action. As for the Korth in 44 Magnum it is in a class by itself and I own both. If I had to pick one it would definitely be the Korth. How about a side by side range review.
I will do that one day. I have been wanting to do range reviews on alot of stuff. I have just never filmed anything at a range and will have to figure out how to do it. Thank you for watching
Great comparison, love your comparison videos.
Thank you for watching
Once you own one with the fitted 9mm cylinder you'll have and even more versatile revolver. The Korth and Manurhin MR-73s are in a class by themselves. It's kind of like comparing a Rolex to a lessor watch, they both tell time but that's were it ends.
You are correct. I am a bit of a Rolex nut also. I have never owned or handled a Manurhin but I hear very good things about them. Maybe one day
I'd like your optinion on a Manurhin MR-73 thrown into this mix. The silver DLC finish on your Korth kicks the price up even more. The new Python is IMO superior to the old one and if you wanted a new one built like the the old ones you'd have the same price as a Korth.
I completely agree. I have nevernowned or handled a Manurhin. I do k kw they are suppose to be top notch revolvers and I belive the folks that say it. I just have not personally handled o e so I would be lying to you of I gave you my take on it and I will never do that. Maybe one day I can get my hands on one and try it out. I am sorry I coukd not give you an answer
You talk like you know what you're talking about but the fact is semi auto's jam and a jam in the woods with a bear is "you're dead" so actually you are wrong. The revolver is the better choice.
I am an expert. You can trust me
My EDC is a .45 acp in California no bears but there is ?
Lol. I feel bad for you having to live in California
Another great Smith video😊 🍻
Thank you
If you're going to get a semi-automatic 9 mm go for the PDP gang
Right
@@TerryBenton I love mine. Good video too bro.
@@Felon_With_A_Gun they are really good weapons
@@TerryBenton I have put about 3,000 rounds through mine so far without malfunction. And I have not cleaned it yet. Which I know is not great LOL but it shows you I probably put about 10 different types of rounds through it too.
@@Felon_With_A_Gun that is awesome man
A friend of mine once said 5 or 6 shots isn't enough, because you need to factor in how many bullets per attacker. I told him "If I'm being attacked by more than one person, I'm probably already dead."
Most encounters, just displaying the firearm gets them to run. Once they hear the bang? I don’t think they’re going to stick around to find out how many shots you have.
So many options. Can’t decide!
It is a tough decision.
Just bought a 442. Perfect summer carry.
They are really light and carry well. Good choice. Thanks for watching
