The 4” 586 is just dead sexy. S&W revolvers are easily worked on, and parts availability is great. The new Python has zero parts availability, and I’d imagine the Korth is even worse. My local gunsmith won’t touch a Python, because he can’t get parts. Great Presentation! 👍👍👍💥
Thank you for watching.
I have a gunsmith that will.worl.on my old pythons if needed but as you stated there are no parts for the new ones. I lost the grip pin to my anaconda amd colt would not even sell me one. After alot of yelling they sent me one under "warranty "
👍 Beautiful pair of 586s!
Thank you
Yes, buying an expensive firearm will not turn you into a great shooter. However, if you put in the time, a high quality gun will generally shine. Forty years ago, I bought a used Model 17 S&W with an 8 3/8" barrel that someone had worked over extensively before I got it. After I practiced with it a while, I found it cold shoot 1/2" groups at 25 yards all day with the right ammo and if I did my part. Then, about 20 years ago, I bought a Wilson Combat CQB and found out very quickly that again, if I did my part, it would hold 1" at 25 yards. No other handgun I own will approach the accuracy of these two guns (and I have a few), but you have to put in the time to make these expensive purchases worthwhile. The person behind the gun is by far the most important "component" in the shooting game.
Very good story and I completely agree. I also own a couple.of wilson combat. They are incredible if you practice like you mentioned.. thanks for watching
I’m a sucker for older Smiths and Colts. I have some that are nearly 100 years old and everything in between. Still look and works just fine. So, I’ll take the Smith. I do not like that cylinder release on that korth at all. I had pistols with changeable cylinders and barrels. I thought it was cool when I bought it, but I never changed anything once it was set up. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching. I am not a cylinder changing type of guy either

This is going to sound crazy, can you compare a ria 1911 a1 to a colt 1911 a1? Or a kalashnikov ak 47 to a zastava ak 47? Thank you sir.
I will surely see what I can do
