Smith & Wesson J Frame comparison model 60 vs. 638 Airweight

This is comparison of an older Vintage Smith and Wesson Model 60 and a newer more modern Smith and Wesson 638 airweight. They are both J frames.

I've had my 638 a long, long time. It's old enough to not be rated for +P loads. It's so small and so light that it's fit for carry when just about anything else would be too much. In the hot climate I live in, during the summertime it is one of the few CCW guns that's practical.
