Waiter addresses diners. "Is anything alright?"
Mrs Richards is a quality woman, respect needed
Brilliant.
Waldorf salad should be disgusting based on the ingredients. If I'd known what was in it all those times I ate it in the 70's, I'd never have tried it.
Why isn’t he Sir John Cleese!
She is perfect. 😂 And she was so good as the tragic Miss Bates in the TV series "Emma" 1996.
Incredibly eloquent and a national treasure
She go cllrazy 😂
Sistine Chapel of comedies this 1 minute piece of writing is utter genius.
I know Basil is supposed to be at fault (no pun intended) here but honestly, the American guy wasn't exactly blameless either, demanding the kitchen stays open longer without any notice beforehand, as well as throwing a tantrum over wanting a salad that wasn't on the menu.
Wtf she has an American accent in real life??
Sex dolls have come a long way since then
Old bat
Genius
British comedies will never be the same no matter how cheesy sometimes it gets I love it. I hate this modern British comedies because its feels like forced humour than genuine. The last modern one I use to love was My family but nothing else now.
Why does Polly hand over two empty bottles near the end of this clip?
There are some comedians who raise their craft to true genius. John Cleese is one of them.
Their brains are like swiss cheese. Who? The Indians?
He ought to do Fawlty Towers: The Movie
He's no doubt right about audiences not wanting original films. Look how many times D.C. super hero films have been rebooted, sequeled over and over again!
I dont want a sodding baby
Brilliant work

"Waldorf Salad" is definitely peak of Fawlty Towers. It never ceases to amuse me.
Strangling the gnome 😂
Wayne😊😊😊😊😊
Be to
1:40...😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂 I love this show 😂
1:01 That Freemason thing really is all over the place.
An amazing show. .
Love at 1:03...when she says dragonfly basil running away in the background 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
That were so funny to watch when this programme was on the television years ago.
My favorite comedic clip ever!!
Turn away some of the riff-raff.😅
He was hilarious
This is like Mr Bean
Joan Sanderson was a great actress. She's brilliant in this clip. John Cleese is great aswell. I can't see the sea. It's between the land and the sky. Brilliant writing.
2:54 Massive kudos to Derek Royle for being carried about like that for bloody ages and staying dead. I adored Fawlty Towers as a kid and its one of the few times I ever saw my dad laughing with his entire body almost lifting off the chair. But I'm 52 now and I actually find it rather exhausting to watch. I prefer a bit of Porridge now.
Poor Mr. Fawlty
Head concession
A great show.
NO! NO CHEESE!!
Wayne😊😊😊😊
"That golfing puffadder." It's one of the greats .
Why did the Major address Basil by his last name? Was he Basil’s CO in Korea?
Joan Sanderson deserves a posthumous Oscar for her performance as my paternal Grandmother. No really, she got it spot on.
Priceless
