I worked with Andrew on numerous occasions. Such a lovely man, so well mannered and a wonderful voice not only to record but to listen to. I have so many fond memories.
I get so emotional listening to how much gratitude these talented people have for working with each other! Another reason the show was so good! Andrew was beyond amazing! A master a pysical comedy!
@@chrisspoohbear8903 He said in one interview that he would take the tube back home the evening of an episode broadcast and nobody would recognise him, even those discussing the latest episode on the train. Such is the power of the moustache :-)
Without Andrew That classic wouldnt have been as Good. Just his Scenes with John are Brillant, thanks to John and Connies fine Writing. RIP Andrew(Manuel)Sachs. Shalom. 🇬🇧🇮🇱
A wonderful, talented man, before he died my husnamd approached him to ask for info about a piece of work he did "The Revenge' which is a play with no dialogue or speech, Just sound effects and binaural mics. He'd brocken his leg so eas able to talk about it. My husban got a first class hons degree partly thanks to Andrew, sonic Art is sadly still an 'merging' form of 'Art' hopeully that will change! I will never forgive Russle Brand or, ESPECIALLY Ross, refuse to even watch him now!

In real life he was such a quiet, humble and thoughtful man; you'd never have thought there was so much comic energy and invention underneath it all!!

Did he ever change his name to Andrew or did he stay with Andreas?
He was known as Andrew Sachs.
