@JoiLouiseReacts the last episode just made me laugh. The second colin walked into that bedroom and spotted his wife. She knows she has that man whipped. She said nothing, did nothing. It was very "the decision is yours, look at me, I think I made my point, what will it be boy?". You just saw him think about caving for a second but stuck to his decision. Which was funny cause he is just t*rmenting himself at this point. Pen did nothing, said nothing, yet she is winning this argument cause the man is hooked and she knows it. The first morning she walked out worried and let him be cranky at her. Second morning she had a great night sleep knowing he is t^rmenting himself on the fun sofa. She walked out like "good morning, how did you sleep?, me fantastic good sleep good morning". 🤣 She turned the tables and left him alone like he did to her the day before. 😂 What he doesn't realise is she is used to colin not being into her for years. Colin on the other hand didn't make it 2 weeks ever since they kissed. She can hold out a h^ck of a lot longer than he can. 🤣

I totally get that but still…🥺 He knew better and I wanted the upmost respect from him for Pen. That’s all. However, they ended up working out very well. 🥰

By far the BEST season so far. I can understand being upset and needed it your space when dealing with disagreements and disappointment in a relationship. I don’t believe Colin ever had the idea to NOT marry Pen. He was just hurt and that is valid. I am so happy they finally got to start their love story and I can not wait to see them in future seasons. 🥰

@@JoiLouiseReacts yes! And thank you for a your reactions this season, It was a Joy to watch you. Can I Just say something I've been thinking about Eloise, though? I've never been a Peneloise shipper, but this season truly made me Wonder If her feelings for Penelope are completely platonic. There is a Lot of subtext and parallels between Colin's feelings for Penelope and Eloise's. Like, Colin saying that Eloise is Lucky she never Fell in love. And Eloise Just looks at him, like she herself is wondering. Then, at the wedding she is happy for them, but she also seems melancholic, so much so that Benedict (the stablished queer character) talks to her, implying that Colin is her favourite brother and that Her friendship with Penelope is a 'Lucky' thing, and that love is not finite. Then she looks longinly at Pen and cryies again. After that, she decides to Go to Scotland. Isn't funny that at the end of the previous seasons It's always Colin that goes away looking for purpose and the minute Penelope marries she decides to go and Colin is the one staying? I think in a way Penelope and her being 'spinsters' together was her purpose and she Lost It. But this IS Just me rambling. If you ever rewatch S3, Just entertain that possibility, It is só interesting to see Eloise's actions in this new light.

Hey, I am VERY familiar with Sammy’s videos and appreciate her perspectives on these characters too. But people are allowed to draw their own conclusions, it’s what makes us authentic and different as human beings. That’s what makes this show such a success. Regardless of how people feel about the leads, they’re still watching. 🥰 I agree with you that we should not compare the leads of these shows to each other because they are intended to be different. Also because Penelope Bridgerton (the Diamond) is incomparable. 🤭 I am one who does my very best not to compare and fell in love with the character Penelope because of the similarities I draw from my own life experiences. Nicole and Luke were divine this season and I will watch season three for decades to come. 🫶🏽

@@JoiLouiseReactshey thank you for your reaction i love your videos by the way you’re killing me 😂😂😂 with your facial expressions and your comments when you reacting and I love the expression❤ when you love something and find it sweet it’s very comforting and of course I agree people are allowed to draw their own conclusions i think it’s because I am very sensitive and empathetic I feel things deeply( autism/adhd) it’s just frustrating to me when for example people say when is colin sensitive or empathetic but you have clips from all 3 seasons where he picks up on peoples feelings like pen or his family and asked if something is wrong and if their ok and how many times he gone after Penelope to check if she is alright. That’s why suggested those videos because you can see those clips in one video and of course draw your own conclusions because I think with the time between seasons you can maybe forgets things or maybe not pay much attention on de side plot in season 1 and 2 and missing things

I totally understand what you’re saying. But remember to have fun with this show, this is all fantasy. While it is meant to drum up conversation, Colin and Penelope are characters first. And for some people in depth analysis doesn’t come so easy. It’s good to have people on YT that are. What was your favorite scene/moment this season?

@@JoiLouiseReacts ohhh difficult question I will mention a couple when Penelope says to Colin you miss me but you will never court me is that correct. The fake lemonade stand the scene when they laugh together at the ball when he yokes let’s gallop along the first kiss the dancing in the church they love dancing together the wedding when she stops walking and they make eye contact and he nods and reassures her the carriage scene. There’s a moment I keep playing back that’s when Colin says I will not stand for someone blackmailing my wife and Penelope says that is kind Colin and she looks down and says but I can pay her and how shocked they are that she made that much money ( girl boss moment) when he stands up to her mother I keep replaying that one too

Lol! It's Prince Eric form the live action Little Mermaid! Valliant and heroic entrances! His character reminded me so much of a heroic prince this season for some reason.

@@JoiLouiseReacts I totally get that. He really wants to be that romantic hero saving Penelope, which he does here. But like Penelope says sometimes being her hero is simply supporting her decisions and knowing he's got her back. Honestly I think if Penelope was asked what was Colin's most heroic moment, it would be standing up to her mother after they got engaged.

Most definitely! It was such a simple thing (standing up for her) to Colin but meant the WORLD to Penelope. I couldn’t agree more.

Yes, I plan on finishing the trilogy, we are just working our way through the rest of Ginny & Georgia after coming off of Bridgerton Season 3.

Hello, there! I loved this season so much because I relate to Penelope so much. I too really enjoyed her character arc and seeing her be the hero of her own story. The cast's bachelorette party for Nicola must have been a blast - wonder if they had a Bridgerton-themed event! Luke and Nicole have such good chemistry and REALLY sold the love story for me.

I agree! And I think Cressida felt this way too. There should have been a better ending between the three this season. Her mother just has her claws in her too deeply. I felt for her by the last episode. Hope this doesn’t harden her further.

I have seen many people call this out as well. Apparently Colin stands with her in the book. I can appreciate the series not taking a cover to cover approach. On the heels of movies like BARBIE, women are more and more shown as being their own saviors. I mean for so many of us, there has NEVER been anyone to step in and stand with us. I think it makes sense for Penelope to be both her own and the Featherington savior this season. It made me proud as a woman to experience it. And for the child she creates with the man of her dreams to be the next Lord of the house. Pen is a BOSS!

Lol! You're so right! Nicola is GORGEOUS! I think Violet's conversation with Colin really stuck with him, you know the one about rusting armor? If he keeps it on for too long, it would be hard to take off. Also, when you love a person and they have both apologized and are trying their best to do better and change, you'd only be a fool to remain angry.

@@JoiLouiseReactsi think colin didn’t sleep with her is because he sees it as a emotional connection between them and would not feel right to do so if he feels angry at that moment but he still wanted to be close to her the sofa is still apart of their bedroom and the house has multiple rooms but he slept on a uncomfortable couch and stayed close to her you could argue that he was worried about the servants talking but i don't think he would care about that i think that he feels a lot of emotions he is angry jealous and feels guilty and ashamed about that he feels not worthy and insecure if look at the others season his family made him feel that as well never taking him seriously telling him he talks to much about his travels and history of places his been while you can see clearly his very passionate about that like Colin said to Penelope she the only one who has seen him clearly and really appreciate him

@@darla1204 I agree with you - BUT, my issue is that the writers didn’t allow them to work out their problems before getting married. The Queen literally crashed their wedding; and what does Colin do? He abandons her “metaphorically” on their wedding night to sleep on a sofa because she won’t give up her dream; he mind as well just left her on the altar. It’s like a couple that gets married without having the talk about children; one wants lots while the other don’t want them. The show could have saved Colin if they wrote a scene where they finally communicate with each other on their wedding night like Daphne and Simone did. I wanted Penelope to read him his rights so bad and drag him for fifth because a person can’t spend the rest of their lives apologizing.

I would LOVE this too!! Ugh! To be able to see what her life was like and get even more of an understanding of Portia the girl. Her dreams, her aspirant who she wanted to be before meeting old Archie. 🤭

Maybe it’s a rumor, but there’s supposed to be a spinoff about Violet and Edmund. I wouldn’t mind seeing that, especially since they keep saying they had a true love match…plus, I wouldn’t mind seeing how Violet like her garden tended to…just hope she remembers to cut the grass first…LOL

@@JoiLouiseReacts Yes, flashbacks to Portia’s girl hood would definitely need to be included. I’d like to find out what Portia’s parents were like, particularly her mother (Penelope’s grandmother). I’d also love to see Penelope have more private conversations with Charlotte, Violet, & especially Lady Danbury… with hopefully all these matriarchs (especially Danbury) giving her sound mentorship to move forward with the column.

Hello, there! Thank you for your in depth comment. I am aware that this was how things were, but find a hard time grasping that for a lot of the world, it is STILL the way things are. Now, I get that for the regency era this was just not the way things were done. I wouldn't say it is bad parenting, but as a woman, I want my daughter to know what is going to happen to her body and for her to not feel blindsided like I did. Fantasy or not, it is our job to make sure our children are as prepared as possible in all aspects. Lady Danbury was able to "draw it out" for Queen Charlotte and I went up for that scene. It doesn't need to be a big deal, but the daughters should be able to ask questions of their mothers and not leave their bodies and the knowledge of what they can do up to men. Times have changed but it is so strange that we seem to be so far behind when it comes to this topic. Thank God for aunties, female teachers and big sisters. Lol!

@@JoiLouiseReacts no I totally get it, but that’s why I also said it seems so weird to us now because the show is not historically accurate and I think some people do actually think it is. I personally love the clothing but none of it is historically accurate. Some of those dresses would take decades to make, some colors wouldn’t have been worn at all because the dyes didn’t exist for them yet, etc. the part that stood out to me the most was the views on sex and pregnancy and you’re the first person I’ve seen address them. Again only because so many modern things are put in there that the historically accurate customs give us whiplash. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I appreciate your insights and it's great that my video resonated with you. This show is definitely an oxymoron or magic and nonsensical drama. Lol! But I LOVE a little silliness and inaccuracy here and there. Reality is bleak.
