can’t blame connie for being upset at the prom and not being mentally present, prom is usually in may and susannah died in may, so she was probably at her sickest during this…if my mom only had a few days if not weeks left i wouldn’t want to be at a dance either🥺
You’re so right. Part of me feels like he should have bowed out if he didn’t feel emotionally ready for a relationship or to go to the prom. Poor thing! Mental health is no joke! 😫

@@averypatterson.Respectfully, this isn’t the books and he shouldn’t have went if he couldn’t mentally deal with it like she originally said. Relationships are about communication. He could’ve tried a little harder to fight for the relationship too if he really didn’t want to break up. Conrad is not fully at fault obviously but Belly was feeling the way she was feeling for a reason. (This isn’t supposed to sound aggressive or mean so hopefully it doesn’t come off that way)
Interesting, 1st you say he should’ve bowed out and then is you say he should’ve tried harder. He is trying really hard to be there for her, for her prom. It Just didn’t work out. It’s not the end of the world.
I know I'm so late to this. I just discovered you today. Yay! Lol but just wanted to answer the question about the home ownership and why the mom's share didn't pass to her kids. The mom and sis had to have a joint tenancy, meaning the mom's share automatically went to her sis when she died. For the kids to get the mom's share, the home would've needed to be owned as tenants in common so the mom could will her share to her sons.

How is he back on the list when belly is making a scene because he’s being comforted at is moms FUNERAL??? Like I get she’s young but she’s not 5.
Comforted? In a secluded room away from the entire repast? Being upstairs with a random girl at his mother’s funeral is inappropriate. They both made a scene, not just Belly. They both loved his Mom. Conrad is on my list because he doesn’t know how to communicate and says things like “why is she here?” and “It was a mistake to start something with you”. He needs to grow up too! This is why he’s on my list. But he isn’t the only one. Blame is NEVER one sided. Belly has blame too, but somehow these boys forget themselves and what they do wrong and talk to her like their CRAZY. This is why they’ve all been on my list. 🤷🏾♀️ I’m big on respect, Belly felt disrespected by Conrad being in a room with another girl, I felt it was disrespectful to his mother.
