I have a 1968 t100 that needs the upper rebuilt can you send me a price
Is there any desire to install the rocker shaft with the oil holes in a specific direction? Some old timer years ago told me they “have to be faced up…. You whippersnappers aren’t paying enough attention and back in my day, I was a champion kid!”
You said you're going dry for this one, but I'm curious what you normally use on inner and outer gearbox covers. I have blue hylomar, Permatex anaerobic sealant and some Hondabond. Trying to figure out which of those 3 would be best, or if I should get something different.
Excellent video, my gearbox bearing are worn out and I am rebuilding the box, Thanks
hi richter can you tell me how you fix thrump exhaust ports that are striped out do yoy weld them up i herd you can heila coil them thanks dons engines
i prefer to bore them and press and weld in a threaded insert
Hi . Can you tell me the standard dia of the oil seal end on my 1969 T120. Mine is 0.624. When I tried fitting the seal over the crankshaft, it fits, but it feels like it is too loose. Thanks. Really enjoying all your videos man.
Great video! I am running 3 phase on my restoration and the same regulator, glad to hear his stator did not melt, that gives me hope!
Beautiful piece of work better than factory.Take care !
Just caught that bit up, good videos better than most, camera work is awesome
Awesome, thank you!
did I miss something, or isn't the mainshaft nut missing
Beautiful sound! Cool rebuild specs/philosophy. Unique bike.
It sure is!
What doesvthe 6mm valve conversion and beehive springs entail? Have the thackeray washers on the rockers been replaced with solid dual item? Would it be possible to share links where you purchased the mods or had work done please?
Need to get my '70 triumph daytona crank to you to have the journals ground.
Nice job, very crisp on the exhaust note, just want to go
Those build videos are a great addition to the channel. Miss the old TV bike build off shows this kind of had that vibe.
thanks man thats what it felt like same energy some time line lol i was sad i didnt have time to stay till the end
Those pushrod tubes are amazing.
Hell Yeah!!! That sound, I freakin love it man.
You and me both!
Great bike with great mods, I too much prefer my original 74 T120V to my modern pretender Triumph. I too went to a 21t gearbox sprocket with a 46 on the rear conical, you can squeeze a 46 on the rear hub but that's the limit. Also got billet rods and dynamic balance as this one has. This bike sounds crisp and exactly like mine 👍
Great bike build review.
Thanks! 👍
Love those Triumph Tigers. Out with the new in with the old classics.

Great bike and upgrades, sounds spot on too! I have a 76 T140V, so quite similar, I did a ton of work on it including a top end rebuild as it was blowing smoke, list of parts and work is too long for here! I'm running standard 20 teeth up front but recently dropped to 43 on rear, best thing I ever did, totally transforms the ride and much more comfortable cruising at 70 mph. Pulling away hardly seems to have changed at all, so happy with tbis set-up. Great video, thanks guys!
Very nice!
Link please for pushrod tubes 🙏
they wont be available for a bit fallow Award cycle he is working on it
Loved the video and concise description of all that was done. Richter is a skilled man !
Much appreciated!
That amal bowl is trick!
i know i want some!
Holy crap that's beautiful.
i agree he is so talented
Those push rod tubes are similar to how Continental Engines does it for airplanes. It works very well.
well then thats very fitting!
Are those BMW rims? The spring loaded pushrod tube is pretty cool...and I need a pair of those carb manifolds in whatever resin that was. I get carb over-heating problems on my T140 no matter what o-ring or insulator I try. I wonder of those would do the trick
super rare rokon rt340 magnesium wheels
Ricks custom choppers loves this keep it up!
Thanks! Will do!
I am planning to rebuild a Norton 750 and these types of 'inspection' videos are gold. IMHO if you don't skip steps, and don't take anything for granted, it comes down to having the right tool for the job. I don't, so I'll be taking it apart first and then looking for a reputable machine shop next.
Man thank you for the videos. I just found your channel a couple weeks ago. I really do appreciate all of the information. I know it's a lot to do your full-time job and produce videos. I am grateful that you do it. you kick @ss sir.
Wow man thanks! Glad you like them!
Awesome video
Thanks!
Love your work, fantastic attention to detail. Really looking forward to the Norton engine tear down 😁
You and me both! its going to be RUFF!!
Great video man! Lived in Sacramento for 6 years, cool city. If you are going to get any riding in try to go ride Highway 49, and also try to hit up Lake Tahoe, beautiful parts of the state!
Thanks for the tips! im excited
Very nice work AJ really enjoy watching your videos. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!

Hi I have replacement cam timing gears, but they don’t have they installation/ removal threads on them. Any idea how to install them
very loaded question man butttttttt....... a hallow drift and a soft hammer be carful!
@@dirtyshirtrichter8647 Hi, Thank you, I have now got it figured out. I can use the tools for the early cam gears. Thank you for your excellent videos, especially the gearbox install… magic, works great.
@@dirtyshirtrichter8647 Thank you, got it sorted now.
Wow really good vid it will help me out heaps thanks
I grabbed mine with a hook and slide hammer.
nice work, if I lived next door I would give you my chest camera mount!
Deal!

Really dig the patina those rides, I find them much more interesting than the shiny stuff. Cool van you have, what do you have under the hood? Thanks for the video.

I love the van, that 4 link looks really good! Where is torquefest at?
thanks man!! its in dubuque so a bit of a drive but not to bad
@@dirtyshirtrichter8647 Dubuque is a cool town, I'll have to try and go sometime.
Very nicely done that matey cheers.
Well, truth be told, I watch this for the motorcycle stuff but I like the van.
