Exactly! Man, they are really trying to sell a false narrative by all means necessary. But real talk, nobody is slated to have GOOD DAYS for 365 days of their lives, every year. Things happen, and it's human. We talk in the car. We bond over issues we have, because every RIDER won't have good days 100% of the time either. That's where drivers who have BEEN THRU SHIT come in handy. We are like therapists. We talk people thru shit because we been thru it, too. We help lend and ear and we have compassion for people. Sometimes, a ride with the right driver is all that you need to set you back on a good path for the day. THAT'S why it's important to have a REAL driver...a driver that has been thru some rough days. We are human and we connect. These folks wanna disconnect us.

We'll make sure we build a company that is very selective with drivers. If you're not legal, you're not in. Fck what anybody else says...could care less. As an American, I can't just run to any country and start working today, so why should it be different here? Because politicians want slaves?? Nah. We will build here and make sure what we build is for anyone willing to work hard, work fairly, and to be understanding that the goal is not to be filthy rich, but to be respected by those who we have in our lives. That's better than having money and NOT being respected, like most of our politicians are right now.

What I want to know is how is Waymo determining what rides to accept? Does the software have some type of algorithm? is it a live person that accepts the trips? And does it cherry pick or accept anything. If it accepts anything wouldn’t that lower OUR offers?

If it was easy driving, why are people in Arizona the worst drivers and we have the most accidents and head-on collisions? LOL! Reality. "Grid" and "flat' doesn't equate to "easy" in reality. You still have to drive according to road conditions at all hours of the day.

I really don't see that service going any where. The accidents that it is haveing and I am not hearing of anyone being held accountable. In trucking there are driverless tractor trailer trailers in Neveda But. By law ( the federal government) there has got to be a human behind the wheel when it is in motion. If this does happen, then I see states makeing that a law as well. Thus is crazy. Car manufacturers have to test the saftey of thier vehicles and pass a test with results. How are states just ignoring this & letting it happen? The opinion of " things have to happen to make it better" Then I say put your family. Kids, brothers etc in front of one of those things and see if it stops. Come onnnn....it's getting crazy out here

We used to do short rides with surge. Now, there's a ton of short rides....but no surge. Waymo does all the short rides so the apps stop putting surge out to entice us to take them. Now we're getting nature hikes for $0.66/mile. We convert them all to cash because we're not doing that. We used to do short rides for $2/mile or better, now all the short rides are like $0.79/mile with NO PAYMENT FOR TIME. Each mile is about 4mins, so if we got $0.25/min, we'd be getting an extra dollar per mile on top of that $0.79/mile for distance. That's why surges used to work: we would get a $3 surge, which is technically 3 miles of payment for TIME. Anything under 3 miles now pays at least $6...$2+/mile ALL DAY with short rides. Waymo killed that, brotha. We are now back to $3 for short trips paying less than $1/mile.

I turn all of my driving assistance stuff off in my BMW. When there's construction and there are multiple lines in the road (like on the 143 they're building out), a car can smack another car if it's relying on lanes and lines. There are none, so you gotta know what you're doing and where you are for it to work. I've never seen a Waymo on 143 for that reason.

Damn! 4hrs from the point of getting a car and going 45mins away. Damn. See, that's half a work-day. Nobody got time for all that!
