Uber just scammed me on an upfront fare to the airport! I was offered $25, but I only got $16. Their reason is because distance driven was shorter, WTF? I took a shortcut to avoid construction and I got the riders to the airport, what difference does it make that it is one less mile, yet I got from point A to B? I got screenshots of that BS!
Wow! Yup. That's the shit they pull! I've got it on video, too. Shorting me $6 for stopping on the same street, but a few houses before the house that was the destination. That's why we gotta convert these rides just to get our money. I know they didn't reduce the customer price for that trip, as all they did was take away the money they paid you.
I hate them too but Umma be honest. There was times it took me longer or I drove more miles & I got paid slightly more! I think it go both ways! But in your case, 1 mile difference for them to take $10 from you is diabolical, that’s crazy & I feel where you coming from 🤦🏾♂️
Yeah i had something similar with Lyft a couple months back. Older brother taking his little sister to volleyball practice decided he wanted a ride back to the house he changed the drop off in the app and they only paid me for one way. Stiff me for like 12 bucks and a half hour of my time plus gas. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Think about how they screwed you, and then multiply it times the 28 million Uber trips that are given around the world each day. Thieving all day every day to the tune of BILLIONS each year

They are all aware of it and we'll let the public know they don't give a shit about none of us, if they don't fix it. It's not safe. It's a crime, on top of that. And if they all know it's going on and still say, "...please use Uber at the airports", we'll let folks know they're getting into cars with criminals and Uber knows it.

By the way, I contacted Uber about this at Sky Harbor. They told me to film, get the screen names on each phone and talk with the owners of the phones. Really!? You think they are going to let me do that? Uber support is useless.

The airport issue is messed up. I now park outside the airport at a close restaurant. I still get the airport pickup without being in the queue. Once you drop off at airport our market places the driver in priority queue and can leave airport as long as you return within 3 hrs, you still have the priority queue.
By being close to the airport, it keeps you in front of the queue and you still get your ride.
This is how I defeat the airport mafia
Good plan!!! The app does reach outside the queue and pull riders off the streets. They used to get me on Lyft because all the drivers in the queue had surge, and I didn't have surge on the street. But if the ride paid well, I wouldn't need surge. I'd take it and bypass the queue.
Yep. 50% of the time I drop off at Sky Harbor I get a pick up too. Easy

they are not brazilians , they are cubans and Burma folks ... pay attentions on all expeditions parked at airport and look closely you'll find lots phone .. especially on 2nd lot by Amazon trailer parking
@@sunny06515 I’m here now at the Austin, TX airport and the queue is 176 deep however I just drove around and counted 98 cars. All the migrants have minimum 2 phones each and all vehicles with paper plates. This is why legit 5 star drivers like me are doing 12 hour days just to get $300 yet it used to be an easy $400 in 10 hour days.
I drove to ohare and went to the uber lot thinking there was over 100 drivers, I didn't get close to the lot and uber gave me a good 39 dollar ride, that hasn't happend in over 5 years. The lot was about empty, no drivers, something going on with rideshare, I think drivers a quitting big time!, keep putting the word out!!!
I agree. Drivers are getting off the apps and going private or going to a W2. The apps did this to themselves by not paying drivers - who actually do the damn work. On top of that, they're allow scammers to be on the apps in droves. Nobody got time for all that nonsense, and the apps are letting good contractors find better money out there, all while being stuck with scammers running the apps.
I mostly do deliveries on Spark and only use Uber Eats and Doordash as supplements now. Screwber is straight up trash now especially in Austin. Even the short rides pay horribly now. My market is severely saturated on Screwber and Gryft. Rideshare in Austin is dead unless you do private rides. I need to get a nicer vehicle than that shitty little Versa I drive.

I am about to report the vinnies in Austin at the airport there. I bet they also clog up downtown too. Last Saturday there was NO SURGE AT ALL in Austin at night. Luckily I killed it on Spark and Uber eats and even Doordash. Made $600 the last 2 days. I also switched to days doing Spark deliveries because Spark has been LIT ever since the vinnies got ran away from the store near me.

A couple of drivers are working with authorities right now at a couple of airports and they're gonna give me the content to report on so they're not harassed in their city for it. I'm gonna have police reports and filings with the DA soon. I'm hoping they do something about it, but I'm willing to host the content on my channel if it helps drivers get HONEST DOLLARS while out there. All these mfkas scheming us outta the queue is about to come to a head.

The only cases they really care about is prosecuting cops, they added 10 prosecutors just to go after cops. Austin PD Is so shorthanded because of this shit there are like 6 officers to work downtown on weekends. A fatal car crash took 4 hours for an officer to get there. People are super pissed at APD, but it's not their fault everyone is leaving and they can't hire people. Nothing is getting prosecuted in Austin. It's nothing but San Francisco east. Homeless camps and all, it's just like San Francisco.

The vinnies with stolen accounts got busted last Thursday in my zone on Spark. I have been JAMMING on Spark the last several days. Hell I made so much last weekend, I am able to take a road trip with my mom to California to visit my sister. Now if only Instacart could get rid of the bots on their platform, that gravy train will really get moving!
Jeff I have do some research in Orlando MCO airport queue max paking space for Uber/lyft will hold up 200 car south and north queue however according to Uber app there was 400-500 cars in queue and they was $1 surge. Lyft only have 40/50 car .wonder where are the remaining car parking 😂😂😂

Also, on Lyft, at least the rider can request priority pickup which is 2 minute response time which screws those guys in the waiting lots up because they can't get there in 2 minutes, but next time I have some free time at the airport I just might swing in those lots and see what's up & take some pictures and videos

Sure...ok...whatever. I say post as much as you can to show riders and drivers BOTH that there are dealings going on outside of the legality of business, period. And with all these security issues we have going on, the last thing we need is THIS on an app that we're all trying to use in an industry we work in.
I get "Priority Pickup" offers 15 miles away..... Then they want to send me on a nature hike 40 miles, for a total of 55 miles for $25. These illegal aliens on fake/bought accounts have me getting a ton of pings at 50 cents a mile or even less.
I do only grocery platforms and have no idea how rideshare works, but I like the way you think. You mention "pride" and that pretty well sums it up. It's the glue that holds a functioning society together and it won't end well for any of us when that's gone.
100% agree!! Pride is a lost sense. We have a sense of touch. A sense of smell. A sense of sight. But we lost a sense of pride somewhere along the way. It's something that just makes you feel worth existing and worth reaching out with energy. You can be proud of the energy around you when you know it's gonna positively affect things going on. Looking at win-win-win situations all the time. No one loses if we all consider helping someone next to us win. And we can take pride in their victory as if it were our own victory....because we're the TEAM that life has to beat. We the 300.
One day I dropped off a passenger at Dulles International Airport. I don't do Airport pick ups but I decided to go to the designated parking lot for TNC vehicles. At most there are 30 cars in the queue but I saw 95 cars in the queue. I literally counted 20 cars in the TNC lot. Thanks for this video because it answered my question on how 20 cars and 75 ghost can hang out in the TNC lot.
Same here. I drive thru from time to time and it be sporadic cars all over the lot...easy to count. Be like 35 to 40 cars. Yet, the app will say 95. Ain't no way! We all see it, and we still got folks out there doubting reality because for one, they don't drive. For two, they sit on their ass on the internet talking about, "...this video dont show me nothing."

So when Uber failed I went back to my regular 9-5 impounding cars. But today…I took a scooter. Ignition popped, phone holder, and doordash bag inside of a food bag attached to the back. Can’t make this shit up.

True. I run a 50W GMRS and they say if I turn it up to 50W, the lower watt receivers can't communicate with it. I have to drop to 5W or 10W or something like that. I never thought of that!

Hey, we got a queue like that here, but the queues are connected on Uber's algorithm. The queue where the cops are, they don't hang as tough there. They do got a couple of folks there, but not as many as the other lot.

It has changed my mentality and now I'm making more money, building private clients, some are daily some are in the weekends and some of them I'm actually taking them on Tours to Yosemite, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park so now I'm making more money on top of just the regular ride.
It has helped me build relationships with locals and tourists from different parts of the world, I barely have a month and a half as a driver and I'm so happy to have found your channel at this early stage, it has completely changed my perspective and game plan, this last few weeks I been averaging $1,150- $1,300 just doing it part time. I'm thinking of saving up more and doing it full time because if I'm making more than a K a week doing it part time just imagine what I can make full time.

I've thought of a way the apps can potentially solve the pickup time pay. Rider goes to order a ride. The app shows a price range based on the closest and furthest driver. If the closest driver takes the ride they pay the lowest amount. If the ride gets declined and the furthest driver away takes it they pay the higher amount of the range. The only thing they need to do is quit price gouging the riders in the first place and actually give the drivers the full amount of the difference 😅
Yup. They usually get the money from the rider and that's that. The rider gets no choice in whether they get a reduction or not, and the app takes whatever maximum they can get outta the rider, paying as less as they can pay to any driver out there. Sucks. Gouging 101!

Lawsuits from people who use the app are the only way they'll stop. As long as people are allowing "strangers" who don't match the ID to come to their houses, the apps don't care. They could be sending child molesters to your house who just bought a fake account. They don't care. But the moment something goes sideways, watch they put out a media story going they're working on it. Sure...as we all witness it daily.
Right now at miami airport the total of 250 cars waiting from the app of uber for 30 lousy planes that maybe they don't order rideshare or maybe family going to pick them up so is rediculous and long wait for more then 2 hours....is insane
Those are all phones. Folks know ain't no damn 250 cars up there. The apps needs to send people out there to check that shit out, just for safety and fraud reasons on THEIR PLATFORM. But they dont care about safety or fraud. They care about MONEY, and they're willing to allow crime to help them get it, as well. They let these folks do this, and riders need to know.

It's all about prepping the surface and using any paint that can use automotive clear coating. Layers instead of glowing it on there. I don't think I've done paint videos, but I've painted a lot.

There are 150 Parking spots in the LAX Uber lot and yet there are 360 cars in the que its not rocket science they are corrupt.
Yet, we have doubters out there who have no idea of what's going on. They winder why airport money has literally dried up. Used to a fair system to be in the queue. Now? Nope. Wouldn't catch me up there waiting an hour for a $13 ride. Nope!!

Shows 25 cars at my ap now and only 2 flights coming in over the next 3 hours
That's our normal at Phx Sky Harbor. Sometimes, it'll dip to 10 cars in the queue. But lately, over 100 consistently. All phones turned on in the queue just taking up space and keeping drivers from even wanting to go there. Nobody wants to be number 110 and then sit there for 3hrs just to get a $13 ride.

Yessir! We all can do well if we can get rid of the handful that are messing up the flow of how we work. Drivers need to stop being greedy because nobody's getting nowhere like that. Open the game up and let contractors negotiate and get fares that they can work with. Holding contractors out of the queue because of GREED and CRIME RINGS ain't cutting it for us. They gon have to get out of the airports and we'll find a way to clean them up. I'm still waiting on word from a couple of drivers that are working with authorities, but if we can find a way here in Phx, I'll post the solution on a video and we'll get other cities involved. The least we can do is TRY to get the airports right for everyone.
I thought today was a holiday at lax. Queue had been avg 250 to 300 and today it was like 110. It even surged for a few bucks for the first time in a while. We'll see what happens the next few days. Did lyft and uber really fix the issue or are these drivers who are participating in these scamming the queue bullshit just taking precautions and stopping what they were doing for a while until the heat dies down.
I say keep the pressure on. Keep the whole internet space buzzing about how scam drivers with fake accounts are picking up passengers on the Uber app from the airport. I bet Uber gets involved. They don't like negative publicity like that, especially when it comes to safety.

Same in Phoenix. Nobody really goes there because the queue is usually over 100 cars deep and there's no surge. If you do go there to use the restroom or whatever, you're expecting to see a full lot with that many in the queue. Nope. Its like 40 cars spread out there...but the number in the queue is like 130.
In my market it depends on the day and time. Thursdays and Sundays I can make bank at the airport. Friday afternoons too

Hey Jeff sup?hey in Vegas the staging lot it’s across the street from Thomas and Mac Center. I’m sure you’re familiar with it. It’s a huge parking lot. I’ve always wonder why there are over 100 cars over there most of them SUVs.also as you know EDC this weekend and it was a disaster so Uber had an incentive to give you 20 extra dollars for taking and bringing people from the speedway which is where it is at not only we didn’t get paid the $20. Nobody was taking trips down there. people were furious and I know one guy who got terminated from the app because the riders put a different address then switch it to the speedway so they tricked the Uber driver into taking the trip, but he didn’t want to take them. They report him this guy and Uber terminating his account. I did get paid though made a few grand 😂 ✌🏼
The only way I'd do an event that big NOW is by doing cash rides. Ain't no way I'd let these apps have me all over the place for pennies, while the apps banked on our backs. Nope. We're too smart for that now. And riders will lie and play a driver QUICK, just to get a cheaper ride. So, we negotiate a price that's fair. If they wanna pay it, pay it before we start moving. If they don't wanna pay it, another driver can take the ride and they can kick back and see who's willing to take it.

Nope. Because Uber is getting paid by the scams, too! They won't stop their own money, even knowing there's something illegal going on. Drivers were getting pissed of waiting and started offering CASH RIDES and uber didn't like that.
Uber knows the lots are being held hostage, which makes me think uber knows who's doing it and are probably involved in-house with some of the schemes.

I sat at the east lot one time about year ago, waited 90 minutes never got a ride, granted this was before I started watching your video's. I never have went back to a waiting lot ever again. I make more money leaving and going back to euther waiting in my to spots on Scottsdale rd.
That being said these are the people that are giving drivers a bad name. These are the people that are giving the riders a sense that if you talk to them about using another app they feel like we're try to scam them.
Yup. And that's what they bank on: scaring drivers away from the "guaranteed rides" of the airport queue. They don't know neighborhoods and areas like we do, so they hope someone lands and just wants a ride bad enough to not care if the person speaks English or not. That's just being real.
