The scary part about that is in my market (Vegas) TNC does frequent stings. They’re ordering rides and trapping people. Automatic tow and a fine of $500 up to 25K! I’m still pulling them occasionally but man is it tricky. I know someone personally that got put on the cruiser,fined and vehicle towed at the main valet Resorts World. Beware they’re out here. Embarrassing situation.

Since applying your conversion techniques my profits are way up with a sedan. However, last night I received the infamous account suspension threat from Lyft. The threat will not work on me though. Congratulations to you on this new level of success! You deserve it my man!
These apps wants to control the narrative. They have to give competitive rates to riders, just like any other business. They have to give us competitive pay, just like any other job. When they dont wanna compete and simply want to THREATEN US to keep us in poverty, I say fck em. We take the matters into our own hands by getting our money. They can raise up our rates, but they don't. They could charge riders LESS, but they dont.
There is a lot of room for negotiation if you want to be paid more. Keep it up, brotha!
When you accept a ride out of the app. Make sure to turn the app off & close it. To make an effort to avoid any consequences from them.

One thing i dont do on rideshare is drive 10 minutes to pick up a rider. The rider has to be 5 minutes away from me. And if i am generous and going in a certain direction to get me home then i am willing to drive 7 or 8 minutes away to pick them up.
That's how I drive. I don't do long distance pickups.
My limit is 3 miles which is usually around 7 minutes
Uber did me the same thing when I added my 2023 Durango to the platform. I stop that shit right away and started doing cash 💵 rides in that vehicle only.
The only way to do it at a level that's worth it to ourselves. Cash and help the riders get to where they gotta go.

Welcome, Jamequa! We are able to contract with anyone needing a ride, whether it be a family member needing a ride to an event, a neighbor, or someone that just knows someone. Lotta people think the apps own their car, but we gotta realize WE OWN THE CARS. We say what goes, period. If they dont wanna pay us fair percentages, then we do the rides on our own and we get 100% of what we charge.

I scouted tonight and only did 3 rides on the apps. All pings, but I need to figure out what they're doing. They're throwing me Black rides, but I think they're selling me as a Black SUV to riders. They're trying to play me with the rates. I just feel it. I don't trust em. I'm gonna get into a rhythm and understand it soon.
Thats about right! 75-85 per hour min on Uber Black or Premier. Big Trucks make big money until Uber and Lyft get greedy. Black XL is not the same as Uber Xl.

@xray174 just happened to me today. I converted it to a Venmo ride for $20. I wasn't doing 4 miles for $7 to the airport. I got $20. Done deal.

That's what I did. I got motivated by Jamil and a few private drivers to start working on my client list. Them HUM came along and opened the door WIDE open for me. I had to go this route to pull clients into my own database, if possible. I don't wanna rely on an app that has stated in court they can deactivate drivers for NO REASON AT ALL.

Yup. That's why I bought a black SUV. I plan on doing less rides and less hours. I did 3hrs on the Lyft app for $197. That's my plan...less rides and less time on the road. My cash rides are running me around $120/hr on average.
I had Uber black BMW 5 series in LA. LAX to Irvine - 45 min. Uber X paid $35 but Uber black paid me $190 plus $60 tip.

I have an XL LYFT sent me a ride for $9.00 to the grocery store I quickly declined it they never tip and can take up to an additional half an hour loading and unloading groceries.

If I assess that my rider should have ordered an XL, but I also had X selected, Uber will always pay me less and then lie to customer and tell customer that XL is 13 minutes away, but X is only 6 minutes away! I'm both and only 6 minutes away! Rider screenshot the rider app and showed me because I was the only vehicle in the area! So instead of offering any riders in my area, the opportunity to have an XL, when I'm not on X, uber will simply tell riders there is no car available, and I can be sitting on the XL only and not get any rides at all. So the rider will call the taxi in area, and I think they are using the uber app somehow, also. 🤷🏼♀️
On one ride I disputed with Support to upgrade rider to XL, they complied. They were only going to pay me $4.95 for that trip and charge my customer $60! Remember that??!! They ended up paying me over $42, I think, and there was an option in my app to upgrade from x to xl. I can't find that option now, anywhere in my app. Maybe someone inside at Uber is hoping another lawsuit is filed against Uber, for PRICE FIXING NOW. 🧐
In two other requests to upgrade to XL, one with a Big Dog - non-service animal, going crazy all over my seats, jumping from trunk to back seat and back again, with residentially challenged pet handler, only having dog for two months, reeking, intoxicated and rude upon getting in my car, I should have cancelled. But I contacted account owner and told him there would be an adjustment for Uber XL and he agreed. Uber refused to process my request!!
And the other non-service animal request was a flat out lie by account holder requesting ride for someone I thought would fall under the ADA guidelines, but it turned out to be an XL needed for a loaded shopping car and an electronic toy dog out of the WOOF brand box, no batteries installed yet, sitting in the cart upper seat, which ride was ordered by "Guest R." for a man with a hoodie, cane and "service animal," (circumventing ADA regs). Support refused to upgrade from X to XL, telling me, "XL is for when you pickup 5 people." 🤬

Lyft black demand is good feom 6 to 9pm. Slows down until 11pm and picks up to about 130am
I'm sorta seeing that Black moves in waves. It's literally dead to where I had to turn on XL and COMFORT just to get pings. I'm learning how it works in my area, as there are a ton of XL drivers to the point where no one is requesting a Black car. You're right. I'm' learning, tho!

Uber offered me $33.58(w/$4.25 surge) for a 24 miles to Red Rock Resort from the airport🤦🏾♂️🖕🏾I won’t take anything under $4 per mile. On an average they’ve been sending me $1.75-$2.75 per mile.

They have you on XL only because it’s on what they call personal account. You need to contact them to convert your account to a black account but then they ask for a lot of paperwork such as credentials and insurance
Yup. I don't drive Uber that much tho. If you're on my membership page, you know why. I get paid more doing it my way than doing it on Uber Black or Lyft Black. Trust me when I tell you, these apps don't pay me what I make on my own.
Wow can't believe how bad your rates are. XL for you is .90 and .99 cents per mile. Out here its 2.81 base and 1.73 a mile. Your base for X is .30 and .61 a mile while mine is 1.13 and 1.06 a mile in one area and 1.50 and .83 in another. This is on Lyft not Uber. At least your Black SUV is 10.62 base and 2.10 a mile

Private rides will make you more than the apps will. That's all you need to realize. Work on those clients.
Having that truck changes the game. After a while you don’t even need the apps. Especially if you have a chauffeur license. Crazy Uber doesn’t have that nice truck as a premier XL.
You see the plan! I wanna be off these apps and having the money come DIRECTLY to me. No tip needed when I'm getting the FULL FARE in my hand instead of a percentage of what the apps got paid to slave me out. I see it worse at this level, honestly. I can change Uber Black SUV rates just by looking at the screen. I'm not even ON Uber Black, but I get Uber Black rates by opening my mouth. That's the power of a driver.
@@MicDropBBQ yes I literally built my client list down here in Miami from Uber and Lyft. it even gets overwhelming sometimes because these people really be wanting those rides I set my rates at about $70-$120 an hour depending if there’s an event. And then I also have consistent clients where I pick up their kids and stuff like that. I’ll do like $50 for one way trips that live close to me. I lived in the downtown Brickell area of Miami so it’s constantly booming 2k a week minimum. And that’s with 3-4 days off.

Here is what Ive been noticing I work in a college town with UFD a week ago Uber is lowballing what they are charging the riders I quoted trips from Clemson to Asheville, NC Ive done that trip for the same as Uber will charge normally $110, today Uber is charging $81 to go 80 miles Clemson to GSP a week ago $65-$70 now $48 its a 45-50 mile trip why. It always says on the app fares are lower than usual if that's the case then this needs to be the floor, not this adjustment shit where they rip people off one week, the next week they lowball the hell out of charging riders. Also I get it its expensive right now to live but its also expensive to maintain my car I won't WORK FOR FREE! I AM NOT A SLAVE you are going to pay me, or you are going to pay me.
Its very hard to convert rides when Uber is charging $8-$10 and Im getting $6-$7 it makes it difficult to make any profits, I am speaking up if I try to convert a $3-$4 ride to $6 because its usually mi to them and .5-1.5 to the destination, & Ive been successful on a couple of conversions
Only way I survived was surge and short trips. They are killing margins on rides to where you gotta use tactics to make money outside of what the algorithm is trying to do.

I take XL and Comfort and double the amount to get a cash ride out of it. You're bypassing good cash if you're not on those tiers. Riders are paying. I did a $60 comfort ride for 19 miles. Came thru the app as $27. I said $50. They gave me $60.
Even Black wouldn't have paid me $60 for 19 miles that night. They were paying $45 and 50 for those distances.
Be sharp and don't rely on the app to set your price. Riders are paying...on all tiers.

Incorrect. Black commercial insurance is only for Uber Black. My commercial insurance on HUM is $30 per month. That's not a typo. If you're not new to my page, then you're aware of what I pay for commercial insurance each day. I pay $1/day. No bullshit. Check my videos.

As long as riders are paying for rides, what the apps are paying me doesn't matter. If I don't like the price in my face, I accept the ride..cancel...get what I want thru Venmo or Cashapp.

When you get a chance, ask a customer what they pay on their App. I believe they pay a different price than what our app shows.

My local Uber black rides always paid at least $40 for a short ride, HUNDRED dollars or more for 1 hr ride. Once did a short airport ride for 20 min. Got $60, plus $20 tip in app, plus $20 cash tip - BOOM - $100 in 20 min. Dont take $20 black rides.

The dealership filled it up on Thursday before I picked it up. I drove Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. I'm still at over a quarter of a tank with 133 miles til empty. This tank can last FOUR DAYS!! My BMW was like 2 to 3 days. I drive less and make more now. Gas mileage says 17 and 22, but I'm just parked and not moving, so the fuel only moved on my $400 private trip with Jamil, for real. The rest of the time, I'm sitting and scouting pings to see how this tier works.
@@MicDropBBQ that's the biggest thing to remember. Cost to operate vs the car is probably going to be about 30% more... But if you can double gross you're still doing much better.

I’m currently stuck on UberX in the process of rebuilding my credit after a bad business partnership / investment and trying to obtain a nice SUV to start my own black car service. It feels so degrading picking up passengers and hearing how much they pay Uber and finding out I’m getting less than 50% of the fare.
As soon as I have the vehicle and commercial insurance I’m stealing as many passengers as I can from Uber. They are THIEVES! Last week I had a passenger pay $90 for a non-surge fare, I was paid $30 😂
Not a single passenger I’ve discussed pricing with has been in favor of Uber! Those thieves are going to price themselves out of business.
We already convert those. I been doing cash rides since I was 15yrs old and I didn't get commercial insurance til this past February. I know how to drive. Haha! Shit don't stress me out to drive a car without insurance. I just make sure I get paid and riders aren't paying $90 and I only get $30. Nope. I will take $75 and we make a deal on the spot. Save them some money and makes me more outta the deal.

I’d rather keep my head down until the proper opportunity presents itself and I can run a legal functioning business - My days of trying to short cut and break laws and rules for quick money are over. It can be profitable and come in fast but it can be gone 10x faster and put you into a deeper hole than when you started
