Is it insane that you expose how corrupt these platforms are, squeezing riders to the MAX, and then to fix the corruption, some Drivers actually look to their riders who are ALREADY getting COOKED to further tip?! They get outraged at the crooked system and they take it out on their riders! Insane!

Thank you Leeeeeeeeeead Attorney! I'm always checking you out brotha. But yes, definitely a lot of antitrust and corruption going on, but you know Tony West is running legal at Uber...and that's Kamala's brother in law. Uber knew what they were doing when they hired him on from the Justice Dept.
And you're right; we can't expect riders to TIP after they already paid too much! They're killing our local economies and we can't keep any money in our communities like they did on Black Wall Street, where the dollar circulated the community for up to 21 days. Now, the dollar is gone from our communities within 24hrs because of corporations that use TECH to rip us off!
Appreciate you stopping by, brotha. Glad to know you even watch. I'm always on your lives cracking up! LOL!

@@MicDropBBQ I pay $150 for Uber Black XLs to go 16 miles (25 min) to the airport in Atlanta. I would LOVE for drivers to convert me lol! I’ve only had one guy try by giving me his business card, but I’ve never had any driver propose your offer. Honestly, the initiative should be on you drivers to make the offer because (1) we don’t know how much you get out of the $150, but we think it must be a lot if you continue to take riders, and (2) we are just trying to get to the airport fast, and if you get offended by the offer bc you're a company man and cancel the trip, then we could be late to the airport, which is the LAST thing we want as riders. But I would LOVE to give a driver $110 cash for 16 miles instead of $150 plus tip! Uber is absolutely cooking us riders lol.

Lately, down here in the Rio Grande Valley (TX) I've been noticing that Lyft is charging the riders the same amount they were charging around this same time last year BUT us drivers are getting less than half of what the riders are paying. For lift, I've been cherrypicking the rides that I accept because if Lyft isn't willing to pay me for all the wear and tear I'm putting on my car, I'm like "F the passenger! They can beat feet!". It's already bad enough Lyft won't give us a FIFO queue at the busiest airport of the three in the area and they rarely give bonuses at said airport. As a result, my acceptance rate has fallen to 4% because in our area, the most lucrative paying rides come from the airport but without an airport queue, we get flooded with trip requests asking us to drive 10-12 miles away to pick up a passenger and drop them off 2 miles from the pickup. To Hell with that!

Even when I was corporate, I just didn't fit in with the greed and the sneakiness of the shit always going on. But instead, they're letting the drivers make a little money for the hour, and then shutting them down until the times up, and then letting them back on later once that time period is up so they don't make too much money.

They did this for surge, too. The surge would be showing out on the tarmac but vehicle can't go out on tarmac plus no planes were coming in to that airport at that time. I don't know if you understand the channel this is, but this is what we say over here: 1) Riders don't have to tip you unless they want to, and 2) The apps are charging so much that the riders can't afford to tip anymore. I said that in my LAST two videos back, I think. You have to come watch the content to realize what room you just walked into. We don't "force tip" around here, just because we want more money out of the transaction.
If you want more money, CONVERT THE RIDE. That's the kinda channel this is. We don't harp on riders because they are not in control of the tips, as they tips are usually stolen when they DO pay - so you think they didn't give you one. We all use CASHAPP and VENMO QR CODES in our cars, and that's how riders tip if they want to.
So, shutting off your app is just money out of your pocket. A driver like me will ride up to that SAME area you dont wanna work in because somebody didn't give you $5, and I'll make $40 cash rides on an offer than was $22 on the app. That's the kinda channel this is. New York Uber drivers did it to themselves. They're the ones that wanted to have a minimum wage. Would it be fair for Uber to be forced to allow every person in New York to be an Uber driver and every one of them be on at the exact same time? And everybody decides to work just whenever they want to work so at 2:00 p.m. on a Tuesday or Wednesday you have 5 million drivers when you obviously would not need that many. But Uber still has to pay a minimum rate. You can't say well Uber's a multi billion dollar company they should just take money from another market and give it to New York drivers. That's not fair for the rest of the drivers that should be earning more money also.
Of course they're doing it to gas cars more than they are EV cars. Uber stated goal is all electric by 2030 or something like that. Further incentivize drivers to switch to EV by saying if you want to work we're only doing ev now. And they paid EV cars more anyways. Is there a problem with that? Of course not. Uber wants to do a business model where it's all electric despite how stupid that model is they should do things that encourage people to drive EVs.

Well, technically we're not hired. We're active on the apps, but we don't really work everyday. Drivers like me have Uber, but don't use it that much. Active hours is for pigeons that stay driving for 75hrs our of 84hrs online. That's crazy. If people didnt take TRASH and used their active hours to make more profits, the apps wouldn't be so eager to keep these pigeons online and the apps would pay higher by dropping trash rides. Yet, we have too many pigeons being active.
We still drive, but we drive offline and with private clients that pay. People are paying well, but the apps are paying drivers TRASH. And the rides are more expensive, but the paysouts are worse and worse.
