YOUR support helps keep me going forward in this industry. Without the support, I'd be driving more and spending time editing these videos much less! I know the HATE will come at me from all angles, especially from the drivers who KNOW they are doing other drivers wrong in this industry with the scams they are pulling at our airports

Good video brotha. I try to catch you on here when I can. That black suv will open a lot of doors for your business. We dont even have the black options here. One of my private clients a few weeks ago told me that i need to charge more. It was 4 of them and i charged $45 each way. I always let my clients pay at the end of their ride. They asked the total at the end and I said $90. Thats when they were saying when they go to ATL, they pay $250 for a 40 min ride in a black SUV. I explained this is memphis 😂 . So, instead of $90, they paid $170 to me. But, they always pay extra, most of my clients do. They said they appreciate the professional service. I usually pick up private clients in my Honda pilot because it seats 8 adults comfortably. Again, keep up the good work, bro.
When clients appreciate you, they're not gonna take advantage of you. These apps don't appreciate drivers, which is why the employees, execs, and staff at these apps take advantage of drivers as much as they can. They dont want those people paying us directly, because we could get our own benefits, retirement plans, insurance, etc. We wouldn't need the apps to find us rides because WORD OF MOUTH is amazing, especially when clients go, "...hey, use our driver. Great personality and clean car!"
That is what Uber is scared of: people staying people and communicating back and forth. They want TECH to replace us, and they're always gonna have pigeon drivers fighting for TECH before they fight for a driver like you. Keep making it work out there, brotha! That's an amazing bump in pay...that's SUPER SURGE right there! Uber ain't got nothing on that...from $90 to $170!
@@MicDropBBQI know hum when it comes to every market it will be quite a number of years after 2030 that they will have pings at all times of day like uber and lyft do now because every company takes time to pick off the ground and it does not happen overnight
Since I been doing black rides, I dress different now, talk different, I’m more sharp when it comes to thinking…i appreciate it so much…I am new person now, I thank god so much for it
What's funny is I dress the same but I wear this hat. No bullshit. I wear the driver hat and people love it. Same t-shirts and shorts. Same great conversation tho. I meet a lot of attorneys and corporate folks, so we talk shop. Being retired corporate, they love the stories I got abiut casino financials and all the stuff we did. We die laughing! Hahaha!
But talking about retirement from corporate makes them happy to see that there is life after corporate. Black car service has so many corporate folks, so I fit right in with the conversation.
My corporate client last night (like 130am pickup for airport) told me to bill him a little extra because of the late pickup. I was like, "...that's fine", and his company paid the invoice at 745am thru Square this morning. Corporate is a solid play for private!
People that always take Uber black 9 times out of 10 they rather have you has a private driver regularly
Same with Lyft Black, in my experience with the Expedition Max. I've gotten so many Black rides - with some videos actually in my membership group only because I recorded the conversation - and I literally get private clients the moment they get my card and find out I do rides if they just text me. I've got regulars that pay me more than the app would pay, and that's the whole point of doing it this way: getting your worth!!
@@MicDropBBQ Uber black Lyft black same thing, i ment black cars in general….when I say Uber black sometimes i ment lyft black lol..both black cars platform people always looking for private drivers
I be catching myself saying Uber Black in videos all the time, so I get it! 🤣😆😅 I have a screen saying Lyft, but my mind saying Uber. Hahahaha
@@MicDropBBQ We all know what you mean brother. Maybe work on just calling it black car service. But either way keep up the good work. I really enjoy listening to your videos while driving to passengers or in between rides.
@@Will_Bx_NYC_718 Yeah, that's what I'll start calling it to make it easier: black car service. Trying to remember what app I'm on and whether I'm converting based on tiers and all that is confusing after a while. LOL! But you see the screens and it's not like I'm lying. I'm just mixing up the words. hahahaha! But I do my best to throw some logic as to what I'm doing and WHY I'm driving a certain way...and the conversion videos are literally wins and losses with how we do around here. I dont mind showing my loss because I keep it real.
Happy as hell to see that someone pitched you on the business. That's where it's at. Effortless Power J Watts.
I'm saying! And he's a car buff, so you know we about to have some great chats while I do work for him. I used to do mechanic work on Aston Martins and Bentleys, so no telling if he might call me outta retirement to help save him a few grand from the dealership. I'll be back working on cars and doing private rides to the airport. Hahaha
We are independent contractors that can negotiate any price. We want in the marketplace open market.
Jeff when speaking to Waymos please use their proper nouns… which is “pieces of shit!” That’s what I called them when I see them 🤣🤣🤣

In Florida is already pricing like that from Christmas. 15$ per hour or 18$, 20$ when is busy, that's how the algorithm is working. It's impossible to make more than that because the algorithm will always prices around 15$ per hour. They just send me a 4.62$ ride for a total time of 19 minutes. And the fuck..ing pigeons accept everything. Rideshare in Florida is over, the pigeons destroyed it.
I'd be looking for short rides and doing em for $10-15/each. No way I'm doing rides all summer for $4!! These apps are out of their minds.
Cash rides.. we been saying that for months already!!!CASHHHH RIDESSSS!!!!
Yessir!! @nicolas12730 The quick little rides I did for my man Kyle, he would've paid Uber or Lyft around $10-12 for those rides and I would've gotten $4-5 because they were so short. Instead, he just paid me $20 round-trip and didn't have to worry about a tip. This is how we help each other in our community. And he lives near me, so he'll be hitting me up for rides quite often, he said. I just did a quick Lyft ride for him the other night (didn't convert, and I had the Black truck). I had a surge, so I took the ride for $12 and him and his girl were like, "...damn, this is nice!! What did we choose?" LOL!
I dropped down to basic to use my surge on a short ride. That's how they got me. LOL! Now he's my private client!! I picked him up in the BMW yesterday tho because I wasn't putting that big ass bus in traffic during the day! LOL! The Bimmer be getting thru traffic a lot easier!

Some people like smelly cars and having Cheerios sticking to their cloths at the end of the ride. Let them have it.
Just finished my shift near Sydney.
Been driving for 2 weeks. Experimenting.
It’s harder than it looks.
I don’t live in a good zone, and I know now that I must go to better areas and drive where the highest trends are.
Maybe get more surge rates, however I still want to throw my business cards at worthy locals in my area. 😎🍺🥪
Making profits and taking smart rides is a science. There's a way to do this and to not go in the hole versus just being out there doing it. I agree. It'll test your business skills, for sure! Good luck out there and always bounce ideas off of drivers here in the comments or on the livestream chats. This is what we do: we help each other sustain ourselves better than the apps will help you. Trust me!
Now more than ever is definitely time to elevate our game on private rides
Yup. And so many out there realize corporate is controlling our lives, willing to help us sustain our business. Amazing how REAL LIFE people will say, "...I want you to make the money, not the apps", but you see all these weird employee-looking comments on CZcams. These folks want to change the narrative on CZcams to keep drivers on the plantation. We are freeing them from the Matrix!
Before the pandemic they did the same thing with Uber and Lyft drivers. They were locked out unless it was busy or they did so many rides in a week to unlock their account. Uber then said it was because too many drivers. The taxi and rideshare went head to head about it and the taxi drivers were getting pushed out by rideshare drivers. Now there are regulations on how to get a tlc permit. I definitely wouldn’t want to live in a place I couldn’t work and make a living to pay my bills. To be told to go somewhere else is crazy. I like working in Long Island but I’m sure that will affect me now going down there and turning in my apps.
They did this on purpose by letting a ton of illegals have multiple accounts. Uber isn't stupid (for the most part). They realize that all of these phones in ONE location that are always around each other are owned by the same driver. Common sense in the algorithm will show that these devices are next to each other more than they're not, so that should flag the system that there's a scheme going on with PHONES and not with having a lot of drivers in the area. These are all devices used to jam up the system.
If drivers aren't going private, they're gonna get scammed out of logistics, and uber doesn't care because they can pay them less and not have to worry much about it.
💯
Those AZ rates starting to look like our Orlando rides for the last 6 years
Wayyyyyy too low! This is why converting is necessary. Ain't no.way I'm taking that loss of opportunity to make more, to drive that far for less than $40, then have to come back on dead miles. These are all great for converting and getting the full amount directly.
Converting rides is the only way! I love doing it and it's so much easier.
That's independent contracting! You are providing a service and a NICE car, so you can apply a value to what you feel you're worth. If the rider feels the same, that's a deal!
Jeff had the same thing happen with me. Took women to hospital . She was sick as can be, ended up pissing all over my back seat and spit puke 🤮 all over the floor. Sent Uber receipt date and vin of car to Uber after I cleaned and paid . I received all the same messages BS!
They don't pay for damages, and then don't pay much for these rides. Private rides help cover business. These app rides are shit, and not worth much of our time at these levels.
Another unnamed Ride Share stiffed me on a food spill. Colossal mess. When I bugged the Ride Share company I was grounded for an anonymous " discriminatory comment". See how it works.
Again, very informative content Jeff, keep up the good 👍 work! 💪🏻💪🏻
Some people are taking logistics seriously. Some are staying on the plantation and thinking they're more secure there. It's understandable, as so many people think working for a company means the company will never fold and it will always be in business. It's W2 mentality thinking, "...I need money, so let me go find a job."
We're from the world of, "...I am the job."
That missed flight got your cash flow looking right
Yessir! That's exactly how we do: we show up and do the service that Uber and Lyft would be trying to get paid on. They wanna get paid on OUR work...on OUR vehicle...all because they have an APP? That's taxing people. That's all fees. We get past that and do something where we get the benefits of being the driver that's out in these streets doing the job.
@@MicDropBBQ oh yeah great move
Been doing black for a year w Tesla MY. The customers are way better. I tried doing UberX w the 1st Tesla I bought 2 yrs ago and those pax were not grateful and downright jealous SOBs. Never use Lux Black on ordinary rides. I regularly see the same pax use Black making it easy to convert or refer to our other biz’ here in Vegas ✨
I didn't wanna say it. LOL! You said it, tho. I swear I do my best to be understanding to folks' plights and how people move, but these $19 paying mfkas will act like they're YOUR boss and the car belongs to them. They try to put their feet up and everything. I've told so many girls to get their feet off my center console....and these are the LOW TIER riders doing this shit, like they never been outside before.
We already dont get much of the fare, and then they wanna sit up there and be like, "...can we stop here to get something real quick?" No tip. No appreciation. That's why I will convert low tier rides or pull off. I will not give them a deal, then they say NO and still get a chance to ride. Nope. They gotta get out and wait on another driver.
Now, if somebody is sliding me $100 to do a quick trip, by all means they have paid for a certain privilege and they can eat a snack in my car. I have time to clean it, being that they paid me $100 and I don't have to do a million puppy-mill rides just to make $100.
By the time you and all the other drivers in AZ are done passengers won’t even remember who Uber and Lyft are! 😂😂
LMAOOOOOOO!! That's the plan! Snag a private driver and don't worry about the apps sending some RANDOM, BUSTED car with a stranger that just started driving part-time to pay for the car parts he needs. LOL!
Thank you, love the t shirt
🙏 thank you!! Always simple and to the point!
3:27 yep old tactics to skip the que I've done it a few times 😂uber no longer matches closest driver so quit doing that years ago 😂

LMAOOOOOOO!!! Homeless people be caught on Waymo cameras hitting em with hammers LOL
Normal issue in chicago not just airport residential I had it. So yes it’s a mistake to pickup make you appear ask to change but it’s 20 miles away with lyft
They "add a stop" or change the destination and pay less...and the driver gets like $0.50/mile for it
3:26 yeah it sounds like you’re speculating
Clearly I am, if I didn't set up the ride. If I knew for 100%, then you can say I know so much about it, I probably did it myself. LOL!
Lately I've been seeing rides like that $3 ride where a rider puts in a short trip. I have a screenshot of a $3.50 trip (Uber charging them $8.98) where the rider just wants to go just 0.2 miles, very suspicious! The rider hopes a driver accepts it, then they'll tell them they need to go somewhere else or make additional stops. The rider thinks they can get a discounted ride. I saw this and I messaged the rider and told them I can't do that and that they ought to go ride a bus for $2, rider eventually canceled after I made them wait 30 minutes for wasting my time and got the $4 cancelation fee, LOL!
🤣😅😆 for that price for that distance, they need to pay the driver $10 cash just for us driving to em and giving up the opportunity to make more doing another ride. $3? Nope. Doubt it. There's a $25 ride waiting just a block away.
I can confirm this, I’m an NYC suburbs driver and part of Facebook group based in the area. nd many NYC TLC guys have posted screen shots of them not being able to work. Uber wants these drivers to go to the suburbs to drive because we only make $0.71 a mile and not $1.41 a mile. Also Lyft is not imposing these fake TLC rules on drivers at all.
We gotta talk more about this on a livestream. Im.trying to get Mary on but she is usually driving when I'm on a live. Maybe you can come on and break it all down. It's crazy!! They trying to pull something funny, like you said: go to an area if lower paying rides so they can profit more on our backs!
Anyone Driving for $0.71 cents a mile means you’re doing charity work. That only covers operating costs. Painful truth, but there are no profits at all to be squeezed from that lemon. No profits=slavery.
@@timetowakeup6302 The brain power just aint there when I see drivers out here doing rides for less than a dollar, not even considering NO PROFITS for months on end. The ultimate breaking point will be a car repair that just sits them down for months, working a W2 to fix it JUST to get back to working rideshare. Either that, or taking out a loan just to fix a car. This is a business, and they're not running it like a business. They're doing it as a JOB.
@@MicDropBBQI’ll see what I can do because I also work a full time regular job as well. But it’s such BS what Uber is doing. They’ll want them to work in the suburbs which pay a lot less, and then they won’t be able to take rides in the city. The issue is 2 fold because then it overloads the amount t of drivers in the suburbs which is already over saturated due to not needing all the licenses and qualifications to drive in NYC. Also once we drop off in the city we aren’t allowed to even take fares going back to the suburbs. We have to go back totally empty. My only solution to this is to take a ride to JFK airport, and then drive 5 minutes to king island and work out there.
@@timetowakeup6302you’re correct it’s BS, but that’s the rates. Which why I only drive part time and during surge times. Or if they’re offering a decent ride bonus. But I have a full time job so the low pay doesn’t affect me too much.
I caught a ride with a 5star uber driver so during the ride I was thinking in my head I bet this fucker is taking every ride not making no money just like what Jeff was talking about😂😂.
🤣😅😆 I know drivers out there logging 200 miles day to make $200, and we logging 60 miles to make $200. I can't see myself driving like I used to. The game has changed.
Be careful never under estimate the power of greed, it a complete sickness.
Too much of anything is not good for you. Greed is literally the act of unnecessary over-indulgence in any capacity, and you're right; it's a problem.
They need to do that shit in orlando with these migrants! 🤷♂️
Orlando most of the drivers are from Venezuela!
@simonmhamdi2955 the apps are doing that all by design, to force American drives back to W2s. Paying drivers so little on these rides is clearly a mission, and illegals are their target workforce.
@@MicDropBBQyou know it. As a pax I have never had a native driver in Florida with the exception of Key West. And 9/10 the quality of the ride doesn't compare to my Prius V, CR-V, Odyssey or even Civic. They don't know how to keep scents acceptable they always too too much and wrong flavor. And cars be dirty most of the time. As drivers we need to provide the best service in every aspect and hand almost every pax our business card with a QRcode that brings up our number. Best to have a picture of us standing by our vehicle(s). In the town where I live we get so many calls we have to refer to other local, like minded drivers. Always someone available to give 💯 service when they need it.

@MicDropBBQ correct!
Jeff put yourself in Deras`s shoes. If he can get drivers to drive for 60 cents a mile, and they are taking them why will you want to pay them $2 a mile???? I do not take anything Under $2 a mile even If I will not work all day. but I do get many rides of $2 and up a mile. Maybe they know I will not do them if it is not the right price.
Dara knows desperate drivers are out there. Illegals are out there. They are driving the market, so we fight back with cash rides. We can't ask them to raise fares, like you said. Too many pigeons flocking to the popcorn being thrown on the ground. 🍿 🐦
That's what's up!
Jeff you are the 💣 proud of you
Thanks Ed! Hey, we all out here trying to make it work for each other. We're the industry of rideshare, no tech necessary if we get it right. Stack profits and get out own policies going. Nothing stopping that!
Great content!
🙏 thank you. We keep it pushing over here!! Not slowing down and not letting them play us for fools! Stay independent and work for yourself!
Uber has a cap on your income. They just only want to make it $20 an hour(Uber x& comfort) or whatever it is in your city. I don’t know about Lyft. I deleted my Lyft Driver app because somebody lit a cigarette in my car and they said it’s OK it’s normal. We ain’t gonna give you no money for that.
I would have kept Lyft on your phone. Each time they send you a ride, convert it. Lyft is a good app for leads. Put it back on your phone and USE THOSE LEADS!! Those are potential private clients.
I have a screenshot of uber telling me I can't tip $25 I tag uber on instagram they message me saying they want to look into it lol
Wow! I wonder why they say that!
For what it's worth, rideshare is the only industry where the pay went down after the pandemic.
I just quit my corporate job and went back to rideshare here in Vegas. Man oh man, was I in for a surprise.
Most rides are in $4-$5 range, especially here on a strip. On paper looks like a decent ride: $5 for 1.5 miles. But you once you factor that it takes you about 20 minutes to complete it, it averages to $15 an hour. A 15 mile trip 2 years ago would get you around $16. Now you're lucky if you get $11-$12.
Still remembering the market though. So far that I learned is don't take strip rides and nature hikes. Once I get a feel for the price, I will start converting the riders.
I usually do a ride or two every few hours without converting to see the going rate on conversions. When events hit, it's almost automatic conversion from UberX/XL and Lyft Basic/Comfort/XL. I will only do a Black ride IF the pay is really high. But most of the time, the riders are charged between $8 to $20/mile for the event rides and we're being paid $3 - 5/mile.
For daily rides, you gotta scout and see what the market rate is.
I usually make $40 plus per hour.. THE CLUE IS CASH RIDES LIKE JEFF been mentioned for months!!!!
Cash rides my friends!!!!!
@nicolas12730 And when people realize they pay LESS per day in commercial insurance but make MORE per day doing cash rides, they'll see that converting cash rides and HAVING COVERAGE is an option that they can always choose. The app insurance is expensive per ride, whereas your own policy would be so much cheaper and have lower deductibles.
People need to weigh their options, but ONE option I'm not gonna do is 100% app rides. Hell no. I'm not being sold like a slave every time I open my car door. If the apps aren't willing to negotiate, then I will negotiate for myself. Fck that. And with that money, BUILD YOUR BUSINESS RIGHT! The apps will not help you build your business, and they will FEE you to death!
Good for you man ! Good to see the gig workers getting smart and fighting back and getting their worth
Hey brother I live and used to be able to go online and do UberEats in the Bronx and I could never go online in the Bronx anymore. They make us schedule times we want to work in the Bx one week ahead of time. I do also see an influx of what I believe to be illegals that came from the border also doing eats on mopeds and ebikes at all hours of the day. It's just not right!
Yup. I did a video about what's going on in NY about a week ago on my channel. Check my RECENTLY UPLOADED content playlist. We talk about that crap. Man, Uber and Lyft are playing drivers!
Illegals taking it all here. All the delivery guys, clean up guys, Big Box Store delivery guys, construction helpers.....all the jobs gone. Underground to illegals.
Lyft & Uber are always trash during the summer in most regions. Folks gotta start switching their hustle and strategy up for the summer. Every summer gotta be prepared for the drought. Everything private nowadays and really working on your own business and not depending the apps at all. Gotta set yourself up for success. Almost mandatory to covert rides
Facts. The apps are in a chase to keep their revenues growing, and Dara already said they are decreasing driver incentives and paying drivers LESS to create more corporate profits. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to see what he saying: Uber is gonna charge the same OR MORE for rides, and we're paying drivers as little as possible to increase our margins.
When he said that, I knew that DRIVER profits are now on the drivers. If we sit back and let them dictate our prices and FIX our rates, we are not contracting. We're employed without benefits, pretty much. Get on the conversion game or get left in the dust. No other way around it. Rideshare is not paying what it used to, and it never will. We gotta pay ourselves.
They lie like hell, the ins they take avg over a dollar a mile, if you tale all the trips they send u it will add up to 1600 miles a week or more, they act like ins cost them 7k a month? yeh 84,000 a year per full time driver for ins lol
Upselling insurance is their business model! Yup! Raking in the dough when drivers could have their own insurance!
Hi Jeff, I’m new to your channel. What car are you using for black? And which BMW do you have? Would you recommend using a 2017-2021 bmw 330e plug in hybrid?
I've got playlists on my channel showing all of my vehicles..inching the motorcycle. BMW 3s are small, with limited trunk space. Keep that in mind
I blame regulators
The laws are there for us. Rideshare has very little regulation, which should be in a free market. Yet, the apps tend to skirt the laws and try to get around doing legit business that actually benefits workers/drivers. This is why the courts are stepping in. I agree with you that regulators were too lax in these giant corporations, and now shit is outta hand.
Jeff, Why is Lyft telling you that you are getting an "estimated .88 cents per mile?"
I saw that on the ride you did not accept for $11 something.
They put the mile estimate on each trip now. I guess they heard me say "Why don't they put the mileage calculations on the upfront fares." 😂🤣😆🤣
Mfkas at the office like: "...SAY LESS!" HAHA
People are addicted to the phone people can’t do basic shit anymore without a phone
LMAOOOOOOOOO! Facts! When you try to talk to someone about the transaction and they are like, "...well, I just do it thru the app.", that shows they may have limited critical thinking skills. If they saved $20/ride - and they do that 10 times per month - that's $200/month they saved...which is like having 2 or 3 free phones all month...all year long. Saving money on logistics will add up...and it will only help the community the money stays in. Corporate couldn't care less about the communities they affect.
@@MicDropBBQ corporate wants to control communities
Dude 😳 Uber's pricing the rides at practically free to try to phase us out. Luckily i think its causing drivers to not come out at all
That might be it. Nobody willing to drive for pennies, and we convert. But with it so low, conversions are not worth it. I did a Black SUV last night and the guy paid $81. I got $50. All of the XL rides on Lyft were jokes, and I did a couple of base rides that had surge. I may go out tonight but it's early in the month. Folks got mortgage due.
@@MicDropBBQ the base is dropped a ton here but during "surge time" it's back to normal. There's usually up to 9 other driver's. I was one of three. They're looking for drivers that don't know math. Drivers that just accept whatever without questioning the business. Questions lead to exposing them for what they are: scheming and scamming, losing lawsuits left and right.
I already have 4 private clients 😎
Waymo spying on you my man..lol
Using them cameras against me! LOL!
Since we are contractor's are there any government contracts we could sign for to have business 2 business deliveries? What do you think?
Yes. You can contract to do packages from one place to another. People do it all the time in their private cars. You have to contact that agency you wanna do business with and see what their requirements are. Most government businesses will pay via check or transfer, not cash or Cashapp. Therefore, you have to do all of their documentation as a contractor to do business with them.
I have been cancelling all the medical transport rides because I can't convert them because they are pre paid.
I do ZERO medical transport rides. Not worth the money they offer. Paying drivers $11 when they are reimbursed $125 for the ride. Doubt it.
Lmfao stupid waymo 😢😢 we gotta pop their tires !!!!! What if they hit us ?? How we gonna get insurance card from self driving cars nobody inside 😢
Uber is barely charging the pax over a dollar a mile now in my market, un fkn real
Uber is playing games. They are charging SOME riders a low price, but not all. They will show in the app that a rider paid $36, but the rider really paid $60 if you ask them. They are doing this to throw off cash rides and how drivers use the apps to get an estimate of what to charge riders. It's coming to the point where drivers need to just state their price and if the rider paid less, they'll say it. But if they paid more, they'll agree to the price you just quoted them.
@@MicDropBBQ i agree, only trouble im having is uber only gives me sht runs and very few, very hard to convert someone that is a ahole to start with, if i get some normal people im on it!
@@MicDropBBQ i have to leave this shthole state
I've lived in about 5 states in my life. I've always went to where my career/opportunities gave me the life I deserved living.
@@MicDropBBQ I'd be oiut of hee if I could afford to move, going to be living in my car at this rate lol
Yesterday when my Uber pull up i tell him listen uber taking $23 for this how about u cancel and i give you the whole $23 lol yeah uber days are mumbers lol
LMAOOOOOO! Way to help the community! This is what more drivers need to do, because I already know if I need a driver to pick me up, we're using HUM or I'm giving them Cashapp on the spot...same as you did! The apps wanna get rid of us? Well, we can play that game right back. WE HAVE THE KEYS!
@MicDropBBQ lol these drivers don't have to convert me ill convert them lets show them they can make real money instead of being pegions lol
LMAOOOOOO!! You're the Pigeon Exorcist! LOL! Get that PIGEON outta they soul! LOL! Make they head spin around and puke out some popcorn! LOL!
@MicDropBBQ they're going to throw up when the next uber order come in $4 for 7 miles but I just get $18 from That guy for 6miles lol
So the waymos can just pull up anywhere and pick ppl up?
Yup. They block the whole street based on where the ping is. They don't pull up to an area to let traffic thru. They will hold up 50 cars and not care. Hahaha!
@@MicDropBBQ that’s wild and they be tripping on us picking ppl up and dropping off
Jeff, didn’t you say like previously? It ain’t about 20 people a day it’s about 20 people a year. Did you just get that?
Yes indeedy!!! LOL! If you want QUALITY, you gotta go for it. I'm not trying to drive 20 to 60 people everyday, for $8/ride on average. Nope. I can do 4 to 5 per day at $40/ride and call it good. I can increase my average in the truck to around $60 to $80 per ride and not waste time in these street risking my car. The less rides you do, the less risk you take. Keep the cars parked til money is there worth driving for. All these $4 rides will have you paying a huge insurance deductible that you ain't even saved up to pay for.
We on it, Meg! We are not playing!
@@MicDropBBQ i don’t have time for all these girls with $8 rides
Groups of 4 and 5 girls...all looking for the cheapest way around town. LOL! Last I checked, NIKE was a cheap way....so was Reebok...ADIDAS...Sketcher...LOL
@@MicDropBBQ that’s right but what i mean Jeff is that I’m single and with average of $8 rides, i’m the only one that pays bills what else do have time to do besides work
@meghanlong3494 true. Make them $8/rides turn into $12-15 rides. No need to rely on tips for short trips. Just make em all a little more.
Single life ain't that bad. But you were engaged, right? Or was that just dating? Life goes on and you'll bounce back into the ring without losing a step.
Check this out, Jeff. Had a perfect ride I would try to convert.. paying me 22 dollars to go 25 miles ( normally they would be paying 45 to 55 dollars). He told me he only was charged 27 dollars ( I could not believe it). I checked and he was correct ( I was getting 81% and Uber 18%).1 was trying to get 50 but he only paid 27. They really lowballing ( isn't Uber shooting themselves in the foot because they are making less? )
Yup. They are undercutting cash ride prices right now. That's why I've done ONE Uber ride in the last few days. I've done more Lyft and cash rides than Uber rides. Uber knows what the market is doing: we're competing. Many drivers are realizing we are contractors and are not falling for the shit anymore. The apps are aware, so they are retaining customers by charging less, making conversions less reasonable for a rider.
Put them on HUM and explain why. That's my solution. Let them know we can leave them on the app and do a rate adjustment, but if he's paying $27 with a $5 tip, he's really paying $32 total. We want the $32 total.
I can't figure out anything Lyft is doing ! There paying me more than what they're charging the rider .
@roxiebenesch348 really. I have not done Lyft in months. I may have to start again due to this game uber is playing
That is smart to create scheduled rides at the airport to be bumped up in the cue!
Why would the New York Airport care about who is picking up who at the airport?
Someone puked in my car I never got compensated.
Not smart. Do you know how many accidents happen in these airports? Imagine setting up a fake ride and then smashing your car in those compacted terminals. 🤣😅😆 Literally self-imploding tactics to cheat the system. The airports are super congested, so I only go early AM or late night when cars are limited. Those fools can't drive!
@@MicDropBBQ Man, You know I was being sarcastic.
Yo that happen to me last weekend In South Carolina
We are independent contractors that can negotiate any price. We want in the marketplace open market.
That's contractor language, brotha! We do this for our own business. Too many drivers think they are UBER DRIVERS, when they are just a driver using Uber technology to get leads on rides.
