Ay Jeff I made some business cards today stating that I’m a private Uber/Lyft driver! I’m tired of these apps doing is like this! I couldn’t take it anymore, I had to take matters into my own hands. All cash rides/converted rides going forward! If you not with me then you against me & im cancelling if a passenger would rather make a company rich that does nothing for them when we are the ones actually helping them, driving them, accommodating them with A/C etc. I’m done with these apps. The other day they charged a lady $97 for a ride about 1 hour & 20 minutes away knowing I gotta drive back with no fare the whole way making the trip 2 hours & 40 minutes round trip for just $43 while they sit in an office & collect the real money off our back! I’m happy I found you big bro! I appreciate the motivation to take matters into my own hands! I’m forever grateful 💯💪🏾
FIGHT BACK! Speak up for your worth. This is how we do it. If someone doesn't value us and ALLOWS a tech company to enslave us with low pay, they can stand on the curb and wait for another driver. We're not having it. At some point, all these pigeon drivers will be broke with busted cars, not being able to afford renting them, and they'll start to battle TOO LATE in the game. We are fight now, ahead of the curve. We aren't not gonna allow these lazy ass tech-nerds to sit at some laptop and SELL US like slaves for $95...then pay us $40 out of it.
If the ride is worth $95, we deserve a larger cut. If it's all fees, then BE HONEST and tell the rider: "...this ride is only $40, but we're gonna charge you $95 for it because we made some bad corporate moves and you guys need to pay for our bad choices."
That's all it is. Bad choices they made, and drivers are bailing them out. Now, we allow riders to pay us straight. We ain't bailing out SHIT. We have to bail ourselves out of debt and keep ourselves in business. The apps have spoken, and now we're speaking back.

Appreciate you, Josh! I said I was gonna use my platform to put money in driver's pockets and to help families. I wasn't lying. I may not be making a lot right now, but they can't take us all down at once. Some of us are gonna win, as long as we battle back in ALL WAYS POSSIBLE. I got word that a lot of people who applied actually got refunds calculated. That's crazy because nobody is telling drivers about this money, man! I heard about it and knew I had to get my circle paid! That's why I wanted him on the podcast so bad! I knew he would help us out!
Since i worked thru the pandemic except for two weeks I'm qualified for $140 as a refund.

Harbor Freight manual tire changer. They only sell one. Super easy to use and it's portable and can be taken anywhere if you put in on a pallet. I have mine bolted into the garage floor, but I can take the bolts out and move it out of the way when I don't need it.

Very welcome, Loza! If we don't have the courage to stand up, these apps see weakness. A lot of channels have too much app-fear to realize WE ARE NOT EMPLOYEES of these apps. We are the drivers with the keys. They are just tech. They need us. We dont need them. If they dont pay us, we go get paid in other way. Yet, they can't use their tech to do anything if the riders choose us over the tech.
