Thanks Jeff I been saying this about the immigrants for a long time. Uber loves them because they work for less and CAN NOT complain because they are illegal. The immigrants have a mirror app where one main guy stays in airport never leaves sends out the call that they hack thru android phones and iPad, to 5 or 6 drivers that can not get approved thru UBER that do rides for them they get 75 % of the fare... Uber has cut the pay again the last month with this advantage driver coming up July 15th and get 5 % increase if you 4.85 stars 25% accept rate and less than 8 % cancel trying to get Uber drivers to take more BS rides. Someone needs to get Trump to back Uber drivers... CEO Dara is Backing Biden and Anthony West(Uber top Lawyer) is Kamila Harris Brother in Law.

Uber is a criminal organization that allows their tech to be used for crime by drivers. This is they entire play, as anyone who thinks Uber is straight-up and legit is fooled. They steal tips, especially if they aren't left while the rider and driver phones aren't located ear each other.

Jeff, I'm an immigrant myself and I've been saying since I first arrived here that mass migration is going to doom this country. I am glad that more and more people are starting to wake up.
I used to live in South Carolina in a relatively small tourist town, and even back in 2017 there were neighborhoods inhabited by different ethnic immigrant groups. This apartment complex of about 150 units where I lived was inhabited exclusively by people from Uzbekistan. And just like you described, every time I would come back home they would always look at me as to "who tf is this mfker". They wouldn't assimilate. Most of them wouldn't even speak english. When I would bring it up to my American friends, they would always think that I was some far right conspiracy nutter.
In way we should thank Biden for this, since it was his disastrous policies that led to the max influx of illegals have opened the eyes of so many people. Imagine if the illegal immigration would fly under the radar, like under previous administrations. In 30-40 years Americans would have been a minority in their own country. Sadly, something similar is happening in wester Europe, but unlike here there is no major pushback.

    • @MicDropBBQ
      @MicDropBBQ  Před 2 měsíci +1

Many immigrants who legally came here knew they were coming to another country (America) that already had traditions and customs. That's just like if I moved to China; I couldn't get there and make China turn into America just to please me. But we get folks that move here and won't assimilate, like you said. They come and think America has to turn into THEIR country, but they left their country because they either couldn't make it or didn't like it. So WHY would they want to turn America into something that CLEARLY didn't work out for them? Makes no logical sense.
They come here and do the same shit that didn't work in their own country. It's like a cancer, going around ruining good organs and turning them into cancerous organs. When you have people that go around damaging "better" countries and make them turn into the same crime-ridden countries they just like, they should've just stayed where they were. Why ruin a country that's trying to MAKE PROGRESS by taking them backwards into ways that didn't work? Shit just makes no sense.
And these same illegals get upset when we call it what it is, because we see what they don't see. They don't even realize THEY tore their countries up, and now they're here trying to pull that shit on us. It's not gonna work. Americans will stand up, and they'll be called RACIST just for standing for our home and not letting someone tear our shit up.

      @@MicDropBBQ preach Jeff, preach!
The reason people don't change is because we are creatures of habit. One of the hardest things to do in life is to break a bad habit. Hence why most people tend to be stuck and miserable.
These illegals are used to skirting the law because thats how most 3rd world countries operate. They always bribe someone, scam someone or just flat out ignore any government rules or regulations, because the law enforcement is either non-existent or bribable.
So naturally they bring that bullcrap other here and "test the waters" to see how much bullshit they can get away with. Normally the law enforcement would clamp down on them. However due to the absolute tsunami of illegals coming in and the defund the police movement, our country is struggling right now.
Hopefully Trump keeps true to his promise and does the biggest deportation operation in US history.

TBH though it's not about the President. It's about local and state lobbyists. You can have all the illegal immigrants you want. But the apps allow these loopholes in their apps and lobby the local and state politicians to keep the laws friendlies. Why do you think Uber and Lyft lobby against finger prints of drivers. Why does Uber allow tax numbers used instead of SSN numbers.
President even Congress can't really do anything unless they attack the oligopoly of ride share.
Local and State govnt regulate their transportation.
Illegal immigration is 1 problem but the apps and their loopholes and their phony security regulations is a separate problem that can actually be solved.
This is because the apps remove all humans from the entire process. Everything is algorithm or computer or tech or Ai and even normal non tech skilled people will be able to learn the loopholes to scam them.
Uber doesn't want loopholes closed because they make money not just from the illegals but the Fbi does bust the ring leaders and Uber sues them for their assets.
So Uber makes money directly from illegals on their apps and then sue the ringleaders for their assets. Getting money coming and going.

Jeff, how many times have you had the app send you to the wrong pickup or drop off spot? I've had it tell me the wrong address more times than I can count. It very well may be the rider putting the wrong information in, but I'll never know because if it is their fault they don't admit it. These apps probably aren't super friendly towards blind riders, who possibly have to use voice recognition to enter the information. You know how reliable voice texting is, probably works just as well for entering a destination. Yes, the driver probably dropped her off where he was told to. No, he didn't care, may not have been able to understand the issue because of a language barrier (around here that's HUGE), and damn sure didn't go the extra mile to make sure his rider was safe. I always tell riders "your safety is my main concern" if they tell me "no, just drop me off here I'll walk into the complex" or something like that. Nope, I'll take you to your door to be sure you get there safely.
Possibly one reason I have an 80% tip rate, going that extra mile for my riders. Sadly, the ones you really bend over backwards for either don't tip or Uber steals the tip.

I get more clients that want to use me again because of drivers like this. They fear getting a driver that doesn't give a shit, and they are paying Uber a LOT OF MONEY for a service. Yet, the driver ain't getting shit, so most low-paid drivers will stay strictly app and fight thru a week of working a ton of hours. The clients that feel like the apps aren't worth the money will pay a driver directly to keep that driver around. That's what I've noticed in the 5yrs of doing this. Drivers like this guy probably bought the account and couldn't care less about anyone. He's running the car for max trips and probably on someone else's account being told where to be.

I've had passengers put in the wrong address before... I haven't once, not one time dropped them off at the place they put in.
Especially not a blind person. Gonna kick that lady out and tell her good luck.
Bro I get it. I don't want to baby sit passengers and have to take them all inside somewhere, but honestly it only happens once every few weeks and maybe twice in one week at the most.
And I have literally walked a lady in her front door, unlocked it for her because she couldn't see good enough to find the right key. Helped her in the door, and then picked her wheelchair up and brought it inside to help her get in it.
Waste of a lot of time and nothing I get paid extra for. But at the same time I wouldn't want someone to roll up in front of my house, tell me to get out and have a great day when I can't hardly get around.

    • @MicDropBBQ
      @MicDropBBQ  Před 2 měsíci +1

I usually get destinations that say 0.5 or whatever, which means they put the pickup as the destination. I usually have them cashapp me and we'll just cancel the ride. But for the ones that actually go, "...shit, I put my cousin's house...I like like 10 miles further.", I have them pay me on the spot. Throw me $20-30 and we'll be good. They usually do. I always give an option other than "get out".
I did do a video a long time ago where a couple used SHARED (I was in the Jeep) and it was for like a mile. When they told me they put the wrong address and they needed to go way West, I knew it was a game. I told them they could pay me cash. They told me to just let them out at the store a few blocks down. I ENDED the ride, not canceled. Got like $4 for two blocks. LOL! I give folks options.

I told her I would contact support & voice her concern. Granted I was supposed to pick a rider up in Mesa & drop in Gilbert. I first started a chat box with support and then I was told I would receive a phone call from safety team. When I got the call someone with an oriental accent came on. When I explained the situation he acted like it was no big deal. So I said don't you see the possible safety concern? He was like what do you mean? I said someone has access to a number that doesn't belong to them and they're getting a ride that can't be tracked backed to them, which could be setting a driver up for potential harm to them. If this lady hadn't called me and canceled the ride I could be in danger right now & you're acting like it's no big deal. You need to treat this with some importance until you find out it's not.

Yup. Go read the Wired article that just dropped. Google Priscila the mafia queen of ride share.
Creating thousands of bogus accounts every month. She was a 20-30 something illegal Brazilian immigrant not some criminal mastermind.
But she found out every loophole and scam to get around all these gig apps.
This is why gig apps fight fingerprints. They lobby against it. Cause it requires actually getting something done from the DMV in real life and getting a proper security screening.
Gig apps run background checks on bogus info so of course it passes.
If they required finger printing then it's in person at local govnt installations. Your fake documents won't work there in person. Your fake SSN ain't gonna work. And now they got you and your fingerprints.
And if they constantly had to verify fingerprints instead of face. And 1 account per fingerprint.
All of a sudden the gig apps are secure. They can't limit a face to 1 account so you can have the same face on multiple accounts if all the documents are bogus.

They are paying tons of 3rd party fees to the point where the employees are making more than the driver, and the driver is the one doing the work an the care of these riders.
