skip cart is useless in pittsburgh the only offer i ever seen was 7 11 on n craig st
Skipcart has the worst driver experiences.
They assign drivers who are closer to the pickup. If no one is available in that zone, they will send someone to pick up 30 mins away, and it could be you. They can also cancel or reassign you on the way to pick up or not. If business forgot to give you something to that delivery, then skipcart can call you and ask you to go back to pick up the remaining items and throw a few extra dollars on your pay

Immaturity and app saturation is everywhere because all these new startup companies think they can jump the wagon of AI gold rush and apply a hit & run strategy
No one is talking these apps bcuz theyâre not in very many markets
Yeah I get it, but at least it gets it on our radar. A lot of these you can still sign up on the wait list. Some companies have expanded quite quickly in the past (Lime, Cargo/Uber, Shipt)
Skipcart says it'll be in my market "soon". Hope I'm first in line.
And movers who work for a company usually earn well over $50/hour, have a CDL and are licensed and bonded through their company. If you dropped & broke someoneâs heirloom you could be sued otherwise.
@@helenaroman1543 very true!! I read in excruciating detail the terms of service for a particular delivery app which made me the driver wholly responsible.
I decided not to accept the offer to drive with them.
Skip cart is definitely a plus in the Virginia Beach area mostly 7-11 runs that are always ready on time
Very cool. Iâm always excited to see people doing videos that live in Pittsburghđ Thatâs my hometown city but I live in San Diego now.đŻ
Yay in my areađ. Thanks Mike
Glad to get you some options, the catering platforms I mentioned are worth a try as well (DeliverThat, Dlivrd)
Good Stuff †It
Most definitely would like to learn more. I highly appreciate your work.
Glad to help! Lots more to come
I actually just applied for a job and they're in California and they did say in the training about your tips let them know all about that before you even leave. You have to let them know about this before you finish your job
Jitsu 2.9% + 30 cent processing fee sounds like they're passing along the credit card merchant fees to the driver.
That's what I thought, had to read that a few times. Is that...even allowed? I don't think so? Am I missing something?
@@YourDriverMike Why shouldn't it be? Why should they eat it?
It's like restaurants having to pay payroll taxes on tips.
Those boxes are heavy. Its the Hello Fresh meal kits and very time consuming. Itâs not quick. I delivered over 26 packages and have not done it since. They are now taking out fees to pay you. Nope!!
thanks for info
I'm in a small marketplace (Cheyenne Wyoming) but will see if any of these 6 are here. Thanks, Mike!đ
Glad to help!
A warning for Dolly, the app is more or less workable, but it is buggy. There was a point where a guy I work with on the platform wasnât paid for over a month due to some technical issue, and I wasnât for a week or so as well. Both of us got the appropriate pay when it was taken care of, but it did happen.
Jitsu is not in PITTSBURGH PA
What's out here in Allentown
I'm thinking whether I want to do it or not but I'm tripping on the tip part if you get a $30 tip it's yours
Just applied to every single one. None are looking for work in my area... if you live in Cali get wrekd I guess.
In Michigan skipcart is very slow
I've never seen a order in Mi
Dumpling also charges the same fee or about that, for tips. this covers the credit card fees.
Figured it was similar to processing fees. Theyâre allowed to do that on tips? I mean maybe if clearly disclosed?
Hey Mike. Maybe you should do a video on things not to do that could get you deactivated especially if you are a content creator.
Thanks for sharing. As long as you follow TOS for gig platforms you should be good. Keep in mind you may be classified as an "at will" independent contractor and could be deactivated at any time. I'm not an expert on legalities and intricacies of that though. Also remember these companies want you on their platforms so they don't want to deactivate you unless you violate their TOS.
@@YourDriverMike oh I do my best. It seems like some content creators have gotten out of hand and the gig companies have had to rap them across the knuckles
Thoughts about rover?
Not a bad gig, but do not set your rates too low even when others might. Only time you should do that is to get some initial clients/reviews but then raise them to market value (or above if you're experienced). Remember the commute time to the client, time at the house then driving back.
What about being a mobile notary ive never heard you talk about that aide hustle.
It's awful now. So competitive and you have to print out huge documents and get all dressed up.
Because I've never heard of that haha thanks for the heads up!
Only if you a Notary Signing Agent. Specific concentration in real estate. $400+ for test, commission, renewal. Must know Notary law for your state. Lots to learn. And while I am a veteran, I am not getting many requests. The newbies screw up and don't care. â@@lorenamcgovern
Anything for your Toronto viewers
I can research Canada-specific gigs, can't remember any off the top of my head but I know there's some delivery platforms etc.
No other apps for drivers only what about us seniors and non drivers
Actually working on another video that has new apps that donât require consistent driving. Stay tuned! Should be out tomorrow or Monday
Have you thought about mystery shopping? I know a lady in her 60s, making good money. Thereâs no age discrimination, which makes my heart happy for seniors. You can do it online as well. That way you wonât have to drive.
Downloaded the app and tried to sign up. They are full but donât even put you on a waiting list. Bummer you canât get on a list.
Jitzu was the one I was trying for âŠohhh well keep it in mind
That's okay, check out my 2024 rankings guide for free (www.yourdrivermike.com/bundle). Over 50 side hustles to choose from, I'll add these ones on in the coming weeks.
Skip cart been in my area for a long time but just these last few months they have died off barely sending offers anymore đą
Hope it doesnât go under like Point Pickup. Loved that app but they never got the order volume
@@YourDriverMike to be honest they definitely seem like they are in my area. I did one order yesterday for $9. Thatâs it đ€Šđœââïž
skipcart is very dead in Tampa. Been like 5 weeks since I've had a ping at all.
Most of these apps are not in my area
Same here.
Keep any ones youâre interested in on your radar. I have some that arenât in Pittsburgh that I signed up for just so they have me on the waitlist
Everyone has a plan until delivering for Axlehiređ
Bunjii. yeah $45 an hour delivering 2,000lbs of tile or flooring and unloading it by hand
45 paid......450 to the chiropractor
Here's my video on Bungii: czcams.com/video/i-oAc-D4WXE/video.html&t yeah I would hope the site has a forklift and it's just palletized but regardless you're suppose to help with loading and unloading. The pay is great but yes lots of labor. Give me a back brace and some good gloves and I'd try it. I'd imagine lots of cement bags, tile, flooring etc
Look at that it was approved that's your tip they have no business I wouldn't I was going to not finish the application. How did Uber about 10 years ago and I got this $8 tip it was more than the order
Steady is also under construction and not doing anything. Just FYI
Correct!
Is it Purple in app?
I thought you said Ju Jitsu!
Teaching...Ju Jitsu? That could be another side hustle đ€
Is any in Mississippi
Waiting list :(
Which app?
@@YourDriverMike jitsu and skipcart
Meh
Angie is one of the worst ones. You have to pay for leads
