Elvis... There was a life without Priscilla.. with priscilla... and again without... So it was a 3 part story.. and maybe 4 part.. : of being Elvis before being famous and just a kid... without responsabilties and just enjoying life... But After priscilla there was just the stage to keep Elvis occupied.. I bet he missed his social life of being married and coming home to a family... I bet the guy was heart broken after Priscilla left.. And used drugs not only to perform but also as esacapism from bad feelings as described above.. This 1 woman had profound effect on Elvis during and after being together... I bet this woman was the only woman he really loved.. in mind and soul. And probably Priscilla same... Life sucks and then u die.

I believe d they loved Elvis. Know Elvis most of their lives. But they were torn between being a friend and an employee. I saw this video, it’s very good. Some harsh reality here. But in know way dimmish es my feelings for Elvis. He was human. Which means at times he was selfish spoiled, arrogant, some marriages broke up because of the boys 24/7 on call duties. Which I don’t think was always necessary. Marriage break ups were not all Elvis, s fault, but that lifestyle didn’t help. The good side is the best of Elvis. We all have a hidden dark side somewhere. I don’t think Elvis ever really wanted family, I mean husband , wife responsibilities. I think he always wanted to be free. But he married, he kept his word to Priscilla s parents. I believe Elvis loved Priscilla. But she practically grew up with him. So I can see at times when he took her for granted. That’s not an easy life for spouses. Despite the fringe benefits.

I was 17 yrs old. First time you could hear drums and backup singers and band at same time, instead of out of sink. It was a million dollar performance. I'm awash in memories of Elvis. He kept repeating to each of us as he was driven around the dome, shaking hands with us, "Thanks so much for coming to see me, thank you so much!". Humble, sincere, talented, and just awsome. Thanks for sharing this!
Col. Parker should never have worked a man so hard like he did. He was greedy to fulfill his gambling addiction. These guys were in a hard spot. You either tell the truth to Elvis and get fired or you go along with it and watch him burn out and die. Not even the young musicians today could keep a schedule like Elvis did. It literally takes drugs to do that. The human body just can't take that kind of stress. These guys all loved Elvis till the end. RIP guys.
