Absolutely brilliant. Well paced. Music is fantastic too. I love the way the keyboard builds intensity as elvis meets the senator on the plane. zooms in nicely. the story is excellent. i found it suspenseful and dramatic. Bravo
Saw the movie "Elvis '68 Comeback" last night with my son. Seeing it on the big screen was like seeing it for the first time. It brought back so many memories.
I'm with you. In the theater where I saw it, the audience applauded several times especially after the "I'm Saved" number. The blooper reel that followed was great, nobody left the theater until the lights came up. TCB
Wow...I just realized now the senator on the plane was the classic Hollywood film star George Murphy...he was such a down to earth type of guy...very affable...he’s the one that inspired Ronald Reagan to pursue politics...I could imagine the conversation between him and Elvis.

I truly believe Elvis was working with Nixon from back in those days I remember them well drugs were free and every where the Vietnam Nam war should have never happened and a lot of other things and I can very well believe that Elvis gave that Vietnam Nam Vet his last 500 dollars do I think he died absolutly not I really don't but who knows I hope he is happy and well where ever he may be
Thank you! I just found it odd, Elvis leaving Graceland by himself and ending up on a plane, and then calling Jerry .. I have watched all of Elvis movies, all the videos, listen to him in all the interviews, between him and the guys. Priscilla and Lisa. Elvis will always be round for generations to come. For his music and being who he was, he built the road and for years it has just kept expanding. His legacy will stay ALIVE until the world ends. One day I will make it to Graceland. It is on my Bucket list. :)
