  • STOP THE INSANITY. When the photographer talks about "sun hitting the image in the doorway" - where was his location when looking at the photos for the first time in 4 years? Outside someplace? Was he looking at the photos at the kitchen table where sunlight beamed through a window miraculously revealing the image of Elvis? When I take out old photos, I usually look at them INSIDE by the light of a lamp. I don't go outside to look at old photos.
Check out the original photo from the composite as seen in this video. The original composite print photos (not zoomed in or blown up) were taken from the meditation garden across the length of the pool - about 30 YARDS AWAY! Each of the photos in the composite is 1.5" X 1" - think about that! You need more than sunlight to see a man sitting behind the door in a composite photo taken from that distance. You need a magnifying glass!
Try your own experiment using a larger image such as a standard 3x5 print of same composite print in this video. Shine sunlight on it. See Elvis, or anything resembling a man sitting in a chair? I've done it. The original composite print seen in this video does not have an image on it. Hoax.

Because the the family wouldnt want that especially if the Family hoaxed his death and someone in the military found out about it, that could have been jailtime. Graceland at the time was a very private place and what better and opportune time for Elvis or his Fam to fake his death behind closed doors at Graceland. I also believe the body in the casket wasnt him but a wax model.. I think hes dead now but was alive for many years after 77.

@@vengesinner8100 I'm kinda thinking the same thing. You can find a CZcams video where Priscilla and Lisa are talking about Elvis and its a few years after 1977.I think the show was Oprah but im not 100% sure; but she is talking and just as smooth a butter she says "the other day he said that" she realises very quickly and says Oh..Yea and has a odd look on her face. That and the coffin photo are kinda odd to me. I don't really care if he did, honestly, I kinda hope he did so he could have a few years with a somewhat normal life without the whole planet dying to just look at him.
In the movie Elvis snd Me, there was scene where Elvis went to Priscilla's house. I know after his Dad Priscilla would be the only person he would trust. I'm sure it was no big issue to fake his death and only a couple of people knowing. After Graceland was turned into a Museum, I heard that his room was one of the rooms that was off limits. Any way, I don't know for sure but I kinda think he did fake it and if he did..good for him🤷‍♀️

I was there in June 1978 and my daughter had crossed under the rope that was to block the angel statue that they had removed from the cemetery. It hadn’t been placed, so they had it roped off. I went to get her and I saw this person sitting inside looking out it was very close just almost like this picture and when I got my 2yr old back across the rope I told my husband that I saw Elvis sitting close to the door, he tried to see but the person had moved.

Yes it hasn’t been tampered with. Do they attest that the image appears in the negative? Not mentioned. Has this guy ever shown the negative to prove the image is in the negative like it is in the photo? I’m guessing no.

There wasn't photoshop program no, but there at that time you can easily fake photos by reusing the old film and taking a photo of the top of it. It was common back then, and it made for some weird and odd looking arrifacts on the photo print. You could make ghost photos etc.

What I always thought was interesting, was Gail Brewer Giorgio putting out her book Is Elvis Alive. She had a lot of press for a few weeks and was causing quite a buzz. Then, as fast as it happened, she was gone. We haven’t heard from her since. The guy who took the “pool photo” changed his tune on Larry Kong’s CNN show. He contradicted everything he said in the full interview from the snippet that is on this video. If Elvis faked his death, was a “witness protection program” thing? Was the guy who took that pool pic paid to change his story, and was Gail paid hush money to let this whole thing go in hopes that people would lose interest in the story took make it more likely that people would not spot Elvis after the government has gone to great lengths to hide him?

I looked into all this when I read Gail Brewer Giorgio's book Is Elvis Alive. I even ordered the FBI file on Elvis. Most of it is blacked out but the stuff about his airplane repair is in there and how some people tried to scam him. This was around 1989 or 1990 that I Looked into this stuff. I had found and got a subscription to a newsletter that someone was putting out and in there someone had written about silk flowers that someone kept putting at Gladys' old grave. I went there and found the grave site and sure enough there were silk flowers there. Apparently there was a life insurance policy that was never cashed in. Lots of weird anomalies. Elvis was said to have signed his own death certificate but I can't vouch for that since I'm no handwriting expert. The book came with a cassette tape of someone that sounded just like Elvis singing and on there he is singing the Eddie Rabbit song "I Love A Rainy Night". During the song he stops singing and says " I just heard that President Reagan was shot". May not be the exact words but close. All I can say is that there seemed to be more proof that he faked his death than there is proof of his actual passing. There is also a book called "The Presley Arrangement" where the author (can't remember his name off hand. Just remembered. I think it's Monte Nicholson) claims to have seen Elvis getting into a helicopter the day he supposedly died and he was wearing a DEA jacket. This author was supposed to be a detective. It was written as fiction but read between the lines. Then there was this journalist (can't recall her name either) that found out Elvis was staying at this place in Kalamazoo and actually met and talked to him there. All this stuff is so long ago, it strains my memory to remember it all. Then there is the psychologist Dr. Hinton who wrote a book about having treated Elvis who went by the name Jesse. Then there was the singer named Orion who some believed was Elvis wearing a mask. This one I can vouch for. Orion was Jimmy Ellis and he was not Elvis but did sing very much like Elvis and he wasn't an impersonator. His voice was natural. I got to know Orion somewhat. Went to his shows in the 90s and got to hang around with him and his other fans who he let get close. I have reason to believe that Orion was Elvis' half brother. He looked a lot like Vernon. Orion Jimmy Ellis is on YT for anyone who wants to check him out. Note: Lots of other Orion things on YT so add Jimmy Ellis with Orion to find him or go to the channel by
Barb Delawder and/or Alex Moes. They uploaded a lot of Orion's songs.

I remember seeing this interview in 1987 during the ten year anniversary of his death. I was creeped out, even after watching this video, I had that same creeped out feeling from 33 years ago. After watching this video, I just came to realize that the image in this picture, could be an apparition of a ghost. The ghost of Elvis. I never noticed the the hand waving before and when you are talking about a reflection of the gate in the window mistaken for wall paper especially since the bars of the gate is behind him, plus the amount of space of where the person is sitting. Very good points you had in this video. 👍

Let me state this, back around 1982, a friend of mine had taken a trip with me and my mother to see family, me and her had taken photos on a back country road, when the photo's were developed one came out as an overlap, it was the strangest thing I'd ever seen, the photo was of me and her overlapped in the photo, like a ghostly appearance, it was botched from a negative, so what I'm saying is that man could had taken a photo of Elvis in a picture at Graceland on a wall or on a table and it overlapped with the photo he took of the door, he didn't state if he did take shots of Elvis in picture's on the wall or anywhere else at Graceland or outside of Graceland, don't know if he gave it any thought. Maybe Kodak didn't catch that. Just a thought.

I believe the door had been taken off of the house for some reason and was standing up in the pool house against the wall and Elvis was sitting in a chair in front of it looking out the door. If the door had been installed you would not have seem all the white wooden door frame around the inside door. It would have been covered by the black metal door frame.

In point 1 the man talks about the sun hitting the image on the day he was studying the picture, not the day he took the picture. In point 2 the bars behind "Elvis" are the security bars on the gate, then why are they behind him? If the security gate was closed as it seems to be in the picture thenthe bars would also be in front of "Elvis" not behind him. To me it looks like a picture or charcoal drawing of ELvis and his chimp was imposed in some way or in the photo or in the pool house. If Elvis did fake his own death, he did it for a good reason and as he was into so much secret stuff, he wouldn't have been stupid and put everything at risk. As for his daughter when she was asked a question about her dad by Larry King, she couldn't answer and said she preferred not to answer the question, leaving people with the doubt that he is alive and she knows he is. All I want to say is that if Elvis had wanted to continue being a superstar he would have, if he is alive and living in secrecy then that is his choice andno one has the right to persue, stalk, pester or bring any sort of grief or disturbance to him. If he is in fact dead, then the world will jst have to accept it and let him finally rest in peace after nearly 37yrs.

Kathy, I have been researching his death for years, just like a lot of other Elvis freaks out there. There is ALOT more evidence that he LIVED, than evidence that he died. The so called evidence that he died, is all BS. SO many lies and inconsistencies. Don't make fun of people until you've done years of HOMEWORK! If there was ANYONE in the world who could've pulled it off, it would be Elvis.

which proves they were not tampered with. During my career as an investigator in law enforcement, I had to deal with film and negatives on my job. There were occasions that our photos were challenged in court, so we always had to retain the negatives and on occasion would have to contact Kodak to verify similar information. Negatives can also be tampered with but there is always evidence of tampering that is left behind.

I have given a lot of consideration before posting this text comment about Elvis,
whether he is alive or not. I ASK YOU TO PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ
IT IN IT'S ENTIRITY and then please respond with what you think! I am posting it on numerous links and videos.
I originally went to college majoring in music education. Then I became a Fire Chief,
Police Officer, and Minister, pretty much all at the same time. I am retired / disabled on the job now and life has gone full circle and I am back dabbling in music. I say this only to let you know my opinions come from an analytical perspective from various backgrounds.
I am a HUGE Elvis fan. I must admit that there are many strange and unexplainable events surrounding his death, from ones that appear to be plausible to some of the most bizarre and stupid theories I've ever heard. One time while I was in Nashville I decided to go over to Memphis and tour Graceland as I had never been there before. It was a fantastic experience. I've always figured that if the grave marker is ever corrected then I'll know.
THE MAIN POINT OF THIS POST IS THIS: If Elvis did fake his death it was either because he HAD TO or just WANTED TO! Basically, to me, it comes down to RESPECT and HONOR. It's alright to wonder. We all love a good mystery. But when that mystery becomes an obsession that is when it can be dangerous. If he HAD to fake his death then any or all the theories could be hazarding Elvis himself. If he just WANTED TO then
that's his business and we should respect that. It's not like hecould have ever retired! None of us can appreciate the great stresses that go with being the most famous and loved entertainer in the world. I feel that we as fans should respect his choice or situation.
And, if in fact he did die on 16 Aug. 1977 then all of this is a mute point except for any pain it may be causing the family, and I certainly don't want that! THAT'S MY OPINION, WHAT'S YOURS?
p.s. - Elvis, if you are still alive it would be the honor of my life to actually meet you! May God Bless you wherever you are! :)

Good points into Elvis' possible psychology, Bill. However, I find it impossible to believe that 2 or more people can keep a secret for 40 years, especially about Elvis. In other words, Elvis could not have done it alone. Sooner or later, somebody talks.

Once back in the early 80s as a telephone repair man for Bell, and about five years ago on a VIP tour. I seem to recall that room would allow someone to be sitting in a chair in that manner. Al Strada DOES/DID resemble Elvis, except Al had an afro. I could see that being Al. I've always been of the belief that Elvis in fact did pass away in August of '77. What I'm NOT sure of is Elvis' burial. We are told he was moved from Forest Hills Cemetery in October of '77 due to grave robbing attempts, and that Gladys was moved with him. The placement of Elvis and Gladys at Graceland has been in question being that Elvis was not placed directly next to Gladys. My belief is that Elvis MAY still be in the crypt at Forest Hills, and we were TOLD he and Gladys were moved. I think it's possible that's the real "hoax". The grave markers for the family in Meditation Garden are cenotaphs and Elvis and family are in the crypt still.
That makes better sense so that other family can then be inturred there. I don't for a fact, but when Lisa goes, she may well want to be with her father, grandfather, and grandmother and Great Grandmother...all of whom are said to be buried at Graceland. There's no more room at Meditation Gardens for another Intermnet.
I dunno....that last part is strictly speculation. I have no clue what Lisa's wishes are in regards to that, but it certainly makes sense.
It makes sense to me too however, that Elvis and family are entombed still at Forest Hill Cemetery in that little room in unmarked crypts. It's all speculation, but who really knows? All I know with relative certainty is that Elvis Presley's physical being left us in August of 1977.

Why hasn't this Al Strada ever come forward and said he was the guy in the pool house back then? Why was he still at Graceland after Elvis died? Was he still working for the Presley Estate then? I thought Vernon Presley fired all these guys. I do think this picture does look more like Al Strada than Elvis. It seems like his hair is shorter. But still there are questions about this old picture.

    • @ElvisPresleyWorldwide
      @ElvisPresleyWorldwide  Před 7 lety +1

Strada worked for Vernon until the renovations on the annex were finished (for Vernon to live in), that's why many people say it was Strada. Joe Esposito even said it was Strada on Larry King but he appeared on the same show with Gail Brewer Georgio the author of Is Elvis Alive and Mike Joseph the photographer of the photo in question. I believe Joseph was given a cease and desist order by the family, that's why you don't hear from him anymore, and instead of saying it was a hoax so Joseph could avoid prosecution - Strada was used as a scapegoat. But it clearly DOES NOT look like Strada. It looks like Elvis circa 1970. The question everybody should be asking themselves is - Why is he waving? It's all nonsense.

Maybe I'm wrong but I think the photographer (Mr Joseph) was saying that it was a sunny day when he took the photos out 4 years after taking them - when suddenly - the sunlight "hit the photo in such a way as to reveal the image". Here's my question: Did he get out the photos and go outside to look at them? That's not what I would do. I'd get out the photos and turn on the lights to look at them. My point is I think the guy doctored the photo and made this shit up.

Well that I already knew. The real question that needs to be asked by all those who believe Elvis is still alive and use this photo as proof, is why would Elvis who everyone claimed was a prisoner of his own fame, fake his own death and still keep living at Graceland while opening up Graceland as a tourist attraction? Elvis went from being a prisoner of his own fame to literally being a prisoner in his own house, which makes no sense at all.
