This was very bittersweet an awsome look at Graceland but.. As I was looking through the windows it almost seemed like he should be there,He was one of a kind ,a beautiful man and he will be sadly missed for ever and always thought of with love always ❤
Elvis loved the lord. And I think if one thing he could convey to us all - it would be serve the lord. Don’t idolize folks. People get caught up serving the wrong master all the time. Appreciate the gifts that touch your heart but never let a person or their image or persona be so great , that it removes you from what you’re meant to be fixated on. Search your heart and seek the lord. Glory can’t be found among men or possessions !

susie shipley sweetie keep ur heart fixated on the lord ! He loves u so much!!!! Yes it would be cool to see something attached to someone that Has impacted our hearts in the ways of God given gifts and blessings .... but ev night ur heart ? Let it be poured out unto the lord who loves you so much. U matter so much to the lord !!! I m not saying these things to be condescending or anything negative. Just hit me to say something to u ... whatever we stay focused on isnwhere our hearts truly lie ... we gotta seek the lords heart and his face ! Perhaps you’ll get to enjoy viewing Graceland and how cool would that be ? It’s filled with a nostalgic vibe and so many cool things ... but if Elvis ever wanted anyone to know something , it would be his love for the lord and desire to be in Gods favor. And he’d be surely proud of anyone who just appreciates the gifts in his message and who’s heart he impacted but above all , those who just look to the lord. He surely loved God and wanted only to be close to him. He struggled in this world and it’s things and ways ... he wanted to be worthy of the lords love ! We are only worthy bc of the lords grace , forgiveness and love for us ! Bc In his glory and love and forgiveness and his paying the ultimate sacrifice for our salvation , we have such an unfailing gift !!! God bless u !!!!!! May ur heart be light and ur life filled with joy so much joy !!! Take care !
Lois Smith ... I'm right there with you Lois ... I've always wanted to go to Graceland too and now I'm in my mids and still haven't gone :( Want to go so bad! It's strange because I never was that into Elvis until recently. Don't know why but watching all of the videos about him on Y. Tube has truly been an eye awakener and I keep wondering where I've been all these years while I grew up during the same time he did and watched him on tv and all through out his career yet I'm just seeing him truly for the first time! But better late than never! He really was a special man so beautiful inside and out. And that voice! Miss him and his music/songs so much. Hope you get to go to Graceland and me too!
Wow that was GREAT it was like a little piece of heaven. Thank you sooooo much for a great job thank for the post. Elvis spirit still have a power present. Love you still.
thank you Priscilla Presley. I enjoy seeing Elvis Presley's house. I will always remember him & I used to talk with him while I was standing beside his grave & I told him that wish that I could meet him in person again. I always listen to his songs & i even sang with him while i was listening to his records. I know how to sing just like Elvis Presley. I am really good in singing tho. Elvis will always be in my prayers forever.
we are all fragile, blowing in the wind, but some of us, are star light, that takes others breath away........so sad, that in the end we are all alone , in the end.
When Elvis bought his Graceland in 1957 at the age of 21yrs, it was meant to be a HOME for him and his parents. It cost about $100,000. It was not meant to be a mansion that cost millions of dollars in todays world. He had many more expensive homes in and around the West Coast. Graceland was his refuge, where he found peace. If he were still living, he might have finally purchased an expensive mansion, but his heart would always be at Graceland, really purchased for his mother Gladys.
There will only ever be one King!!!. The Greatest Entertainer that has ever lived. As much as i admired the likes of Michael Jackson,Frank Sinatra etc etc, they just dont even come close to what Elvis was. Elvis could sing gospel, country, blues, rock n roll etc.
I think Elvis Presley would want Lisa Marie Presley to have Graceland alive there w her children he wouldn't want it to be used as a tour house to rob poor fans of him Elvis Presley wasn't like that he was a simple loving caring man to his fans. Elvis Presley was something else ,,,,❤❤😇😇
I'm amazed the camera was allowed upstairs,I thought it was sacrosanct. Thank you for showing. It bought back memories of a never to be forgotten trip to Memphis and Graceland
He would have taken care of me.. and stayed with me.. and made sure I was all right... He knew I loved him.. and well.. He knew I was not all about the money.. and he knew.. I would live simple.. just to have him near.. otherwise what is the point.. meaning.. if your not with the people you love. and if the money is used to manipulate.. or control.. instead of taking care of.. then it really isn't love.. now is it....?...
cara floyd um yeah ok .... hunny , idk what you’re trying to say ... but a comment on CZcams like that isn’t it ... seems like ur in need of healing and wanting to project that some way ,.. some odd wsy , Perhaps for intrigue or attention idk ... but God bless u none the less. No one can be to anyone their life’s fix .. no one can carry ur burdens and be the end all in taking care of u. U must take care of u. Give ur cares to the lord above all though , as it’s GOD who truly cares for u. We can’t find our worth among men and honey Elvis is dead and gone ... u need to seek the lords love and keep ur heart on him sweet girl ! And know that he who cares for u will provide.
I wonder what Elvis would have made of the modern world he loved gadgets , he actually carried around a brief case with a phone system built into it , I can imagine him using an I phone today no problem
When you think about it, Graceland is kinda like a big time capsule. I see pictures of things that were state of the art back then but now obsolete)..or museum(well I guess it is a museum).. I've never been there, but would really like to someday!!!
that was a great insight of the kings home,,,i live in england but me and my brother would love to visit 1 day ,,,,what a great place,,,time has stood still,,,how much does it cost to visit there in english pounds,,,,,anyone no
Mark Wade I am from Memphis. Have been there a few times. Its fairly cheap. If you have a flight paying for a Graceland tour should be no problem. Much love from across the pond.
I am 62 now and worked for Northwest Airlines when they were still around. Memphis was one of our hubs so I had the fortunate opportunity to visit Graceland a number of times and stay at the Heartbreak Hotel nearby. Loved flying up for the week end and also visiting Beale Street, the Peabody Hotel, and Rendezvous for ribs. I have and older sister that was and still is a big Elvis fan, and when I was a young boy if I would have told her that when I grow up, I am going to be in Elvis Presley's home, the phone is going to ring, I am going to answer it, and it's going to be for me, she would have never believed it. Well it did happen! While I was in his home on one of my visits my cell phone rang, I answered it, and it was for me! Who would have ever thought that possible way back in early sixties? Also on one of my visits about twenty years ago while at the pool side resting place of Elvis, a young boy was climbing on the nearby brick wall. The one where the bricks are kinda whitish. Well while he was doing that he slipped of the wall and broke one of the bricks loose and his mother whom was accompanying me on this visit gave him “what for” and we left the area to catch to bus at the front of the house to leave to property. While waiting for the bus I told the staff member at the bus stop what had happened and that someone may want clean it up before a guest trips on it and falls. He was very concerned and asked me if anyone had gotten hurt during the incident. I told him no but the brick was still lying there in pieces and asked him if he wanted me to run back real quick and bring him the debris that was there. He said yes but I had to hurry because the bus would be coming soon to pick us up. I returned with a number pieces of the brick cupped in my hands and held it out to him. He seemed reluctant to take it and asked again if anyone was hurt. I assured him that no one was hurt and kept holding out the pieces of brick for him to take and he seemed to not want to take them. He seemed a little agitated and nervous. The bus had just passed the entry gate and was making its way up to us. I asked him if I could keep them and he said yes and seemed relieved that he did not have to take them! There were other guest that were also waiting for the same bus that we were and saw and heard everything that transpired. While we were sitting on the bus as it was taking us back across the street to the Elvis Presley Museum which included his two airplanes, a restaurant, and gift/souvenir shops, I noticed that many on the bus were not talking and they seemed to be looking at us like a bunch of hungry lions ready to pounce on us. I told the young lady I was with and her son that when we got off the bus that we would go directly back to the Heartbreak Hotel, to drop off the brick pieces, and then return back for the rest of our tour. Under the circumstances I think that was the smart thing to do. When we arrived back home we divided up the pieces and she had some of her smaller pieces “wrapped” in gold wire and made jewelry out of them. I still have my pieces of the brick in a zip lock bag with a letter of explanation as to what it is in case someone runs across it after I die. On a subsequent visit back to Graceland I had a photo me taken down on one knee next to where the brick fell out and pointing to an empty spot where the brick used to be. I have also put a copy of that photo in the zip lock bag with the brick and updated the letter explaining what the photo is about. What a story, huh.
And actually I had read in a few books that Elvis didnt really care for the way Linda had redecorated the downstairs rooms with all the red furniture etc.
First let me say that I love Elvis and am a big fan, but I have always been amazed for such a legend as Elvis, that he lived in such a tiny place. I can imagine that during the 60's etc. That the place must of been 'chock-a-block' with the Memphis Mafia and all the family and staff.
ELVIS had many homes, he always came home to Graceland, this was the home he loved and cherished, the home he bought for his mother, GLADYS. His memories were made at Graceland, you can feel his Spirit there, like he never left ♾️✝️✌️❤️ELVIS is still TCB⚡⚡⚡⚡8-5-22
Eu tenho uma coriosidade em saber o qui tem por trás da quela porta nunca foi aberta ao público aí a dúvida ou a esperança de nós fãs de imaginar qui nosso eterno Elvis ainda vive la
Most if not all of the furniture in the downstairs rooms (living, dining, music room) as it is now was the actual original furniture that was there before Linda Thompson redecorated in the early 70's. Luckily Elvis saved all of the old stuff and had it stored so it's not "Priscillas" Graceland, but the way Elvis and his mother originally had it decorated when they moved in in the late 50's.
Looming Nana even if u did could’ve bn a reflection ... or editing. Ppl see what they wanna see sometimes too lol. Nonetheless, doesn’t matter .. Elvis is with the lord now!
Why was Linda aloud to redecorate? She was just a girlfriend, elvis mom was the first woman to live there then his one and only wife Priscilla, Elvis really didn't like how Linda redecorated Graceland, had he still been alive today I'm sure Elvis would have changed things back
elise4ya Girlfriend adds their own touch when they move in their man house....She changed some of Priscilla decorations...but when Elvis died...and she became executive of his estate from Vernon Presley... Priscilla changed everything back to the way Elvis had it before Linda moved in... Priscilla is the Queen B of Graceland....and Lisa Marie...l hope Priscilla lives a long time... because Lisa Marie is horrible manager of business and money...like her dad......she will lose everything when Priscilla die.
Elvisworldwide please feel free to share your cool videos on our Facebook page (details on our CZcams page) with all our fans. Today we posted a new exclusive video interview with Elvis Presleys' fashion designer, Manuel Cuevas, who made clothes for 7 of Elvis' movies INCLUDING the famous Gold Lame suit. Hope you enjoy :)
I think Pricilla was Elvis only true love I think she was used as she was only 14 when they met . Which nowadays he could be in trouble for being with a minor I think Pricilla had to grow up quickly and she had to share the love of her life with the whole world . Elvis realized when it was to late that he had lost Pricilla . I think that was the nail in his coffin when she left him for someone else . It would have been nice to see them grow old together and spend time together with their grandchildren sadly it was not to be . But she will always have Lisa Marie to remind her of her greatest love .
priscilla ruined it by changing it all and i agree its like she wanted rid of any trace of Linda and linda was good for Elvis, much better then she was... I still think he didnt want to get married..I believe the guys in Elvis and the Memphis mafia... Priscilla has made Graceland great (not alone i might add) but then shes lived off his name....She is only an ex Presley thro marriage x Elvis did not want her managing the estate it says clearly in that book...Long live the King xox
Beautiful tour but sad Priscilla and Lisa Marie are using it as a cash cow. Heard the day he died that people that were in the house robbed it of whatever they wanted...how evil and tacky and selfish. Not true friends, family or employees were they ?! Very sad.
I think it's beautiful in that was the style back then that was in the seventies we're in 2018 and I'm sure if Alvis would still be with us it would been totally different it would have been totally remodeled again
i wish it was still in the same state it was in at the time of elvis's death..priscilla ruined it in a way by putting things back the way they were when she lived there. i think 70's elvis is the most interesting..why change it? its like she was trying to get the spirit of linda thompson who redecorated it outta there..
This was very bittersweet an awsome look at Graceland but..
As I was looking through the windows it almost seemed like he should be there,He was one of a kind ,a beautiful man and he will be sadly missed for ever and always thought of with love always ❤
Elvis did not die.
He made sure we had his wonderful memories until we meet him in Heaven.

First let me say that I love Elvis and am a big fan, but I have always been amazed for such a legend as Elvis, that he lived in such a tiny place. I can imagine that during the 60's etc. That the place must of been 'chock-a-block' with the Memphis Mafia and all the family and staff.
Elvis was humble
ELVIS had many homes, he always came home to Graceland, this was the home he loved and cherished, the home he bought for his mother, GLADYS. His memories were
made at Graceland, you can feel his Spirit
there, like he never left ♾️✝️✌️❤️ELVIS
is still TCB⚡⚡⚡⚡8-5-22
ELVIS always remained Humble, he always
gave GOD the Glory and never forgot how
he came from poor but humbled beginnings.

Eu tenho uma coriosidade em saber o qui tem por trás da quela porta nunca foi aberta ao público aí a dúvida ou a esperança de nós fãs de imaginar qui nosso eterno Elvis ainda vive la
Yeah luckily Elvis saved all of the original furniture thats there now, most of that stuff dates to when he first moved into Graceland.
i been in his house 2 years ago it was a tour
Another awesome and touching video. Brought tears to my eyes… Thank you for this wonderful creation Steve. Straight to favs. Thumbs Up High! Hugs
MiniMansion.
Yes,but the time that Priscilla spent there with Elvis was when he was the "real" Elvis. Linda decorated the later version.
Was it just me or did anyone else see Elvis' face in the lower left corner of the last shot of that video?
Looming Nana even if u did could’ve bn a reflection ... or editing. Ppl see what they wanna see sometimes too lol. Nonetheless, doesn’t matter .. Elvis is with the lord now!
I got here after watching The Pink Panther!!?
Why was Linda aloud to redecorate? She was just a girlfriend, elvis mom was the first woman to live there then his one and only wife Priscilla, Elvis really didn't like how Linda redecorated
Graceland, had he still been alive today I'm sure Elvis would have changed things back
elise4ya Girlfriend adds their own touch when they move in their man house....She changed some of Priscilla decorations...but when Elvis died...and she became executive of his estate from Vernon Presley...
The sad thing is I want to see it as Elvis had it the year of his death, not how Priscilla had it restored to her liking. She changed it so much smh
Hope you enjoy :)
beautifull , what is the name off this music in the video ?
I think Pricilla was Elvis only true love I think she was used as she was only 14 when they met . Which nowadays he could be in trouble for being with a minor I think Pricilla had to grow up quickly and she had to share the love of her life with the whole world . Elvis realized when it was to late that he had lost Pricilla . I think that was the nail in his coffin when she left him for someone else . It would have been nice to see them grow old together and spend time together with their grandchildren sadly it was not to be . But she will always have Lisa Marie to remind her of her greatest love .
Beautifully put.
I Agree
I think ginger
O neto dele é a cará dele poderia ter a mesma vocação do avô
What is the name of the piano song in the beginning of this?
Go back to the video. Click "show more". It's listed there.
using my phone, shows arrow , clicked the arrow, nothing about the song, just youtube licensure things.
priscilla ruined it by changing it all and i agree its like she wanted rid of any trace of Linda and linda was good for Elvis, much better then she was...
Элвис крутой!!!!! Такой дом сам добился! Уважение и низкий поклон! Ты мой кумир👍👍👍👍👍👍
thanksGOD it's now as it was then , that horrible RED decoration...
