As far as family, I wish they even cared. All I get is fighting, "why don't you do this" "why do you forget", "but I told you to do this". Everything I do is a bother to them. The infighting just drives me into more depression, brain fog and anxiety.

You always said after crashing you are coming back to baseline with time, but then why are so many people so severe after a crash in a severe stage and not coming back?

Thank you for these videos. They are so inspiring and give me hope. I was 14 when I started having severe panic attacks that disrupted going to school. At 15, I became agoraphobic and stopped going. The school board threatened to put me in juvenile detention so I had to go back. It was horrible. I was almost 16 and stopped going again thinking by the time they find out, I'll be 16. I became completely housebound, mostly to my bedroom and still had severe panic attacks. I stayed mostly in bed. I was there for 3 months and then was hospitalized for the agoraphobia. I then got mono, what you guys call glandular fever. I also had severe acne which they treated with antibiotics. With medication, my agoraphobia became better, but not gone. Fast forward, I'm 59, on antidepressants, and exhausted. We've been taking care of my mom with Alzheimer's these past years, and now she got to the point of severe with violent behaviour we couldn't control with needing our care 24/7 (at the end, just my sister-in-law and I doing 24 hours shifts opposite each other. We had to take her to ER for violent behavior and she is now in hospital in a locked unit waiting for placement in long-term care. We are now cleaning her apartment out (kind of a hoarder). Still exhausted, but seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I have high hopes of getting better from this and hope to be able to help others, especially seniors, with their health. I've been put off work by my doctor for years, so it will be a struggle to get better. Thank you for these videos, they are very helpful.

Exactly my thoughts It’s the family that put pressure on you It takes time and also we get curve balls sent our way as we are recovering - I’ve had 6 surgeries in 2 years which have stalled my recovery from burnout yet family and some people think wow it’s taking a long time It’s so upsetting it really can weigh on you a lot I’m with you hey just focus on you and consistent self care early nights no caffeine ( that’s been the hardest for me) no alcohol etc yoga etc and your true friends stick by you My problem is when I’m better it will be hard to forgive those who backed away over time

I love the cave analogy, I feel like it will be useful when I get to that point of questioning and struggling over why my body is feeling/reacting this way and hopefully keep my mind from spiraling into a depression or hopelessness about this condition. I had to consistently tell my myself over the period of 2 years ( with really no support/understanding of this condition ) that I just need to rest , instinctually it was what I knew I needed to do. Finding the " sweet spot " and asking for support is now the goal. Thank you
