I've been on this path since August of 2020 and after recovering for a while I crashed again. I *JUST* recently accepted and said to myself, ok, this is where I am at and it seems to have shifted things a bit for me. . And rather than pushing myself to get back to work which I had gotten up to about 10 hours a week now down to 2 (which has been hard), I have committed to making recovery my full time job without making myself feel bad about it.
If you can constantly think of you’re health over pushing you are doing good, once you’re brain trust you it will loosen the fatigue
I love that, "unfit athlete." I'll have to remember that. When she talked about her glands being a sign of overdoing, I thought of a check engine light coming on in the car. I wish you guys could have a lottery for a mentorship. I'm in Canada, but if I was allowed I'd buy a ticket!!
So very many of Tori's journey and healing process resonates deeply with me, not to mention her personality traits, WOW! The pearls of wisdom, thank you both for this. I wish this lovely lady all the health and happiness in the world
Thanks for sharing I can relate so much with her ❤
Amazing to listen to you both and inspiring. I have hashimotos but experience extreme fatigue especially bad during a flare up triggered by something as innocuous as mowing my lawn and i have to be off work and angry with myself for getting 'bad' again. I've wondered if the programme is suitable for people like me who dont have a diagnosis of CFS or ME etc but who really struggle with fatigue and a life shrunk so small so can just about manage to work, earn money, and sleep. Thank you again for the video
As someone who is doing the mentorship program at the moment, l am sure they could help with some of your issues……❤️
Beautiful ❤ thank you! Gives me good insights 😘 blessings
You are so welcome 💙
Tori--this has been really really helpful! Thanks for sharing--I felt so encouraged by your pace and where you are in the journey.
After a mild bout with covid and then suspecting long covid i became anemic and was diagnosed with celiac OUCH. I then realized that for much of my life i have suffered from fatigue but PUSHED myself through. Ive had to face that im no longer able to PUSH myself. Trying to find motivation takes much of my energy. The internal struggle drains the little bit of energy so now i have to decide to accept the limits and direct the tiny energy bubbles to survival chores. OR decide to sometimes use the tiny bubbles to do a perfect tv movie day. Grace to myself goes a long way. Guilt depletes energy. Grace saves.
The intro alone is SO relatable to my experience! Minus being a parent. Thank you for sharing!
You are so welcome! 💙
