How do I handle pressure from family members who want you to " get better quicklly" because it annoys them that you are unwell. The is includes my adult children and occasionally my spouse.

Yes, you need to develop very strong boundaries, and speak your truth in a way they can understand.

Boundaries for sure. You're going to have to be selfish. Your life is on the line.

The problem I have with my 2 kids of 12 and 21 years old. They really stress me out. But now Am a selfish too like them am sorry to say that. But this is the only way for me to get better. Coz they don’t want to understand me.

      Exactly my thoughts
It’s the family that put pressure on you
It takes time and also we get curve balls sent our way as we are recovering - I’ve had 6 surgeries in 2 years which have stalled my recovery from burnout yet family and some people think wow it’s taking a long time
It’s so upsetting it really can weigh on you a lot I’m with you hey just focus on you and consistent self care early nights no caffeine ( that’s been the hardest for me) no alcohol etc yoga etc and your true friends stick by you
My problem is when I’m better it will be hard to forgive those who backed away over time

You always said after crashing you are coming back to baseline with time, but then why are so many people so severe after a crash in a severe stage and not coming back?

Yes it is but because the course really helps people get on the right track to recovery. I would definitely advocate for the Foundations course, it really helps.
