This the way to end a game that is companion based. There is a sense of closure and happiness that you have for the companions you spent 60 hours or more with. You get a conclusion and a happy ending if you so chose to be good to them. Bravo! Many other rpgs need to take note on how to do a proper ending (granted, all this stuff was patched in later, regardless, it was fixed when people were displeased with the original ending). My favorite rpg is Neverwinter nights 2 and if that game came out in modern times, I think people would have loved the companions almost as much as the BG3 companions. I always get sad when I replay NWN 2 the original campaign how the companions I've spent so much time with didn't get a happy ending. I'm glad the BG3 companions got what the NWN 2 companions didn't.

The mindflayer parasite is an entirely different entity than the person it inhabits. Once the parasite becomes a full Mindflayer, the host dies and their soul gets destroyed utterly, ceasing to exist. You were right. According to that, The Emperor can't be Balduran because Balduran is gone. Either Larian got this wrong or The Emperor is lying.

Protip while raiding you can right click next target and they won't step off until the raid finishes. Makes it a lot smoother and no need to pause.

Larian must have gotten the idea of having talking statues of Balduranfrom Obsidian. Obsidian did the same thing back in 2006 with NWN 2. In the lower levels of Castle Never, there were talking statues of the Gold Elf Hauleth Never. Founder of Neverwinter. His statues also guided you.

Funfact i was level 10 when i was at the Chaos Space Marine Battle and i won. How? 1 Sniper and Cassie and a lot of movement. it was intense and very close. but fun all the way, only needed 2 hours

I played as Dol Guldur a while ago. Within 20 years, I had dominated the north. Elves, Men, Beornings. I even subjugated Gundabad. Thranduil got burned alive and I threw Legolas to the wargs.

Great to find these videos - This is my first Total War game, and playing on Normal difficulty I have struggled to get my Skaven expansion beyond Zlatan because there are so many mechanics in this game I don't understand yet. By around turn 50 I end up running out of food and everyone has a stronger army than me.
