The castle right next door to the city would seem to be important as it gives that Dukedom a base right on your doorstep, also it provides you with villages to recruit cavalry from and the river as a frontier. After that make peace if you wish too. A note of warning, Sylvania may be evil but its Empire Evil, if you declare war on it Reikland may declare war on you That has been witnessed by yours truly on another play through.
not to mention prosperity, all castle villages go to the closest travel time city of their kingdom. this can be exploited to great effect, especially when you add workshops to the mix. though with the current state of bandits on this map, it would require patrols
A Fist kept tight strikes harder than an open hand. Keeping your lands tighter and leaving the remnants of Carcassone to remain shows the other Duchies that Carcassone exists through your mercy. Take their fortress of Laguiller and Carrard, and Carcassone is as good as a fox in the trap, kept over the rivers and unable to ever raise their hand to you in anger again. This shows the others the steel beneath the velvet; Bend the knee, or lose it. Then, Sire DuBois, take the fight to the Curse of these lands, the undead and the unclean. Their taint offends the Lady's chosen, and we'll see no peace until they're cleansed fully. You've seen the foul debauchery within Blood Keep in your short stewardship of that damned place, Sire. No more should that filth stand! The Lady wills it!
I think it would be an interesting concept to see and maybe shape a playthrough to have an imperial noble hiding their ability to cast spells and finally accepting the role he was thrust upon to defend the empire through his new found gifts.
Your trusted brothers in battle, your knights who have followed you thru thick and thin, seen you rise too even greater hights with towns and castles falling under your control. Endlessly have they toiled with little recognition, a title would be in order, prefrable a castle in the safer inlands of your lands since they will be a new house without much recogniton or capital. This will also open upp the possibility to find new brothers or sisters to aid you in your campaing against evil!
If you want to jump off the walls (or over them) the vampires in this mod don't take fall damage and have crazy high jumps (well balanced with a long landing animation for combat)
I think take some more cities, I say this because leaving a few clans city less will allow you to recruit them and become stronger as well as give somebody all your cities. I feel like this being a bare minimum then you could further decide to eradicate them or go for Sylvania.
"Dubois" means "of the forest" in French. maybe make it so he is in charge of keeping the border of Athel Loren safe, so get all the towns that border it.
I think the blood keep is the only settlement that doesn't convert to your culture upon capture, at the very least, most sylvanian towns can be taken. also, the bottom spell ability at 250 is great for all formations, archer, melee, or gun, its a flat 10% magic damage added to the entire formation they're captaining.
Milord Dubois, Duke of Parravon may the lady guide you.. I unlike many of the nobles who declare you “a pompous ass” refuse to speak such ill of you.. If milord shall accept a suggestion from one who once also originated from {cough} a more modest estate.. As now a Duke of the realm, one in such a high standing, compared to the rabble shouldn’t be seen on level ground with them.. I’d suggest when addressing the troops both before and at the conclusion of battle you should seek higher elevated ground to promote your noble intent and showcase your abilities in war-pageantry .. Both to bolster the morale of the army and to prevent the Bretonnian tendency to dissolve into cha- if word of their lord’s fall in battle.. (A showy rearing of your horse with your sword raised for affect wouldn’t hurt) Know that you may count on my sword whenever you need my Duke.. FOR PARRAVON AND BRETONNIA. -Baron Arthuren de Spire
Artillery only stop shooting in sieges if they run out of ammunition.... So if you want them to stop..., you gotta take your time, or go round and throwing the ammo away
@@SurrealBeliefs tbf I can't speak for 1.2.0 which includes letting groups target particular formations, however it's never been the case so far It is one of two reasons I never bring trebuchets to the field portion of a siege attack, they take too long to stop, and it's much harder to personally aim compared to a catapult, especially when you're like me and you try and target the men formed up at a breach in the wall Makes for a good juicy target
Is there any way you can go to the Warp by going through a Warp rift or portal, and fight there, like you can do in Warhammer 3? I don't know the lore of Warhammer Fantasy, I am more of a 40K guy, than a Fantasy Guy.

I personally feel playing as a blood knight is the most fun
