This seems eerily similar to MrSamuelStreamers short series with the same setup. You even gave Rodrick Cassel an accolade based on his facial hair just as Sam did.
I ain't against it, you are more reliable at finishing a series anyhow.
I love many of your series, although here in CK3 I would have left the original looks of the characters since those are from the books, not the mod of the show

I see Jon Snow is already ending up with bad traits due to his AI education, as he comes into adulthood you might consider console commanding them away and give him some more lore-friendly traits instead? Brave, Honest and Just/Content should suit him fine I think.
Agreed. While you could rationalize Robb being assassinated would have a large effect on Jon but it's just a result of CK3 being CK3 if the other kids get their personalities protected Jon should as well.
@@CrazyxEnigmaI mean, so long it isn't out of the blue and blown out of proportion. (Deceitful, wrathful, and stubborn etc.) We can definitely rationalize the death of Robb to change Jon's traits.
@@CrazyxEnigmaMaybe the reason Jon's personality traits aren't protected is because you can changw his destiny and what playstyle matches with him. Once you do play as Jon, in your game.
Jon isnt exactly content imo. He dreams of becoming lord of Winterfell, but seeing as he is a bastard he decides to seek glory and adventure as a ranger of the Night's Watch instead. If he was content he prolly would have just stayed at Winterfell, serving Ned and later on Robb in some capacity

I also give you my condolences on the death of your first son and heir, the young lord Robb. House Stark has known far too much tragedy in recent years and the North shares in your suffering.
Although I am but a humble soldier of the Winter Wolves, and the son of a Wolf, please allow me to offer my advice on the North’s path in the years to come. As my years of service and your own encounter with the “Red Bear” have taught us both, the Wall and the Night’s Watch are no longer the deterrents they once were against the raids of the Wildlings. If the North is to be made secure for Winter, then the Starks must take it upon themselves to venture northwards and bring our erstwhile cousins to heel. Only by taking these lands can we know real peace.

Roose didn't feel necessary to start anything while Ned reigned in canon and even though Domeric was a completely different person than him was quite proud of him perhaps hinting he was more than willing to let the long bloodfeud go as long as the North stayed strong.

Also Roose Bolton, amending ties if Domeric was still alive? I would almost think he's joking and wouldn't take him seriously of burying the hatchet with the Starks.

2:04 Yep I honestly think if Lyanna hadn't died and Ned grieved her loss with Robert he wouldn't have forgiven him for Rhaenys and Aegon. An interesting question to ponder is could he have gone against Robert if the true circumstances of Jon's birth had been discovered?
How honorable is Ned to choose his best friend over Jon's true circumstances?
I think in either situation of Lyanna surviving the Tower of Joy or not, he would’ve made a promise to protect Jon. Jon is his blood and while Robert was his best friend, he went years without talking to him after what happened to Rhaenys and Aegon. And if Robert posed a threat to Jon he wouldn’t let that slide.

A strange woman is brought before you, she appears to be Lyseni in looks, from the city state of Lys. Her long silver hair drapes down two beady indigo eyes. She is pretty and otherworldly, thought this is most likely due to her Valyrian heritage. "Greetings to the most honorable Eddard of House Stark. I have traveled far and wide to reach your council. Word of the Westerosi civil war has spread through Essos like wildfire." She is a bit mousy and speaks quietly, as if afraid to ask the next question. "My name is Naethis of House Synchion. Ive worked in Lys as a medical assistant, and two patricians, which you would call Lords have praised me on my services. I've got years of knowledge of Essos at my back and never has a patient perished under my care. I'm what you Westerosi would call a 'maester' but with specialization in unknown eastern medicines. I offer my loyalty to you, if you would happen to have a place in your court."
Great character to make! It just has to be paired with in-game advice we can use for a following part.
SB, Jon has always looked up to his uncle; if you decide to not tell him his true heritage, you should have him become a marshal-type character and have him squire under Ben.

My lord is Galbert Glover of the wolfs wood. My family works the ironwood since we’re a minor house but we can trace our ancestry like yours to the age of heroes when our ancestors crossed the neck and settled this land.
My father and I raised our banners and marched south when you called upoun us sire. We marched because the blood of the first men had been spilled by a mad southern king. The blood of the first men was spilt upoun the trident, my fathers blood.
My house has no other heirs since my brothers took the black before the war, so that leaves me.
I kneel before you my lord so I may swear the loyalty of the Ironfists to a stark once again.
I cannot offer much except the loyalty of myself and the men that will follow me.

There's a rule in early Ck3 videos, where Surreal said if you want a character to be included next episode. You need to have a fleshed out RP paragraph for your character to be included, unless you payed him in patreon for the full exact list of character traits and stats?

My Lord Stark, may I suggest marrying one of your children to someone in House Tully or House Arryn to keep the strength between the houses.
Also please check on the education of young Jon. May I suggest educating him yourself.
As a suggestion, try to marry into House Blackwood, to get that Stark/Blackwood line starting again.

A tall, muscular man that looks like he is in his mid 30ies, with short Dark brown hair and a red beard with small braids in it, ice blue eyes and a scar going from left to right across his nose, wth plae skin and freckles, dressed in armor made of leather and fur, carrying a shield on his back and an axe at his side approaches you, Lord Eddard Stark, puts hs fist to his chest and takes a knee in front of you and says:
"Greetings to you Lord Eddard Stark,
I am Beon and I come from Cedar peaks to the north. I have been a mercenary for as long as I have remembered, but joined Roberts during the rebellion, as I saw it was the only way to keep the North safe from the Mad King. Now I wish to return and help keeping the North safe and I come with advice to you for that and a request.
my 1st advice is that you keep thinking about the people of the North, that you keep them safe. These lands have always been more wild and savage than the south and our people are survivalists, but they need you to keep them safe. Make sure that defenses are built against raiders, bandits and Widlings from the North, to ensure our people can live in safety. Adding to that, I advice sending any criminal up north to the Wall, to take the Black and join the Night's Watch. To bolster their forces means that they can keep a better eye on the Wildlings and the dangers north of the Wall.
Adding to this advice is to make sure that the people of the North are fed. These lands are harsh and not much will grow here, so do focus on what we can grow. We can grow hardier crops, but we have plenty of streams, acces to the sea and plenty of Wildlife up here. Making sure there is plenty of meat and fish in storage for colder season, means that more people will survive. So Hunters huts and fishing docks I believe will be a good investment. From the hunters you will also be able to call upon experienced bowmen when needed.
Do this and the people will be loyal too you.
The other advice I have is linked to the 1st one and that is security, in this case secure the roads down south. This will mean that more traders will come North, meaning more coin to your chest which can be spent on improving your lands. On what you use your coin on is for you to decide, but I have already spoken on what I belive it be best spent on. Better and more secure roads also mean that armies and help can reach outlying cities and villages faster.
I wish I could advice you on diplomacy, but I am a simple man and I tend to be direct in my speech. All I can advice on is to speak true and direct when you need to and always make sure everyone undertstands that you mean what you say. Speaking true and direct can go along way have I noticed.
These are the advice I can offer you, Lord Stark. As for my request-" On this so does Beorn take of his shield and holds it in front of him "- so do I ask for a place in your retinue of knights, not as a lord, but as a warrior, cause that is all I know. However I'm a quick learner, so I will pick up what I need if you want me as a lord in a castle on day. I have always tayed in the North as a mercenary, offering my shield & axe to those that needed it. Now I make the same offer to you, Lord Stark, and if you'll have me, I'll be loyal to House Stark and to the North until the end of my days and I will fight for you and the North, always standing in the front line facing the enemy head on."
With this so does he lower his head, hold up his shield and offer it to you, Lord Eddard Stark

a small man is ushered into the presence of Lord Paramount Eddard Stark during one of his court after the harvest.
The Fair Wolf observed the man who is now kneel in front of him closely. frog-spears the man carry and the sharp bronze knife hanging on the waist gave away his identity.
A Crannogmen,murmured Eddard in his mind. But not quite. The weaponries he carry does suggest he comes fron the Neck,Eddard knew quite well of these isolated and enigmatic people who inhabited the southernmost part of the North due to his friendship to Howland Reed. But the rest of the man's clothing is as Northmen as it possibly can be.
"My Lord Paramount Eddard,may i offer my congratulations to you for successfully avenge your son's Robb death and honored your alliance to the Riverlands,of which i served under the banner of House Reed. alas,i got knocked out quite badly from the war and failing to catch up with the rest of the Reed's bannermen to return to the elusive Greywater Watch,am stranded now,with no place to call home.
I knew these bogs and mires well my lord,but Greywater Watch is hard to find,even for a Crannogmen.
How did i ended up here you might wonder.
I did tried my luck with other crannogmen houses,but unlike Lord Reed, for them i am too Northern for their likings. and for the rest of the North,the Ryswell,the Dustins and Cerwyns am too much of a frogeaters or mudman,they saw me as beneath them. If i still fail to convince you to let me serve under your banner,i will be content spending the rest of my life at the Wall. Who knows,i might become the first crannogmen to become Lord Commander. If the Skagosi can do that at one point,why a Crannogmen can't achieve such a feat.
before i bore you further with my tale of woes. Hallis is my name, my Lord Paramount. the Crannogmen called me Hallis Half-Crannog,born from a Crannogmen hunter who didn't share his own people's reclusiveness and a Northern woman in Flint's Cliff. Both died due to the Freys involvement. truth be told my lord,i relish killing Freys as any other Crannogmen do when these upjumped toll-collectors venture too far to our swamps. Oh you should hear how they scream when i lure them into a lizard-lion's nest,no music is sweeter to my ears."
Eddard now found himself pondered whether to recruit Hallis Half-Crannog or not.

The interactions that you get on the hunt around 15 min mark. Is that part of one of the dlc?
The Starks don't have an executioner. "The man who passed the sentence should swing the sword." The sitting Lord Stark, if he's physically able, carries out the execution himself using Ice. It's one of the first bits of lore established in the first book & in the first season of the show.
Maybe that recruited executioner is for the "unworthy" hands and hasn't personally passed the sentence on the criminal or it goes against their culture and house tradition as Northerners?
Yes, however, a mechanic for that doesn’t seem to exist in game.
One question, couldn't you revoke the titles from Roose Bolton before executing him?
You had a reason for title revocation and it would eliminate any issues in the future with his kid (plus would mean the downfall of his house which seems fitting).
Or are there any revocation protection in their contract?
House stark still owes a marriage to house dayne, maybe edric dayne and arya (yes like that one fan fic) and sansa to joffrey or his replacement, it just makes sense. Bran could marry a blackwood or an arryn or another big vale house, Corbray, redfort?

She treats Jon like absolute crap like heinously bad and by modern standards she didn't do a good job with Arya. Outside of family interactions how she treated Tyrion in book one was a good example of some of her less than stellar traits. She's still a far better person than most of the inhabitants of Westros though and didn't deserve her fate.

Also, a note. Testing Ned like that for her love, I wonder how canon Ned would react properly to that act from Catelyn.
@@Blackandwhitecat-to5ll Yes. Arya she didn't have much in common with and didn't know how to bond with her. I have no doubt she loved her but yeah favoring Sansa didn't help matters. If you like darker fantasy and don't mind long reads I'd highly recommend the books they're as good as you can get when it comes to fantasy. Just don't expect them to ever be finished it's been over a decade since the last one came out and we're still waiting.

Yeah, wow Cersei is much more crazier and psychopathic on her marriage with Robert in the books. If book Cersei was in the show, she would be hated as much as Joffrey by the fans.
My Lord Stark, May I suggest a marriage between any further stark boys with the offspring of Lord Stannis Baratheon to keep the alliance between the stormlands and the north if something should ever happen to Robert. And for the likes of Jon, have him be educated in the art of war by your brother or possibly Howland Reed?
(I think if we are going to go into the idea of JOn actually being a Targaryen then having him protected by the people who fought alongside Ned at the tower of Joy would provide for a brilliant dynamic)

I am still a child in comparison to yourself and your mighty men a child of 17 years. I have seen wars and battles, I am a proud Dorne, we who were never conquered by dragons... If allowed I wish to learn and study under you.. keep your family safe, keep your Snow safe. I understand better then others what his life will become, being part of a house and being part of a family are very different my lord.
If possible I wish to become a good friend to the Snow of yours. I will swear my blade and my life will belong to him and him alone...

You should have revoked the barrowlands from barbrey to give it to Jon. She was involved in the plot to kill Robb and joined roose in his rebellion. The only reason she has the barrowlands is because ned felt guilty for getting her husband killed.
The issue is that mechanically it would have raised up tyranny.
