Roland could go on a crusade to purge the vampire menace from the world to show his devotion to the lady.
Hopefully as they progress with the mod, they'll be able to add a corruption/cleansing mechanic in which, when you take a fell stronghold, you can "cleanse" it and basically change the visual aspects of your keep (crumbling buildings, decorations, etc.) and vice versus for fell lords of course.
Mount and blade is such a unique game series. It's a genre on its own. I wish there were competitors though. I think having competition would help Bannerlord.
I think so too. TW has unfortunately fumbled the ball. There's been so many delays on their latest update.
We're familiar wit the term wasted potential here in Turkey unfortunately
hire a engineer, a scout(to make it easier to find portals and herdstones, maybe it works?), and maybe create a mounted magic squad who rides around and throws fireball and other spells.
When it comes to troop composition, I think you should honestly just do a full squad knights. I know the upkeep and lack of range would hurt but it would be great to just see like 200 knights come over a hill to run down some cultists
Man this mod is absolutely incredible, the blood keep looks great, inside and out
Funny enough, this series and mod made me play Bannerlord for the first time after years of watching, and of course; my first playthrough ever was this mod.
I made Helga Frauscharf, a merchant-engineer that knows pretty much nothing of personal combat (reflected by me not knowing anything about the controls) but also an enthusiasm for things that go boom, from cannon balls, to the mini-explosions from Handguns.
The start, was painful, I kept getting ganked by the swarms of cultists and deserters, usually paying them to piss off just so I could go from one town to the next to scrounge up some recruits. (very unintentionally in-character, but still funny). That merchant background really came in clutch when I could join battles where it was overwhelmingly in the Empire's favor against those very same brigands, cultists, etc. Making a decent amount of money. Soon recruits became archers, archers became skirmishers, and skirmishers became handgunners, and I could finally go out on my own!
Now, instead of seeing all of those roaming enemies as threats, Helga saw them as big piles of walking money waiting to be picked up. 20 men turned into 50, and then 50 into 80. And I had the problem that all merchants love to have. I had too much money for my little sub 100 men army. I went and hired, a witch hunter because "Hey! Those are cool!" But with a closer look, he had a flintlock, but not the weapon skill to USE the flintlock. So I gave him a longbow and some masterpiece arrows I picked off a Beastmen, I should get him a crossbow sometime, but I just keep forgetting. Then I hired a bright wizard, a light wizard, a celestial wizard, and a healer. I see them wave their hands at the start of a battle, and even get some kills; so they can stay.
I was confidant enough to go out and raid some Sylvanian villages, and then immediately ran away after fucking MANFRED HIMSELF came to QRF me, so I scurried back to a nearby Empire stronghold to wait it out... I then went to try and join that faction, only to realize that they're NOT AT WAR with any of the Empire? And I can't join said faction because I'm at war with the Vampires, and making peace is far our of my price range.
So, I left the vampire borders to go do that Master Engineer Quest I heard about, was able to buy several books with my insane amount of money, did the quest, bought a cannon, and blasted a few dozen cultists with glee. Then, I realized that Apprentice Engineers could become Nuln Ironsides, so I now had something to dump my money on to train them up; all in time for Wissenland to FINALLY declare war on the Vampires, I pledged myself to Wissenland, wondered why the Empire was paying tribute to Wissenland, and why Wissenland was paying tribute to Averheim I joined a siege, voted on myself to get a castle, and now I have a castle.
All in all, lots of fun, lots of roleplay, and all thanks to you! Keep up the good work.
Awesome roleplay but as a German, I must ask: Why is she named Lady Sharp? 😂🤔 I would go with something like Helga von Schlag since she likes to blow things up 😂
@EinDeutscherPatriot620 There was this lady in the flashgame Relic of War named "Lt Helga Frauscharf" and since it was one of the first times I saw bewebies on the internet the name has stuck.

@@originalcharacterplznostea2749 it does. Spicy is Scharf/Würzig. Spicy as Scharf means it's very hot and burns the tongue. Würzig means it has lots of spices but is tasty. I struggle with translating English to German and vice versa, so I tend to look at it literally. I'd need more context in a sentence to understand that Scharf in the sentence would be used as spicy instead of sharp
Very well done indeed. I will add that the Lady blessed you. This is demonstrated by the fact that you were gifted an opportunity to attack the Blood Dragons. The previous adventurer I observed playing this Mod. ReformistTM, could not persuade his faction to attack the Blood Dragons no matter how many times tried, or no matter how much strength he added, in the final ep he left the faction and marched straight there but not using the retreat option, he ran out of men before his enemy did.
Mind you if you plan on your character getting hitched in this run, 'Get yourself a nice Brettonian castle or town first,' You'll have constant domestic strife if she has to live there.

Imagine being a Lord of Bretonnia, some Mercenary Knight decides to swear loyalty to you, and you tell him to Take Blood Keep, and he does so in under 2 months.
As for what we do next, obviously we find a bride for Roland and a Steward for Blood Keep.
A Halfling Bride if possible, for amusement.

Mr. Surreal. I am not sure if you have been there BUT if you want a tough battle, there is a Chaos Portal around Averheim and Chaos Raiders there are pretty strong. :)

@@SurrealBeliefs I see. Well if you are aproaching Averheim from Nuln, and you rotate the map so that Averheim is right in front of you, it should be on the right side of Averheim on these big green planes.
I was thinking you could rename the Blood Keep to Château de la Dame. It's French for Castle of the Lady. We could also pretend that you MASSIVELY gut the keep and transform it from a dead keep to a Temple Citadel dedicated to the lady

Yeah the siege was interesting. If you want a fun challenge, the Chaos Portal in Averland is worth a try later on when you get more forces.
Or maybe a campaign against the vampires.

There are certain cities you can go to and find people who will train your characters in spells they're attuned to. You can probably find a wiki. Great series
If you do a vampire playthrough the spells are crazy

If you do an empire playthrough of this mod, I think it would be cool if you played as a Warhammer fantasy Gotz of the Ironhand. A mercenary (possibly also an engineer) who just fights for whoever he wants and would hire anyone(other than chaos). Mostly I just hope to see an empire playthrough of this mod sometime regardless of what you choose to do.
Maybe rename the Blood Keep to a French name like Sanguine Chateau?
Château Sanguin, in correct French :) good idea, too bad the blood keep is not really working if you are not a vampire…
@@DeBeuLioU I would imagine it would be a good idea to make it possible to alter the interior and exterior of settlements you take in bannerlord because that is something many of them did.

Just finished a playthrough of TOR and 2 things: the hangouts keep appearing, you can’t clear them fast enough, it just seem to be how it is… and what made me stop was that it’s impossible to build up the blood keep as a non vamp, even if you recruit a vamp for governor. You get a giant loyalty malus that prevent you from building anything and your garrison end up starving…

@@SurrealBeliefs you and me both lol ^^ the blood keep as a whole needs rework. The siege is easily cheeseable and there needs to be a way to cleanse it or something, it’s such a cool place…
Went as far as kicking a companion out to recruit a vampire in Sylvania but you still get the « not vampire » debuff…
@@SurrealBeliefs also, i tried many things, and serve as soldier doesn’t work on 1.2 sadly… would be awesome to serve in the beginning, that mod is really cool and it would work great with bretonians and empire :)
@@DeBeuLioU I agree! I wish there were some more submods that worked with 1.2 but evidently that was an especially turbulent version from what I understand.

I know I'm not subscribed, BUT I have a companion creation request. I'm not good at telling backstories so I will keep it simple. A Brettonian knight with a demi-gryph mount. His "Self Given" name is Caiden Morgenstern (His real name is Phillippe Gaultier) He's the bastard son of an Empire demi-gryph knight father and Brettonian noble mother. He is still TECHNICALLY a squire but is on a "Quest" to acquire a demi-gryph in order to follow in his father's footsteps. He can start out as an Infantryman (I want him to EARN that mount and knightly title) and look however you wish. Thank you.
your runefang is actually the faster of the swords. you're just looking at it as a one handed weapon, click on "two handed" in the item card to see it's stats as the two hander, which is higher than it's default one handed.

Hey surreal great victory may Roland prosper more.so does that mean you will work under the duke to be honest he is not doing a good job he sent you to conquer bloods keep on your own and he was not there to see this great victory in his dukedoms history very shameful for a leader

Orcs and Norsemen are must haves for me.
Guessing we will get orcs, elves and dwarves before that, but they don’t seem to go by popularity, so why not :)

How to install the mod. I'm having trouble with the instructions
1.) Right click on Bannerlord in your Steam game list.
2.) Go to properties then beta.
3.) Enable 1.2.0 for your beta version.
4.) Follow the load order for the mod on their Steam page.
5.) Upon launching, it has to build the shader cache. This can take up to hours.
W8ing for the nord facrion and the ice queen or tzar or something like sturgian enhanced version
The reality is you can do a knights only army grail knights are that powerfull with all the carear perks

I have to work on a sponsorship which is delaying it for me. I'm working on it -- I have the Iron Throne doing, now doing the Ansur dragon stuff. If I'm lucky and finish my Rogue Trader work, I can have it out tomorrow.
Its pretty repetitive, every play through is quite similar
New mods, we should see a wider range of attacks like magic
To be fair, that's true of games like Total War, Crusader Kings, etc.
