Was waiting for this episode to come out. Im not really into the miniatures of 40k so much as I am the lore, videogames and books. My favorite chapter is the Salamanders because of Vulkan and their kind nature to protect the civilians. In a grimdark universe, it’s comforting to see some humanity, even if it’s fleeting.
Don’t forget there is comfort in being a walking bonfire starter it nice and quiet once the dark elder stop whining about the burning ( fire starter by prodigy starts blasting)
I enjoy the lore and stories of loyalist astartes from traitor legions the most (Rylanor is based af), but my favourite space marine chapters are The Lamenters, followed by the Flesh Tearers and Swords of Blood.
Those Krootox are a great addition, they're an avtual damgerous unit that dont just get molly-wopped straight sway. Theyll let the other units shine too!
I personally love the Black Templars and their father legion the imperial Fists. Not only do they have unique lore, I'm a big fan of the Space Crusader vibe. On the tabletop I think the idea of the Emperors Champion is just super sick. Staying alive long enough for some melee can be a little challenging depending on the opposing army though.
Grey Knights are my favorite chapter, Salamaders and Space Wolves are tied for second, death guard are 3rd. I was so happy to see this episode pop up, Enough time passed, I was a bit worried it might evaporate like other series have. I'm really enjoying this series a lot. It's one of the best Xcom series I have seen yet! Great work Sir glad to see the series continue!
I play the Black Templars. Anytime I play, I play as the Emperor's Champion on the board. I love their lore and their set up. They zealously fight like Crusaders of old and while they give up Librarians because they dont trust warp magic or those that use it, They more than make up for it as an overall Chapter. Read any of their lore or stories, they are a breed apart.

Favorite chapter salamanders. Why? let me just say giving a weapon a family and a need to rescue human lives and jesus christ you have the deadliest weapon known to man. They legit are called the emperors sacrifices but the most impressive feat of there chapter? Holding off the greatest ork wagh without there primarch for YEARS. this is MILLIONS of Orks not hundreds of thousands not 1 or 2 million MILLIONS.

A decent way on dealing with the krootox is to stun them, it gives you a moment to gather your troops without getting massive damage.

Space marine chapter favourites: Dark Angels with their secrets, Black Templars for their no-nonsense attitude and Imperial Fists for digging in!
As a Norwegian, Space Wolves are my Favorite Chapter. Favorite Faction is IMPERIAL GUARD, I refuse to use the official name.

I play imperial guard also, but also play Raven Guard, run a mechanized guardsmen, then drop scions with valkyries and drop pod raven guard.
I prefer Sisters and Imperial Guard, but Salamanders seem nice enough.

My main army is tau but I have a force of salamanders, my AoS army is seraphon Dinosaur people riding Dinosaurs.
It is kinda weird to see 5 marines each of different chapter with one little death korps commissar in the same team...
