Best practices are to give external air supply to actuator and open 50% and at that time, the positioner feedback link should be (horizontal -----------------)

If double acting actuator then check actuator passing and remove spool clean it and refix it....check the gasket once

If there is any error, you need to rectify that 1st ...

Check the polarity once and remove one wire and check voltage in series, then you will know any problem with PCB ....

Only you can adjust realy in 6200, other smart positioner having different options for little adjustments...ABB I/P can be adjusted... need to go through those instruments..

Both are totally different 1. Volume booster used for large actuator for quick response or speed operation. (can be used in the control valve as well as in on/off valves ) 2. SOV are used for operating on/off valves and in some applications used to block the path (safety interlock)

Keep positioner operating mode to 1.1 .. Check the feedback cable and current mA cable once ... Sometimes cable can be interchanged ...

@@instrumentationandsolution5013 checked in 1.1 it's working fine and also able to operate in local mode. Only in remote mode it's not operating. ps. it's a profibus PA device

If the flow tube is empty then sometimes the flow transmitter shows values.. earthing.. and external induction... Or flow converter/ transmitter having issue

Check Parameter -3.0 minimum range should be zero% and maximum should be 100%, and what is the parameter selection of 2.0 and 2.2 ... If possible update me 2.0, 2.2 and 3.0 parameter...

U can do a manual stroke check with the local buttons ... It's very easy... Through hart also u can simulation.. if the positioner has any issue then it will not operate ...

Check the zero trimming option, before doing zero ensure the outlet valve should close properly and the flow tube should be filled with process fluid...

If Spool is having issues, u will get an error then you can clean the spool, dead angle linearization never done .. need to check once ..

I never did with hart ... If it's communicating then u can start the simulation with changing DIP switch position according to positioner model ...

You need to check in the field..remove installed one and fix the repair one .. this is general practice.. some companies can provide a test bench for troubleshooting ...

@@sanojkumar-ty3rf may be .. but in manual mode if it is opening or closing them hunting will be there while operating, so in parameters 7 u can increase dead band..

PT1000 RTD used for cold junction compensation, u need to put atmospheric temperature ( the resistance value around 1110 to 1120 ohms)

Did you checked feedback adapter tightness and POT resistance, issue may in feedback part....check properly once again ...
