What's up my beautiful people!? Marathon prep #2 is complete! What I called the Renaissance... the rebirth.. COMPLETE! After running Boston last year as my first marathon that I trained to race and missing the sub 3 hour marathon by a minute and thirty four seconds, the fire was lit and I knew the next one had to be the one. Marathon training has taught me so much and it's been so fun to experience a new side of running like this. I think I'm done with marathons for a little while now haha. Thank you all for your support on and off the course! Love y'all.

    No mention of settings? Multiband, all systems, gps only? Standardizing the settings would give you a more realistic take on the watches. Not all watches use multiband as the default.

    Ugh! I can keep 175-185 cadence on treadmill and have good form but outdoors I can’t control my pace which leads to bad form/low cadence

    I think I’ll do all the skipping and jumping exercises on my rebounder to decrease the pounding since my knees are still pretty sensitive. Plus,it will add balance/proprioception and foot strengthening to the exercise. I’ve been marching and starting to run on it to rehab before being able to run on treadmill or hard ground. You’re the best and hope to meet you someday!

    Hellah you were so much faster than me in this block - I was training for a sub 2:50 and there was no way I could keep up with some of your paces in training. However, last week in London I surprised myself and ran a 2:45:30. The only thing that I did differently to you in the build up was I took my taper a lot more seriously than you did - I remember seeing you do an 8 mile speed session on the Tuesday before the race and I think you logged 40 or so miles by the Saturday. In comparison I logged 16 in the week building up to the race. I honestly think you have the speed to break 2:45 easily and even break 2:40 but I don’t understand why you didn’t taper more aggressively. To me it seems like you ran the race on tired legs. Anyways I’m not trying to be negative or anything I just want you to break 2:45 next time! Congrats on the pr though!
