terrible advice for young people. i quit a job i hated when i was 22 and that spiralled me into 6 months of depression, with no income, and it took me a year to get back in a good spot. please sort your midlife crisis out in private, im sorry you regret not traveling more in your 20s

I understand their fears and their pain, they are struggling cause the first day of quitin are just for warriors and you need to be brave and not to feel fear Cause you feel alone and wants to everybody be high as you to not feel like you are the only one who are runnin When I quit alchohol people who are my friends they go away, now that i quit W the last of them disappear And that’s cause they can’t have a relationship whitout consumin Thanks for the video it helps a lot

Hey I have been watching your videos for a minute and I wanted to know your advice on this topic for someone who is just starting out, I'm still in college studying comp. eng. and am already highly considering doing something similar to you travel and/or leave the us, however the major thing that would be holding me back is leaving family/extended family any advice/words of wisdom on this?

Idk man, don't want to hate, but its easier earning the strong dollar while having foreign cost of living vs the locals who have to do more with less. The U.S has its problems, but it gives you your dollars. Not advising people do things or feel bad about it, its just what it is. I also think its not as bad as the internet makes it seem.

im in that situation i cant smoke weed if i dont light a cig after,,, its always the same... this will be the last gram for the week and i quit.. then i smoke the gram in couple days and im buying another... at least i quit alcohol but smoking its harder i think

I went from a smoking every night person to a smoking only on weekends person. While my dependency was never as severe as yours, I was experiencing negative side effects and realized after a couple years that I needed to make a change. Now I only smoke on weekends and there’s been numerous benefits, but the most drastic one is my ability to retain information has improved immensely.

Reminder to use everything in moderation! I didn’t quit but I cut back to 3 days a week and it’s been working so much better for me. Much love to all of you who want to quit or cut back!

I’m 23 and I also regret spending last 4 years playing video games and not making. A channel about it I was super addicted i could’ve really made an income if I had done it I also regret not making TikTok in 2020 When everyone was on social media A lot of opportunities missed But now I’m still in my 20s I’m learning everything from AI to editing to content creation Since I won’t get those years back Im thinking about making vids about my experience playing those games Using AI for some of the things I’m also planing to make TikTok account for going viral I also plan on doing different niches I have so many things to do

Idk man I have no desire to live outside of the US.. it has its problems like every country but sometimes (financially speaking) that’s because most Americans have to constantly keep up with the Jones’ and don’t find jobs they like and always buy the best of everything for them and their families and then go and get themselves in lots of debt; then these people have bad attitudes (which I’m sure you can find these people in any country btw). You can definitely live a very happy experience-full life with your family and friends here in America if you work hard and keep a good mindset. I’m proud to be American and love our country even though yes many flaws exist. & I say all this even though I do think the government is corrupt and the current President is a joke. There is so much opportunity here if you just expand your horizons. Good luck though. I hope you’re living it up!

The big first step for me was not buying vapes; it was waaaaay too easy, convenient, and accessible to smoke at any time and anywhere in the day. Try moving it to night time use at first, and make it more inconvenient for yourself to smoke. (force yourself to go outside, don't pre-grind your nugs, spend that portion of your budget towards weed money on healthy groceries, hobbies, etc.) For my fellow econ nerds, increase your Transaction Costs of smoking weed. Weed is much easier relative to other harder drugs to go cold turkey on, but this may increase the chance of a relapse, so I am much more in favor of weaning it down gradually as opposed to dropping it entirely. I use this same process with losing weight, another personal and likely lifelong struggle of mine. I totally agree with you Dorian about the exacerbation of anxiety and depression symptoms, it's reduced in the short run while you're stonie bolognaied, but when you have to go about your responsibilities, you are just simply not operating at your true potential. I want to be comfortable in my own skin, I want to feel pride, I want to be happy just being me. Let's get sober y'all, if I can do this, you definitely can, trust me. Two weeks in for me, and it's getting much easier, definitely momentum based.

You are so right about that fear! I recently resigned from my six-figure sales “career” to pursue my passion. The #1 reason was because I began having literal dreams (nightmare even) of being on my death bed, looking back on my life, and feeling regret that I didn’t have the courage to break free from the golden handcuffs to pursue my true purpose. It started happening more and more as I approached my 40th birthday, and I couldn’t take it anymore! Yes, I am living paycheck to paycheck now, but I’ve never felt more alive. This is 💯 truth! 🙌

I'm going through a very similar experience, and I'm at a point where I'm aware I could very well be in denial, I'm just genuinely not sure if I am... It's really hard... I'm not sure how this will help yet, but I'm sure it has... I'm very grateful and don't forget you really are helping people. 🫶

2 things here, I can't speak for all of SE Asia but I can speak for Thailand and Philippines because I am here. Their are thousands of western men in their 50s 60s 70s and even 80s running around here on scooters with pretty young ladies half their age on the back. I know because I'm one of them. I'm 60yo, no medications and can do whatever I want with no limits although maybe a bit slower at times than in my 20s. Second, the vast majority of Americans and Canadians are simply not interested in spending their time and resources in Asia but would rather travel to Europe instead. I spent 4 years traveling Europe recently and the amount of senior nomads is plentiful. Europe is much closer to their roots and many older people want to learn where they came from. The weather in Europe is much better for older people to explore. The real tragedy here is not aging but younger people 30s 40s and 50s bodies falling apart because or their terrible soy sugar wheat corn and processed food diet they grew up on. I can see the doom and gloom thinking young people have because they are consumed with social media crap. The "I want it now" generation needs to understand us older folks grew up in the 70s with insane inflation and high unemployment. Oh ya we were told in the 70s we are heading into an ice age and the earth would be solid ice by now.

Everything he said but especially since continuing homeschooling my son since the pandemic, our lives have opened to a new way to exist. I've been clearing out our belongings to prepare for traveling abroad and when we decide where we'll choose to exist for a while.

I lived abroad few times, one thing to consider is health insurance, while you are young it is all great, but if you want to retire and live in another country make sure you can afford private health care in the country you are living in. I have seen some horror stories when I lived in Bangkok. With that being said, I am still looking to move abroad.

Once you get ordered around by an abusive manager at work whom you know FOR A FACT is dumber, WAYYY DUMBER than you, you will start to rethink your life choices. You are not entitled by saying youre not working your 9-5, you are still working, even youtube is still work (though some people does meaningless work like those mukbang shit). You are still working, though differently and with more freedom. With this work you get to share more meaningful ideas for people to ponder about (emphasis on meaningful).

Funny thing is, I kinda realize this years ago. Working in retail and seeing young and old people's almost dead eyes made me think of that silly but probably true meme I read. "The phrase earning a living means you do not deserve to live in the first place."

American politics is relevant to every country on Earth, so if you feel like you are far away from it, that's just because you are enjoying a temporary state of ignorance. I live in the Balkans, and I watch the politics in the US more closely than our own, as our city states can't really make any independent decisions anyway.

Been sober for small timeframes too since I was like 15. 50 years old now. I am day three solid now and I've done a month before but man... feeling better just chucked my dumb arse back into it. Did that like 20 times. This time it's gonna stick. Thank you for the video. I am leaning on many of you and your experiences that we all share. HUGE help. No more gut rot damnit! I will say this... regular burn outs with just flower are not as bad - its the liquids. Those 100mg concentrates really put me in the hurt box. I was up to 300mg and damn it was not fun afterward with the stomach grime.

I'm 5 months sober again, my closest friend started getting some distance from me about 6 years ago just because of it. Now I realize how bad it is to rely on any drugs in your daily life. Sure it feels nice and numb, but you don't get anything significant done anymore. People say to me that I can't consume it anymore without disaster happening to me, but I hope a year from now I can consume it once or twice a month, just because it feels good to detach from life.
