Yep, I find this video SOOOOOOO RELATABLE!!!!!! I’m Filipino, and my mom watches these Americans who move out of the USA and into the Philippines and live there. They absolutely love it there more than the US, and probably work there, or maybe do remote work. But most of the western foreigner my mom watches are travel vloggers. Personally, I want to move OUT OF USA, because of rising crime rates in America and Cost of Living. I want to live in Japan instead, where life isn’t as archaic and housing is cheaper. But that’s unfortunately, AFTER I FINISH COLLEGE and FIND A HIGH INCOME JOB and ESTABLISHED CAREER. Also, Japan is closer to the Philippines, which is where my ethnic background originated, even if I was US-born. People love the Philippines so much, but I would personally only go there for frequent holiday vacations while residing in Japan, where housing is half the price of US. I just want to have a job in a higher income country than the Philippines, even if the Philippines is a beautiful country.

Idk man I have no desire to live outside of the US.. it has its problems like every country but sometimes (financially speaking) that’s because most Americans have to constantly keep up with the Jones’ and don’t find jobs they like and always buy the best of everything for them and their families and then go and get themselves in lots of debt; then these people have bad attitudes (which I’m sure you can find these people in any country btw). You can definitely live a very happy experience-full life with your family and friends here in America if you work hard and keep a good mindset. I’m proud to be American and love our country even though yes many flaws exist. & I say all this even though I do think the government is corrupt and the current President is a joke. There is so much opportunity here if you just expand your horizons. Good luck though. I hope you’re living it up!

Bingo! Especially when you consider that the average house in the U.S. has exploded in size in recent years. Now like 2500+ square feet is the average when it used to be like 1000 square feet. I have a modest home with a cheap mortgage payment, nice front yard and 4 bedrooms. About 1200 square feet and 3 kids running around the yard. It's perfect for us and we certainly don't need a McMansion. Americans take so much for granite and like you said, lots of Americans have $hitty attitudes and are not thankful.

However, if you're into drugs or alcohol, this isn't the place for you since they are prohibited. Otherwise, everything is great here. As a developer, you can find good job opportunities because the tech industry is growing, and Western professionals are highly respected.
As an American citizen, If you are thinking about living outside the US, there are mainly three options: Europe, Asia, and Africa.
    - in Europe: You'll face similar issues to those in the US, as European policies and laws closely mirror American ones.
    - in Africa: Due to the impact of European colonization, many regions are impoverished, making it a challenging place to live.
    - in Asia: This continent offers a variety of options. I chose Saudi Arabia.

Also the politics are insanely (and purposely) divisive and obsessed with things that are a non-issue in most other developed OECD countries (women's rights, LGBT, etc..) Yeah idk what I'm gonna do, I rather just go where I have a partner who wants to go the same place, but I'm still single-ish lol, who i'm interested may still wanna be in the U.S but a different city, but I like the idea of going to another continent for once. Won't be anytime soon, but I do despise all the many issues mentioned too.. from education, health and.. politics.. I would lean more democrat but the hard left seems worse than any side of the right tbh.. kinda rather not vote lol.

Believe me It's a blessing that you were born in the US. Can't you see all of those people crossing continents to come illegally, just to live in the US despite obstacles like racism and discrimination.
It's all about Capital, those who own the capital own it all. That's why Owners who arguably put in the least effort take most of the prize. Same situation with the capital being concentrated in a few countries in the world.
But, I agree with you, the best case scenario is making money in the US (Remotely included) and spending it elsewhere.

Everywhere could be better. Weirdly enough, and from recent stuff, i finf America less and less free because of the pursuit of money. We never learned how to properly spend it and people are easily exploited, especially because the u.s is so big. The goverment has also gotten too big.
The u.s, if it stayed what it was dreamed ti be, is a small national goverment, a bigger state goverment, and your town/city woukd have the most infuence on your life and you it. Now nearly every town is "big" with thousands of people. Money is siphoned away to some other land.
I agree, we make good money, but for what? I think some places went to far, and so have a harder life.
One thing thats not mentioned is how powerful America is. We have an army, anyome who is our ally we defend with our army, so they dont need to spend as much on their own. Freeing up money for all their free whatever. This is huge, when shit hits the fan, America will have control of a good portion of the world. Power...at what cost.
