Here, I contributed to your open source CZcams channel.
😂
I've also thought of open source but I haven't given it much thought.
This looks very nice to me. I haven't even finished watching the video but I like it 😀
Eddie has a lot of info on open source make sure to check out his channel @eddiejaoude
@@DorianDevelops I already follow him but this is the first time I've heard him talk .
Why? has programming lead you to where u want to be? You think its still a good path? Because last i checked u were trying to run away from all this.
I'm not "running" away from programming and I'm still building stuff with code, I'm just building my own things now. I'm just trying to not be an employee for the rest of my life. I think software development is awesome but working as a dev takes a lot of the fun out of it because most of the job becomes meetings and dealing with business rather than writing code and building software.
its not like there are much other skills to utilize on if you want to go digital nomad/independent
He's was trying to avoid corporate job .
Btw he's building a travel guide kinda website, so i guess he is still using programming
Hype about contributing to OpenSource often hurts the OS and contributors. People shouldn't feel or be treated worse for not contributing. I see people contributing for the sake of contributing which is missing the point of OSS.

Will AI take our dev jobs? Nvidia ceo says to NOT learn code. 😢
Check out TechLead yt channel. He's the only dev youtuber that I agree with. In short, I wouldn't waste your time learning to code. But a lot of people disagree with me, and I don't know everything. Just my most honest opinion.
AI can't do anything in legacy code bases. If you want to learn to program and actually enjoy doing that, there will always be opportunity for you. If you just write html and css and do basic stuff, your job could probably be automated in a few years from now idk.
@@Icedanon so what are some carrier options that you would recommend?
@sevenStar_211 A quote from an ai scientist I heard lately was, "Ai can write as many books as you want it to, but it will never write the book you would write." You have a unique human experience that has inherent value. I would guess that if you want to ai proof yourself, you would want to leverage that idea. However, if you want to get rich and happen to be smart, I would look for unique ways to create value by using AI, crypto or any other viable resources to create something you can sell and scale. However, depending on your situation, the reality of this path, if you know basically nothing, is a lot like being lost in a desert and randomly picking a direction in hopes of finding an oasis. Keeping an eye out and being smart and creative will get you far, but understand that a lot of people die in this desert.
@@Icedanon wtf was all that? Oasis desert 🏜️
