I have wrist mirrors. Seem to work great! Used to use them snowmobiling…. Usually can find them for around $10 online.
Are you still doing these types of sit downs?
You are a huge inspiration!!
Hi from The Algarve in Portugal, where we retired. Its nice to watch you through your journey, coming to grips with EUC riding. Very envious that you get to live in The Keys . As a relative newcomer myself to euc'ing I'm finding your take on your journey both interesting and entertaining. --- I feel your joy!
Keep riding brother, you got a beautiful wheel. I ride a Patton and I do wish I had a Lynx :) Keep up the rides, your skill will grow and it will even become way more fun!
Your one step closer to mastering the Lynx! I also struggle with holding the selfie stick while riding. Practice makes perfect I guess. Another awesome video sir, thank you for sharing.
You way too much in your head. Everything you fear and is very alert over is false/an illusion that don't exist, but one you made up in your own head.
What a beautiful place to ride. That's daily therapy right there! Glad you've got the Lynx under control.
Full watch. I have a Onyx RCR and can go 50-60 mph lol. But I never ride like that on a path.
I feel you. I had a dualtron eagle pro that did 40 or so but I rode that in the street. Eventually when I get my speed up I’ll be riding this in the street too. The speed limit here’s only 35.
Road angle on larger wheels really throws you off for a couple days but you learn to adjust fast. You have some gorgeous views on your ride, adding a pin to the map to go ride around the keys.
Thank you my friend!! Definitely felt the shift but it’s all good. I’m going back over there today to get a little more experience with it. Growth happens in the uncomfortable situations 🙌🏾
Great ride and views! Awesome place to ride! Glad you’re getting out in the real world cruising around! As a new rider, I’m similar on the mounting. Where usually good but sometimes a little sketchy. Seems like the more I think about it the more sketch the mount. When I just take off and go it’s usually better!
Thank you my friend!! Same. When I don’t think about it it’s natural. Just gotta keep pushing. We’ll get there!!
To quote Kate Holiday, "You big coward".
Dude im guna be road trippin out to the Winman race in wisconsin in september and then im guna drive down to north arkansas to ride the Bentonville trails, you should totally road trip out to bentonville and we should hit those trails man! It probly is a long drive from key west tho but look up some vids on bentonville it is suppose to be super badass man and worth the trip
I wish man. Thank you for the invite 💯 Almost 24 hours away driving. That’s a long 1. I probably couldn’t keep up anyway.
@@therealbergexperience5640 yeah it is long haha. Its 34 hours for me to wisconsin alone lol, guna take 2 weeks for road trippin tho. But for sho buddy, keep killin it on the EUC!
Beautiful riding conditions. To a great extent foot fatigue will take care of itself with time, but you can fine tune the foot stress with pedal tilt either forward or back. Try moving your feet forward or backward or turn feet outward more or less (duck footed), but make small adjustments. Everyone's built different. When are you going to start having EUC tours (ie Marty Bache)🤣 I just read that RogerEUC and others had this issue and Leaperkim believes the headlight is putting off an EMF.
Thank you my friend!! I’m still figuring out how exactly I want my feet positioned. I’m gonna keep trying different things to see what feels best. With the headlight I’m not even gonna use the 1 on the EUC. I’ll be good with the grizzlas.
Yeeee, gettin it!! Mashin in the real world now, you be flyin down the street/sidewalk in frickin no time now dude. It aint no onewheel haha but its still cool, and u makin some good progress buddy!
Trying to get there. The more I ride the better I should get. I’ll keep at it. I enjoy it. That’s for sure. Getting ready to try to do a 30 mile run. No camera for once. Just focusing on the wheel. Should be a fun adventure.
@@therealbergexperience5640 siiick! That should be a frickin trek and a half man haha. Better get some doctor sholes in them shoes for that one lol
Nice chill ride!!😎 Thanks brother!!🙏
Thank you my friend!!
This is a dope video brother. Good work man. Doing it. I enjoy watching your videos. I love the vibe. And you are very safe and patient. Which is important in this sport
Thank you my guy!! Getting there little by little. I think ima try me a long ride here soon. Only way to get better. Keep the vids coming Homie!!
I’m 56 ,absolute love riding Onewheel. Almost unexplainable freedom and joy while riding. I have the pint, pint x and GT. All are fantastic. Really appreciate the GT for myself weighing in at 6’ tall , 205 lbs. my wife rides Apollo Phantom scooter, the GT gives me good cruising speed and distance. Thanks for your video, I’m up in Edmonton Canada.
For sure my friend!! I know the feeling. Love my GT. My go to transport. The way I can control it. Truly an extension to my feet. Keep shredding it up my friend 🙌🏾
Build yourself a ramp. Work smarter, not harder.
Absolute excellent idea. Wasn’t even think of it. Thank you my friend!!
Great job my dude! Finally got a chance to watch your new lynx video. Keep getting out on it looks like a very nice ride. I’ll be getting one real soon! I been up at the lake riding the Floatwheel around in the mornings before going out on the boat. :)
Thank you my guy. I’m on it every chance I get. Sounds like you living life the correct way 🙌🏾 we only live once. Gotta enjoy it. I wanted a floatwheel. Got the Lynx instead. Who knows what the future holds!!
@@therealbergexperience5640 this is very true! :)
a little bit every day and soon it will feel natural, you got this.
Thank you my friend!! I jump on it every chance I get 🙌🏾
Hey brother, I would definitely invest in some of shoulder pads chest protection back protection.you have a super wheel man it's not a beginner wheel so you need super gear not beginner gear or no gear.Like your attitude OG
Thank you Homie!! I’m bout to go down the rabbit hole of reviews to see which are best. I have to get a few things for protection and that’s 1st on the list. I’m on it 🙌🏾
Look at you go on that Lynx! Woohoo! It pays off to keep working at it thats for sure. I feel the same way about trying to relax. I'm constantly reminding myself to relax and it does help. Great video and thank you for sharing!
Thank you for watching my friend!! I’m 1 of those people that literally talks to myself all day 😂 full blown conversations 🤣
You should go to a empty parking lot and practice turning into each parking space Or go to a basketball court and practice turning circles around the half court or foul line circle and turn as tight as you can. And then do figure 8's. How I turn when riding is 'counter-steer' like you would on a Bicycle or motorcycle...Brake a lil, then lean slightly in the opposite direction then lean in the direction you are turning. Watch a video how EUC racers or Motorcycle racer turn corners...counter-steer We do on a bicycle million times but never really stop to break down what we are actually doing.
All of is mental bro. Get out of your own head. If you tell yourself you can't do it and it is scary, then it will be. If you tell yourself you can do it and it is nothing, then it will be I speak from experience.
I’ll keep it mind but you know how it is my friend. I’ll get there eventually. Thank you for sure!!
Awesome 😎 thanks brother!!🙏
Great video! I got a pintx about a month ago (my first onewheel) and just ordered a veteran patton today!
Is that your 1st EUC as well? I love my Onewheel. That’s what I ride when I need to safe. The EUC is a whole different journey. I’m finally able to ride the Lynx. Good luck on your journey my friend.
Good to see you moving on to the lynx thanks for sharing
Thank you my friend!! I’m super excited to be able to get out the ride. I want to hit some long rides!!
I think I have found 6 turtles when out riding over the years In the road
🙌🏾 That’s my 2nd turtle 🐢
You won't even notice the weight once riding. It only feels heavy while mounting/dismounting. Man, you've got this. Don't get cocky but you've got this. Short of a pot hole or a mechanical failure this is a safe activity at moderate speeds. Be mindful, on cooler rides, if you wear a jacket, if it's partially unzipped it can become a parachute in a strong crosswind.
Thank you my friend. I keep reminding myself not to get cocky. Over confidence is a killer. I’ll get there though. Now that I can actually ride I jump on it every chance I get. Love it. Gonna go for a spin right now.
Look at my last paragraph. I was editing when you were reading.
👍
Thank you my friend!!
Loving the video updates man. Have you tried putting your rear pads a little higher/closer to the center of your calves? It may help with some of those wobbles.
The pads at this point are there just to protect the wheel 😂 I know they’re not positioned right. Now that you mention it I’m gonna move em around a bit and see what feels good. Thank you my dude!!
@@therealbergexperience5640 😂
My dude you doing it up. That’s it all you need is practice and experience. The more you ride more comfortable you will feel. Just master slow speed. Work on dis mounting and mounting. Work on turning. And definitely work on braking. Yea man the wind is no joke that’s another obstacle we need to watch out for. Great job man! Btw I like the shirt.
Thank you my guy!! I’m getting there. Little by little. I’m just glad I’m on it. Now I wanna pick it up every time I go outside. Getting ready to work on them skills now. Mounting, dismounting, and turning. I’m hooked. Thank you Homeboy!!
I forgot my wrist guards too one day. It sucks bc you don't feel as confident and don't wanna push as hard.
You already know Homie. It’s 1 of them things you can picture 😂 busted wrists. I done seen so many people put their hands out there instinctively. Snap 🤕 with the wrist guards I feel safer. Dressed for the slide 💯
@@Rocket510 Yes, more gear enables you to grow skill’s faster, simply because of the added safety factor expands your performance envelope.
@@therealbergexperience5640 Fa real doe!
After a while, you realize you don't need pads and helmet when staying under 25 mph...I even wear sandals some days while riding. Don't do anything crazy, ride a reliable wheel that won't cut out for no reason and you be fine
@@grb1969 Exactly!
Damn, that thing looks super sketch and difficult to learn. But it looks like you're getting the hang of it. Mos def harder to ryde than a Onewheel. "Every day I don't eat shit is a good day." 😂 That's real talk for any PEV! 👊🏾✌🏾🚀
Definitely super sketchy. Definitely harder than the Onewheel. Although the Onewheel is still the shit. I love that thing. It’s my go to for sure. You never forget the days you eat 💩 plays in your head vividly 🤣 in slow motion. I remember all of em 😂
@@therealbergexperience5640 Exactly! Me too! But what's important is we get back up and ryde!
Yes, wind does suck. It’s an advanced skill that will require much more experience. The biggest bang for your learning buck (right now) is riding on a slightly bumpy grass field or dirt road. Your body will relax naturally when you’re mind develops the intuitive sense that you can recover, no matter what bumps may change your trajectory. Rolling down the road lends a false sense of security, until that hidden pothole sneaks up on you, and you get tossed. The constant slight perturbations of a “grassy field” will accelerate your ability to recover from those other obstacles like pot-holes, railroading and wind-gusts. Let’s see some figure-8s on grass! It makes for better video too! Bring both EUCs to your local park and let the entertainment commence. 😂 Lastly, everyone’s learning process is unique. Advice from opinionated people (like me) can either resonate or not, so it’s okay to ignore the stuff that doesn’t ring true for you. You do you! … but preferably with more protection. 😅
I definitely try to take in as much advice as I can. That way I can recognize certain things when I come across em. Definitely been doing me good so far. I have to try grass. N I definitely need more gear 😂 thank you for the support my friend!!
@@therealbergexperience5640 Here’s the knockoff version of Leatt Dual Axis knee pads. share.temu.com/LlejLse1dMA
Damn bro, you have skill. I’ve been watching your journey and you definitely motivate us to get out there and try new things.
Thank you Broski!! Trying to get the hang of this thing. Still feels a little sketch but I’ll get there. I just love trying new things. Imagine getting 1 of them human flying drones 😂 if I ever get rich it’s on 🤣
Those wobbles come from not enough pressure on the wheel, maybe you lighten your legs when riding. Like rolling a wheel with no one on it, the wheel will wobble until it fall to one side. Learn seated riding and yo will never wobble. Find a parking lot and practice turning circles and figure 8. Practice braking and putting a foot down And practice riding at walking speed The four (Seated, Turning, Braking, Walking speed) above will help your riding skills. Turning and braking is most important
That's a cute house. If it's yours you should be proud.
Yeah man!! That’s what it’s all about!! Great job!! I’m so proud of you for getting out there. The more you get out there in little segments like this the more confident you’ll get. A calibration or mode setting change might help with the dip forward and back. Awesome riding!
Nice job broseph!!! You got it now, keep it up and youll be shreddin that thang in no time
prob on soft mode if youre dipping. try setting it to hard mode
good for you! you can do it...having the same experience going to the Patton from an KS s18...and before that from a KS 14 to the s18....so challenging to move up...keep it up...give us hope 😂
You did it!!! Yahoo!!!! Sweet! Can’t wait to see you just a ripping on that thing!
👍
hell yeah you are doing great! The hardest part is already behind you!
Check out the new 7inch tire from onewheel. I was on the fence for a while but I pulled the trigger and happy I did. It made a huge difference in a positive way. 👍👍✌ glad to hear you turned your life around 👍
Heck yeah man,I was waiting for this video for a while. Happy to see you on the lynx. That dip should be fixed with a simple calibration and firmware update 🎉
8:35, Chama! Pereira!
For sure. It’s stuck my head now 🤣 Poaton is a beast 💯 Chama 🙌🏾
Taking action and staying motivated! Hell yeah, love it!
Yessir. Thank you my friend!! Gotta get good on this thing and see what it can do!!
