      @therealbergexperience5640 Leaperkim is fantastic, very tried and true brand and the Lynx is a monster! Definitely a learning curve to get an 88lb wheel the first go round but once you are on it gets wild! Each wheel I have is for a different application i.e. skate park, off road, street cruising, etc. They are very addictive! I am not brand biased so I want them ALLLLLLL 😂
      Can't wait to watch you learn and love it 🙌 Subscribed!!

  • @ed_boogie

    Best place to learn is probably a tennis court with a surrounding fence. On another note, weather it's a Lynx or commander that you are getting as your first wheel, I suggest getting a third party protective kit. I was an avid onewheel rider with about 5500 miles under my belt (literally lol) . Learning to ride an EUC is definitely harder. I look forward to your progress! I love the onewheel, but I have to admit I don't own one anymore.

    I think many would own an ride both if possible to afford it because they might both be 1 wheeled self balancing devices but the feeling riding are way different, and from what I’ve seen the lynx would be the way I’d go with euc, have fun enjoying 1 wheeled freedom & life either way👍👍

      @therealbergexperience5640  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Thank you my friend. Pretty sure I’m keeping both. Even though I can’t really afford it 😂 I couldn’t see myself selling my Onewheel and I just started putting money together for the EUC. Job here job there and now I’m less than a grand from paying off the Lynx. Only way I sell is if the Onewheel starts catching dust. Then it’d be pointless but honestly I love the Floatlife. Thanks again my friend!!

    you got it right-- spend a chunk up front and get a wheel that you won't grow out of. For what it's worth, I'd go with the Lynx. It's basically the best wheel out right now, not just because its performance specs are up there at the top, but because Leaperkim/Veteran has been on a serious hot streak with the overall quality of their wheels. I ride a patton, which is basically the smaller version of the Lynx-- little less range, slightly smaller wheel. The patton is built with a new level of quality compared to the other wheels, and the lynx is at least as good. As someone who already rides self balancing devices, you know how important it is to not be worrying about mechanical failures. Especially when you're going 40mph.
    One thing with EUCs: You'll end up going fast. hella fast. And you'll be riding with traffic more, since you can actually keep up with cars. Cars are dangerous and drivers don't pay attention, and hitting the pavement at 30+ is a lot different from jumping off a onewheel at 15-22mph. Full face helmet, knee/shin protectors, wrist pads at a minimum. There's no coasting to a stop on these machines, you go down when something goes wrong.

      @therealbergexperience5640  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Thank you my friend. I’ve been on the fence but I have the Lynx order already in and from hearing what you’re saying it just confirms my choice. Exactly why I made the choice. Dressing for the slide for sure. I’m gonna upgrade my safety gear for the EUC. Looking forward to the fun. Thank you again my friend!!

      Hell yeah! The lynx is an incredible wheel, def my first pick over anything else, even over coming soon wheels which are supposedly gonna compete w the lynx.
      It's gonna take some time to learn to ride, especially on a wheel this large, but once you get it ... man I think it's the most fun you can have on wheels. Wheel. Stoked for you! Just subscribed so I can see the journey

      Yessir. The journey continues 🙌🏾 I remember I thought was crazy to Onewheel now I want a EUC 😂 I done watched so many videos. I was gonna get a Kingsong S16 but they said with my weight I’d probably outgrown it pretty quick. I been putting money down on a Veteran Lynx since it’s not in stock. Looking at Grizzla pads. Gonna have to upgrade the protective gear too. I want to keep the GT if I can just too make content for my channel since it all started with the wheel but if it starts to catch dust it’s over with. @therealbergexperience5640  Před 5 měsíci +1

    • @ElectrifiedRider
      @ElectrifiedRider Před 5 měsíci +1

      @@therealbergexperience5640 The Lynx is badass no doubt. I'm happy with my Sherman S decision because the range is proper. Eventually I would like to get a higher voltage wheel as my second whip. After about 2 weeks I was riding longer distances. The learning curve is a bit tough at first but with determination and practice muscle memory kicks in and everything clicks. I had no issue with it being a larger wheel. I'm 6' 1 250 lbs.

      @therealbergexperience5640  Před 5 měsíci +1

      @@ElectrifiedRider I do like range too. I’m hoping I happy with the Lynx. I’m still not totally decided. I have 3 weeks before it reaches the store and I can still switch it. Extreme Bull commander is another range wheel I was looking at. The struggle is real 😂🤣 I love range too. The Sherman S is definitely a great option and it has the look I like too. N 200 cheaper than the Lynx. Could use that for pads

    I know EUC have more fan base but DP it might not be as fun. It will be at the first like learning to ride a bike then it might get staler. The thrill is there with high speed but also the risk and the heaviness of the device. If you already have a GT you decked it out I say just enjoy riding. But if you want to go the content route, I wish you the very best and hope you enjoy riding them all.

    My suggestion is, get a smaller, lighter euc first, maybe used. You might not crash, but you'll drop it several times, and your leg muscles will scream at you double if you have a big heavy wheel to train on. You don't buy a giant heavy Harley for your first motorcycle; and you shouldn't buy a heavy wheel for your first EUC. You'll probably be okay, and finally learn how to ride, but you'll cussing yourself at how much your legs and feet hurt, and that your new wheel is all scratched, dented and cracked plastic. It's 20 times harder to ride an EUC than a Onewheel.
