My one wheels have put me on the pavement 8-9 times over 4 yrs and 4200mi. My EUCs have never even offered to let me down over the same period in 2000mi. I ride both padded up for every ride. I would never ride a OW without pads. I would be fine on my Patton without pads in a pinch. I differ with you, the OW is infinitely more dangerous than an EUC at compatible speeds.
I guess I’ve fallen so many times on the Onewheel. I feel like when I do fall I can just run it out. I haven’t experienced it on the EUC. I imagine just face planting 😂 you’re wise to just gear up all the time. That’s the only way to be safe. Either way stay safe my friend and keep shredding 🙌🏾
I'm learning to ride the exact same machine. No colorful lights but a great price for a beginner wheel. I can't wait until I can get my speed up enough to ride without holding onto something. I can only ride about 10 feet before I have to step down or fall. I want to learn by riding slow and that's just not compatible for staying upright on the V8s. I tried my partner's more powerful wheel and was surprised that it wasn't that hard to practice on. It gets going a lot faster than my V8s. I'll get there. I'm liking hearing your experience while watching you ride. You are the first EUC youtuber that I'm subscribing to. Looking forward to your next video.
Thank you ☺️ I appreciate you!! I’m no expert. At least not yet but I think the gliding on 1 leg is what helped me the most. Be able to hold the balance was keep. I can ride the V8s. Actually out on it now whipping it around. The big wheel I have is another story. 88 pounds is hard to hold up. I think I’m ready to try it again but it’s still intimidating. All in the mind I guess. Good luck on the journey. You can do it. The more you try the easier it’ll get. N Thank you for subscribing 😊
What’s up brother. I’m mad I missed this one. I turned on the notification icon so it won’t happen again. Good job. Yea it’s always good to gear up. The day that you don’t is the day something happens.. You’re ready for the lynx man. You just have to get your leg muscles ready for the weight of the lynx. Ones you start riding it fast you may have a different feeling of which if your favorite to ride. As far as the bugs that’s when I close the shield on my helmet so I don’t have any flying around in my helmet or don’t have to eat them. Lol
I got my V8S around the same time you did and I’ve been watching your progress. I guess I got a little more time to practice than you because I think I’m a little further ahead. After I learned to stand and balance I had the same problem as you, when I would pick up speed it would start to wobble… At first I would just lean forward to gain speed and that was the problem, I watched a few videos and I started to learn how to push forward with my left toe but also at the same time put a little weight on my right heal, this counter acts the balance and keeps you in control, using that technique while carving now I have zero wobbles! Man I wish I had a Lynx ready for me when I’m ready to upgrade, it’s gonna take a lot of savings. Keep going bro the more you ride the better you become ❤
Now is the time to shop for full body protection for your Lynx, possibly Clark pads or other community sourced 3d printed pads. The seat can be delayed until later but TPU pads for your investment are the next step. You'll eventually want pads for the v8s too so that when you teach your friends, it's okay to watch them drop your beloved machine. {Riding on grassy soccer fields will accelerate your learning to balance on rough terrain. Dirt/trail riding will improve on-rod handling capabilities and prepare you for the Lynx.} And yes, LSD is as amazing as is riding an EUC... just not at the same time. 😁
Thank you my friend. The Lynx is already kitted out with Grizzla Pads, seating, and lights. I actually had before I even got the Lynx. I need to get some more gear for my body. Yes. The good old tripping days. Can’t handle that no more 😂🤣
Yes. I’m bout ready. As of now it just sits in the kitchen as a nice photo prop. I ride it in my driveway but that’s between cars and I need to get out of that. It’s time I send her 🙌🏾
Most of the things feared riding a EUC is mental. It is simply the mind playing tricks on you And wobbles mostly come because there is not enough pressure on the wheel. For instance I have rode my V12 about 2000 miles seated and never had a wobble. However, When I stand and I lighting my foot pressure on the wheel wobbles come
Bro - yesterday I rode my e-bike to fly some FPV near the ocean and I got eaten alive by those nasty bugs. It was also near sunset. X3 shots of your sunset looks good, the Ace Pro has its use case scenarios but I prefer the 360 cams like you.
Yea that Ace pro has that action camera feel. The X3 is my go to. Makes getting content so easy. N it’s small. I think I’ll use the ace pro for my paddle board mostly. The bugs or another level lately. That little rain heat combo is bringing out. Florida. You already!! I got to get into that fpv game. I want the avatar 2 but that DJI ban got me hold 🤦🏾♂️
wobbles are you over correcting the gyro removing the wobbles. If you keep practicing you will learn to counteract the wobble correctly subconsciously. You're going to have an adjustment period when you go back to the lynx due to the weight, took me about a week half an hour every day to switch to a heavier wheel, good luck!
Speed wobble is because the wheel is tiny and figgity. Lynx is smooth and stable, you don’t get wobbles until you are up in the 40mph+ range. I have about 30k miles on an EUC now. I still get the wobbles when I ride my daughter’s V11. It’s just again, super small and figgity.
Nice chill ride 🤙Once you ride an EUC with suspension you'll never go back 😎
I’m definitely looking forward to it. Sooner than later. Thank you my friend!!

Can’t wait to see your big wheel in action! I shouted out to you in my last video homie! Cheers friend!
Thank you my friend. Just checked it out. Definitely let me know if you ever come down this way. Well rip it up for sure!!

Love the chill vibe, prefer one wheel myself but cool to get the perspective on switching to EUC
That thing is sweet 🔥
Especially for the price. $650 bucks to enjoy EUC. Money well spent. I’d buy it again for sure 🙌🏾

That thing looks fun! And the price is very low compared to our OWs.
Most definitely 💯 650 for more power speed and range. Definitely a nice little wheel. I can imagine what the big 1s gonna do 🚀

@@therealbergexperience5640 just remember to change the factory settings, especially PWM tilt back.
@@KevinRedmondWA Man were you right. The tilt back was serious. Had to change the settings. It was like night and day 🙌🏾
Ain't no such thing as a Speed Wobble on the V8...
Speed and V8 should not even be in the same sentence
😂 damn. True 😂. It’s some kinda wobble but it’s definitely not speedy. I hit the limit pretty quickly.
