- After posting my last video I got a message from the 1 and only Jeff Adair Shreds over at 1Wheelparts. He was able to guide me through and bring my board back to life. I can't be more thankful and the board floats sweeter than ever. Billet Rim is a success. @1wheelparts920

For sure. I didn’t post it on facebook. Probably could’ve got answers there too but they would’ve roasted me 🤣 CZcams Onewheeling community is a lot more supportive and understanding. Jeff Adair is an absolute genius. Knew what it was just from that little clip. Such a cool dude. Always responds to messages. I just grateful and happy to be floating again!!

As far as Jeff Adair goes, I happened to talk with him over the phone a couple of months ago, about my broken Pint. He is certainly one nice and outstanding guy. Willing to help. A true asset to the Onewheel community.

Dude I feel this video hard. I live in a much harsher climate here in Canada, but I still don't like driving everywhere I go. Onewheel, scooter, bike, walk. Way more enjoyable. Car all the time is living a clown life.

I’ve been lucky enough not to have to deal with a broken board. I did have sensor issues one time but the surestart fixed that. Great job on fixing your board. Be good buddy float on

Realberg! I've been loving watching all of your videos. My GT looks so similar to yours! I totally felt your pain when your board stopped working man. I recently popped a tire and I couldn't get another one delivered to Australia for about 10 days. The pain of not being able to float was really mentally taxing!

Thank you my friend. That is some of the funnest riding. These cars do like 5 mph on Duval. Being able to hit those gaps and pass em is fun. Really only my 2nd time riding like that. Picked up when I went on a group ride. Definitely looking forward to getting the floatwheel. 2nd board is mandatory and the say it blows the gt out of the water. I’ll be the judge!! Keep shredding my friend!!🏄🏾♂️

So stoked for you dude! Jeff rocks, answered the phone personally when my 357 rails were out of the color I wanted. That Floatwheel will make an excellent "Backup Board" if you don't end up making it the main chick lol
Glad you got it resolved and that Jeff knew what your problem was in order to put you on the right path.
I love tinkering with my boards and I know the feeling of making a mod and putting your board out of commission. I put a Surestart into my GT and the gasket was pinched (from the factory). I had to wait several days for the replacement gasket to come in.
Now, when planning an upgrade I look at all the things that can go wrong or parts that can be messed up and make sure I have replacements or a backup plan ready before I make the modifications.
I have four boards now, so it's not really an issue, having one out of whack a few days but good planning prevents those kinds of emergencies. When I put the 5" hub in my GT-S, it had a bad axle gasket ring, with less than a hundred miles on the board. I pulled out a replacement that I had ready, just in case, and was able to continue.
Keep up the content, always love having soothing rides to watch and keep in the background while I work. Float on my friend.
This is why I have 4 XRs and recently got a PintX. I can't see not having 1, which means a developed rider needs at least 2. Once you develop the muscle memory, it's a game changer. When I go to Costco, I park at the furthest spot next to a stray cart. Then I beat everyone to the doors why they wait for the closest spot to park. Then when I leave, I hop on my OneWheel after paying at the register, push the cart to the door, check my receipt, roll to the truck, put stuff away, then put away as many stray carts as I can for fun! Pushing a 4 wheeled cart with a OneWheel is like training wheels for the OneWheel... If you nose dive, you are holding on to a cart!

Like these little go kart thingys…. Mostly bc I’ll be super low to the ground and I can find jewels like that. It goes 23mph and has a 15.5mi. range
But eventually I do need to get on one of those I think that would be like a great way to never skip leg day… the downside of the go kart is that it’s electric so no workout. I do like your thingy but it looks like ima BUST my ass more than once for sure…. Do you feel it working out your butt by any chance ?
Hell yeah!! I'm hella happy for you! I can imagine how sad I would be if I couldn't float. I worry about my battery bc I have the Pint X 😳 But yeah, from a former Sparky, you should have known you couldn't leave that screw in those windings. That's a short fa real. No shade intended. I love drones too. Nothing fancy. I fly an air 2s. I have a part 107 and fly for work all the time. Yea. I definitely should have know. For some reason I was putting it together in my head that it’s a magnetic field inside the hub. Like ok. It’s just a little noise. I can deal with it 🤦🏾♂️ I’m just glad I didn’t fry anything. Goes tho show the boards are super smart. Almost acted like a gfi and just kept popping a breaker. Either all is well and I’m happy. Thank you for watching my friend. What’s your channel my friend?

Yesss! Glad you got it solved! I'm waiting for my FW and I think I'm gonna love but, you have to keep in mind that it's not a finished product, it's not plug and play solution like the boards from FM. But if you're willing to tinker and experiment and test stuff, it's almost perfect.
I think deep down you wanted it to be broke so can go ahead and get the new GTS. Jk Glad you got it back bro.

great video, glad your board is back! do you have any videos on how to edit the insta360 videos? i downloaded the program to my PC and watched videos but i can't seem to do simple tasks like snipping out segments of video and putting two videos i shot together. maybe i'm just missing something obvious, idk
I did make 1 a while back. Onewheel Gt best camera and settings. I’m gonna try to make a better 1 explaining in the next few videos.
Did you see they came out with a GTS motor upgrade for $850. Looks like it gives you more low-end torque for the GT. Eventually, I'll probably get the GTS instead of doing the motor upgrade, which will give me the XR and GT for backup boards. Looking forward to the weather to warm up. I thought my board was broke because I kept getting a yellow error code. Didn't realize the battery was too cold for the board to turn on.
I did. It’s like the iPhone. Get a 15 and the 16 comes out next week 🤣 but honestly I love the billet. Makes the board even more stable. I’m with you. If you want a GTS motor better just get the GTS.

I dont think its electrical sparks , my guess would be the hall sensor readings get messed up with the screw inside !
