My first nosedive on a onewheel was on a pintx, went up to 21mph and board shut off and launched myself into the pavement. Had a pretty nasty road rash so respect pushback on pintx for sure 😅
Sold my PintX because of two things. Torque was underwhelming and footpad sensors were way too finicky. If those two things are fixed, then it would be awesome. My next wheel will be a Floatwheel.
I have a friend with a pint x we have swapped boards a few times I didn’t like it much with the original tire it’s squarely and prone to speed wobble I felt the enduro tire made it much better but still like my gt better I got to ride a float wheel adv couple months ago at a group ride I would get that over a pint x it’s stable at speed the center of gravity is higher then the gt but the ride height is adjustable so it would be easy to fix i am a lite weight so the extra power wasn’t noticeable to me but I know it has a lot more than a gt it feels heavier than a gt but once your up and going I didn’t notice it much for a heavier person I think it would be a good choice
I started in mid 2020 with a Pint and loved it @ 275lbs. I ate too much pavement while riding it until the GT came available. My appetite for pavement went on a diet after moving to the more powerful board, and gaining more riding skills. Power is safety on a OneWheel unless you are extremely talented, I am not.
I'm 265lb myself I'm typing out at 14-15 mph on my pint. I haven't eaten pavement yet but I understand the frustration of feeling that need for speed. I'm just using it as a one mile commuter and trainer. I am getting 6 miles per charge. I hope to join the gt club when a second hand one for a good price comes along. Thanks for the vids.
@@davidbasco7076 for real. They’re out there. When you do get 1 you’re gonna love it. That extra 5 miles is a huge difference. My gt was down for a few days so I used the pint x to get somewhat of a fix but it was like drinking decaf coffee. Hope you come across 1 for the low soon my friend 🤞🏾
My first board was the OG Pint and now I have the GT, I am a tad bit over 6” tall but I am pretty light for my height, at roughly 170 to 175, I wear a size 11 women’s shoe, and for me I do still love my Pint, but I also love going fast while feeling safer at that higher speed, I also love long rides, so that is why I moved to the GT, personally though I miss the flatter footpads on the pint and find the GT’s double concave to cause more discomfort while riding although they now have flatter style pads for the GT that I will look into getting in the future, however coming from a Pint to a GT I can definitely understand that concerns of size, cause at my pretty tall height, I do feel like the size of the GT better fits my long leg span better. lol thanks for the video and as always I’m looking forward to seeing more from you in the future.
Tall a slim. I could see how you might like it but over the Gt? I personally never want to touch the pint x but I do see some rider on the heavier side love it. That pushback is too strong for me. Kinda hard to go backwards on speed for. Thank you for watching 🙌🏾 keep floating and stay safe 🏄🏾♂️
Yea, about a month or so after I bought my gt brand new and fell in love with it, I started thinking about getting a pint x just to have something smaller and easier to carry around. If I go out of town on a trip or something. And then I tried one at a group ride. It's just not for me. Seems more like a kid's board in my opinion, but cool nevertheless.
💯 percent correct. I’m gonna keep it for my son for a little while but then I’ll probably sell it and grab a floatwheel. It’s pretty limiting in my opinion!!
Those floatwheels seem sketchy to me. Chinese made, cheap plastics. Ehh.. I'll stick to Onewheels. Safe bet. Just my opinion though. You do you my friend!
@@IansRcFun I said the same thing at first from watching a bunch a videos but everyone I see with 1 says they love it. I haven’t seen a bad review yet. N worse comes to worse I could sell pretty easy and get most of money back. But than there’s the wait 😢
You can't go Heal toe, if it's not touching the broad my brother, You a Big dude like me, We both love our GT's.
Absolutely my guy. Poor footpad is completely swallowed by my foot. Not for us. That’s for sure 🏄🏾♂️🙌🏾

Heck yea. I respect it. Just gives that uneasy feeling. Don’t I’ll ever ride it again. Floatwheel is my new mission.
Great video like always. My wife has a pint, she loves it, I’ve never been on it. But I am a true Clydesdale. 💪🏼
Thank you my friend. Definitely not recommended for my Clydesdale friends. You need some power to feel safe 💯🙌🏾🏄🏾♂️

That’s it. I’m with you. I’ll keep the X for my son but I’m getting me a floatwheel.

I’m getting a floatwheel. My mind is made up. I need another board to review and ride. Floatwheel offers the most

I don’t know how you did it. I’m 210 now and the pint x just wasn’t enough. The GT is perfect for me 🏄🏾♂️

I mean its not about the top speed , its the torque I want, for trail riding and such.
The thing is the top speed kicks in before you really feel like you’re floating good. Or soon as you hit that point the nose raises.

@@IansRcFun 🤣 fo real. Forgot about that 🤣
Does that haptic buzz kill your buzz?
Kills the high, the buzz, makes 💩 a little bit 🤣 definitely not my favorite.
