Manu Ginobili is the man.
A consummate winner and one of the great underdogs ever - he goes down as perhaps the most influential non-starter in all of sports and one of the lauded competitors of his era.
He played with passion, connected with fans, and innovated as much as any player in recent memory. But he did all that on the Spurs? How'd he manage that?

The best role player in NBA history
zhlédnutí 273KPřed 3 měsíci
Role players are the best. They’re the unsung heroes, the guys who don’t get all the minutes, who don’t get all the touches, who have to make every shot count. Whether they’re specialists, locker room guys, glue guys, or what have you - the best role players just make your team better. And the best role player of all time - one of the clutchest players in NBA history - is Robert Horry. Thanks t...
The 2004 Detroit Pistons and the greatest upset in Finals history
zhlédnutí 253KPřed 4 měsíci
In the 2004 NBA Finals, the Detroit Pistons met the Los Angeles Lakers. The Pistons victory against the Kobe-Shaq Lakers - by almost any metric - is the biggest upset in the history of the NBA. How'd that happen? Thanks to Nic (the real GOAT) for the thumbnail: nicstelter.com Twitter: ClaytonCrowley Patreon: www.patreon.com/claytoncrowley
Why is basketball the best sport?
zhlédnutí 19KPřed 6 měsíci
On January 15th, 1892, James Naismith first published the rules to a game he called "Basket Ball". It was a sport he created when he nailed a peach basket to the wall of a gymnasium. Over the next century, basketball became on of the most popular sports on Earth. It has also become, to me, the best sport we have. Twitter: ClaytonCrowley Patreon: www.patreon.com/claytoncrowley

Basketball fans lowkey knew that Duncan is one of the greats. He is in the same breath as Jordan, Kobe, Lebron and all these greats. And probably the best PF of all time
Dr.j. he's the reason why I'm a 76er fan. Bot to many players have a mythology mystic.
Nope. The greatest what-if is, by a wide margin, Sam Bowie. I've seen everyone from Wilt and Russell, to Dr. J, Bird, Magic, Jordan, Kobe, LeBron through today in person. If you saw Bowie play in person before he started having the recurring foot and lower leg injuries (similar to Walton), you'd agree. He was far less at Kentucky than his original ability and was still the #2 overall pick. In high school he played like Wemby does now except Bowie was stronger and had more in the paint. Dominant post game, dominant defender and shot blocker, and could play on the baseline, wing, even lead the fast break. I saw him catch a shot (not block it... catch it), lead the break, spin move around one defender who tried to strip him at midcourt, then at the top of the key went behind his back, pulled up from 20 feet and the defender dropped off to cover the pass... so Bowie just stayed in the air and drilled the jumper. He was doing the same in the fall as a freshman at Kentucky, then the injuries started. Bowie was 40 years ahead of his time.
Big Ben was miles ahead of what the league was doing. Firstly, he was SMALLER than Shaq by a solid couple inches and weight. He was 6'9" when the average team had someone near or at 7 feet at center. Now it's not too uncommon to see someone like LeBron at center sometimes. Too bad Big Ben couldn't shoot a free throw for his LIFE lmaoooo. I'll never forget his form as long as I live lol
I am not a fan of the Spurs but man this team man this comeback... Immortality
Great Video 😎
This isn’t a basketball team - its the justice league crossed with the avengers
I personally think Chauncey should've been on the top 75 team. Even in this video it felt like Ben Wallace got more love. This team is Iconic for being the 1st "non superstar" team to ever do it and it should be showed to all players coming into the NBA of what play the right way means
4-1 isn’t an upset. They were the better team.
Nah bro this is crazy😂😂😭
The NBA from 1995-2008 was some of the best basketball the NBA has ever showcased. Straight tough defensive teams like the pistons, Bulls, Spurs, lakers Celtics ect. They need to adjust the NBA rules back to the rules through that era, it would possibly make today's NBA one of the greatest eras, and we might actually get to see a league Produce another Kobe or Jordan. People dont realize that the toughness and competitiveness of the league in Kobe and MJ's era's is what built them into the players they were.
Chamberlain! My favorite basketball player! 🏀💍💍
The Big O: A Walking Triple Double 🏀
did you upload in 240p?
I will forever be thankful to Horry for that shot in the series vs the Kings. Great player.
Long strange trip
Yooo this is a great video. Well done man I really enjoyed this. Make me think about junior high basketball lol
Manu was the 2004 Olympic MVP, somehow now P. Gasol is😂. Always thought that's why they didn't gave him the 05' finals MVP. But who cares, Manu only wanted to Win and that, he did.😊 Good Video.
As an argentinian i must tell you. You hit the spot ❤
HOF..... is there a category for players who do not feel pressure of the moment. That is Horry. He shoots game winners like it's a practice shot.there is talent and then there is some one oblivious of pressure who can make a shot when everyone else is stressed to the max.
This guy should have his jersey retired at 3 arenas .. lol
Two Goats having the same mindset in different eras Bill Russell and Tim Duncan epitomized the platonic idea of basketball. The only players you can say truly didn’t care for their stats yet put up monstrous numbers, emphasizing teamwork leadership and sacrifice to achieve the ultimate goal, and lastly embodied the very essence of basketball itself.
“Here, after cementing himself as the greatest baksetball player of all time….is the platonic idea of basketball.” Beautiful man couldn’t have said it better myself RIP to the GOAT
In high school basketball, superstars like Kobe Bryant and LeBron James played against much less skilled players compared to the competition Wilt Chamberlain faced in the NBA. You can't question the talent disparity between an NBA-caliber player and the worst high-school player on the opposing team, then the best NBA player and the worst player in the league. Despite this, no high school star, including the most talented ones, has averaged 50 points and 25 rebounds per game for a whole season. These numbers are almost unheard of, even for a single game, at the high school level. The video emphasizes this, but to give additional context, Wilt Chamberlain's achievements are so remarkable that they often seem unbelievable.
I watched but still not saying he is the overall goat 🐐 I got MJ 90's Kobe 2000s lebron 2010s and Michael Jordan is the overall goat u will never change my mind
Big shot Bob
Karl Malone couldn't win a title even with a super team poor guy.
Manu ginobili in 05, it is not about best player sometimes lol
As an argentinian and somone that mostly watched Manu's NBA games, it amazes me the quality of basketball I saw back in the days with the Golden Generation of Argentina and those Spurs. To this day, I watch regular games and, maybe product of bias memory, used to see "my team" win or Manu's magic, I just feel like I'm watching lower caliber basketball besides 3 point shoots (and sometimes even that is sub par to my memory). Manu's magic has left the bar so high, I feel like an old man saying "the old days were the best days" each time I watch basketball.
You did an awesome job and I'm a Kobe Era Lakers fan!!

Just think if Bird would’ve told Red No he’s too injured all the time. LoL
22:47 McHale is 6’10 Walton is 6’11
Walton has 2 more rings than Charles
When the Kobe/Shaq and Kobe post-Shaq Lakers actually ran into good teams in the finals they got beat. The Pistons were just a better team. Period.
Idk why but this video makes me emotional. Something about Duncan.... it wasn't just that he did it as well as anyone for as long as anyone but he did it the right way.
He worked harder
One thing about Lakers , they rigged the series against Kings 2002 so hard.. Shoud not have won that one , Sacramento should have gotten the tittle . Still biggest, most obvious robbery in sports that later even referees admitted to
I mean good thing they did that before the warriors got rolling.
7:25
it is very good
A 70s fan describing Dr.J. He gets to a point where it is like we need another ball cause the Doc is dominating so much he took over game for long spurts. His style was exciting and original. An artist.
Love me sum PISTONS
