Trouble is, cops almost NEVER stop/warn people for careless driving, much less prosecute them. Far easier to concentrate on the "low hanging fruit" such as speeding.

There is nothing wrong with a space in a number plate unless it's being misrepresented, deformed, or in any way misleading.... if it's still legible and read by ANPR, it's not a problem Police going for the easy target as usual, try catching a burglar....

Worst part about ANPR is how it monitors you, definitely breaches privacy laws, when they want to, they can check where you have been traveling and for how long and where you stopped etc.
