Recently went to a car meet that was static. Literally everyone parked up, no drifting or racing. We had a bbqs and stalls set up. No police came, the car park wardens joined in with us grabbed food with us and talked about cars.
Almost everyone got issued section 59s. No evidence given, no method of appeal. I'd taken an aspiring 18 year old photographer with me. he's also been sectioned at such a young age. What can be done to fight this?

That's a wing not a spoiler, the raised section above GT3RS is the spoiler.
The difference being that a wing you can fit a head under. Spoilers you can't. For example the GTR R32 has a spoiler.
I've never in my days heard or seen someone injured frim a spoiler
I’ve seen direct repercussions of stretch ties. Unfortunately the driver and passenger no longer with us due to the stretch tiles coming off the rims.

If you make any type of modification, even the wheels, you need to check with your insurance company or you could find your insurance being invalid. Amazed the police haven’t mentioned this in the video.
Also need to tell the dvla so any mods that change the performance are part of the mot.
Just don’t modify a car you don’t own, simple. They will try everything to get out of a warranty claim regardless of the fault being relatable or not.
A little like the spoiler v pedestrian thing. Whats the score with hitting a pedestrian with your wing mirror?
Scenario could be:
Entirely street legal vehicle, entirely within speed limit, not distracted etc, a group of pedestrians walking down the road, one walks to the edge of the pavement and mirror hits them...
Didn't happen to me (genuinely), but I feel its close sometimes.
Also some pavements are really narrow that it can only fit one person. If there's an oversized spoiler you'll definitely be hit.
