Neither the less it's a great strategy for police to learn from this on how to get yet more drivers out... rather than real crime

Honestly, this is great! As a 30 year old lad coming from heavily modded cars, that always gets the attention of the police... It's nice to see. Coming from what other countries are doing (banning custom exhausts that don't pass TUV and Aussies not even allowed open filters or atmosphere DVs etc). Its important this industry is protected, considering the UK plays a huge part in the modification scene. A lot of businesses will be affected if it gets strict. The likes of REVO, Airtec, Pipercross, Miltek will have to shut their doors.
After all, who do these mods affect? No one.
The UK is the home of motorsport, which is the inspiration for these modifications. That whole car is inspired by Rally Sport.

When I worked at midland turbo about 18 years ago I reconditioned a HKS polished drag turbo from a police Vovlo V70. That unit was rated at 500 BHP, so lets not pretend that the boys in blue havent been tuning their cars for years.

Intersting noise test. When I took my kit car through SVA the noise test was similar but it had a limit of 101db at 3/4 max power rpm. Question is how loud can a car be according to the police rather than the subjective "that'll do" MOT test requirement?

Question - I drive within speed limits. But often I get cars trucks that come very close to my car's rear, to make me go fast because they don't have other lane free to overtake.
Can I put some simple LED light strip to flash blue colours (inside rear window) to scare such drivers ? (The same lights people put behind TV or in room for decoration).

i missed the part i think about the lights, i assume because you are a policeman youre allowed to have these fitted operational or not, but the public arent?
Here we see the difference in the mentality of the police, for example, in this country in relation to Portugal (my country) where any minor change here means the car is immediately seized. Amazing video!
Do these heavily modded police cars still have a GPF delete which is usually needed for over stage 1
You don't need to remove the GPF... Removing it offers little to no noticeable benefit other than the car sounding louder.

@@ethanwhite6975 Obviously if you're putting down immense amounts of power at high revs, then you need a hi-flow exhaust and will notice more efficient power delivery.
Cutting the GPF and cat off your mum's Ford Fiesta is not going to add any noticeable benefits.
