I used to race real two stroke rotax karts on an amateur level. Experience is so important and I agree with a lot of what you’ve said in this video. Unfortunately you’ve missed a key factor which is the weight of the drivers. If you introduced restrictors into the mix you’d see a difference. It’s not a fair comparison to say an approx 45kg girl is faster than an approx 120kg man
I am 73 years old and have been driving in UK for 51 years. I have driven cars and lorries and, honestly, have never had an accident or speeding ticket. I put my good luck mostly down to anticipating what someone else could do and preparing myself should they do it. I have had some very close calls with pedestrians, riders and drivers.

Like my driving instructor said to me, you learn to past your test then you learn to drive.
Great video the thing is people are tought to past the test and not drive properly I did my police advanced driving course due to the job I did in the army and that really showed me how to drive so as a previous person said advanced driver course would be good and a massive insurance reduction would help

Hi George i have a query. Given the law regulations regarding exterior lighting upgrades such as underglows & HID’s. Are there regulations for driving around at night time with a starlight headliner all lit up, given that its an interior modification?🤔
I don't know about specific regulation but safety wise, I think underline is it shouldn't be too bright that you are unable to see the roads clearly. If it's literally just a "glow" it should be fine, but if they're as bright as the interior lights themselves then probably not.

It's ok being able to " drive," but! It's being able to have control of an out of control vehicle that counts. Kids should learn the fundamentals while at school and learn how to control a car. Just like the schools in Finland 🇫🇮.. makes a huge difference
Weight of the driver is a big factor in go karts. this was the young ones advantage
