Hey, humanity, you need to go after the greedy governments and corporate CEO's for slamming that technology down our collective throats.

My Grandfather switched from a horse drawn wagon to a Model T Ford around 1924. He didn't switch because the government gave him a tax credit, and he didn't switch to impress the people over in the next farm in North East Arkansas, he switched because the Model T was better. Now, get me an EV that is BETTER than my ICE pickup or Mustang, and I would consider switching. Even if I was to settle for "just as good", I would need an EV that could go a REAL 300 miles, (both uphill and downhill, against a wind or with a wind, with the lights and heater/air on, at 110 or - 25 degrees F, and with 1 to 4 people in the car), I can refuel in 5 minutes or less, (at any one of one million fuel pumps nationwide), I can drive for 20 or more years, (my 1995 Mustang and 2008 Ranger are going just fine), and I can buy "out the door" for $35,000.00 or less. I know, that's a hard act to follow, but why should I settle for less than what I'm currently driving now? My Grandfather didn't.

The biggest toxic environmental disaster is at our doorstep worldwide and its the renewables and EV's. Both are short life disposable energy sources. A reminder that when you go to the rubbish disposal sites, where whitegoods (fridges, washing machines, dryers) are stacked up highand taking up large areas of the tip....now imagine 10x that size with EV's alone.

EVs SUCK!!!!

From what I've seen reported, E.V.s are being tagged, "throw away" cars when the OE battery is in replacement range. The cost of replacement is exceeding the value of the car. So owners are walking away. Add this to the host of E.V. issues that come with those cars. Fire risk, lack of charging stations, charging time requirements, insurance costs due to fire risk, climate impact on battery performance. Maybe the best option if you want to own one, is to lease it then turn it back.
