🚗 Ever wondered about the hidden costs of EV ownership? 🔍 The Real Price of EVs: What Buyers and Dealers Didn't Expect! WATCH IT NOW HERE! czcams.com/video/Czd110BvGjs/video.html
Things to love about EVs: 1. Child battery labor 2. Range anxiety 3. Risk of garage fires 4. Paying 20k more than a comparable vehicle 5. Battery degredation 6. Poor resale value 7. Reduced performance in cold, highway 8. Higher repair costs 9. Awful charging network experiences in the weather without restrooms 10. Higher insurance rates 11. Replacing tires more frequently But hey theres a tax credit!
It's not just GM's particular problems. Battery EV's are not attractive to most price-conscious consumers. Wealthy technophiles, status-seeking virtue-signalers, and those leveraging tax advantages are the actual market for battery EVs. Even if EVs were much MUCH cheaper to buy & to run, the power generation and charging infrastructure could not cope with their mass adoption. (IMO)
They could reopen some of the USA plants that were shuttered. Like Janesville or Lordstown for example. Get rid of Barra and maybe GM would have a better chance. William Durant is rolling over in his grave.
The competitive pricing thing made me laugh. Comparing one manufacturers ludicrously overpriced EV to another manufacturers ludicrously overpriced EV is not what is needed. What's needed is comparing every manufacturers EVs to any ICE vehicles anywhere in the world, and that is precisely what people are doing worldwide, and coming to the correct conclusions. Stick your EVs where the sun don't shine.
How can you blame consumers for your bad choices, we did not want the EV’s, the manufacturers did. We cannot even afford to buy them. The costs are way out of out reach!
Ultimately, overpriced vehicles are to blame. Between unions, bloated salaries among executives are mostly at fault. What happened to that bailout money? A lot of manufacturers moved abroad over the years, and jobs left America. Fewer people making those union wages isn't helping the economy. Particularly because it's not just the factories and workers that disappear. Their vendors for all of the outsourced parts, interior trim, wiring harnesses, etc. moved with them. They don't listen to their customers anymore. We don't want the EVs. We don't want cars that cut off at red lights, wearing out starters prematurely. We're fed up with vehicles we don't want at multiple times the cost we're willing to pay. Go out of business. We no longer care.
I wonder why gm could have not already made a chevy cruze EV. And make it as cheap as the ICE used to be. Dont spend R&D on new design. Just take the volt tech. And cruze body with bolt battery. Voila Cheap EV with great range/performance/price Cruze came out in 2010 We're in 2025 soon GM is asleep?
GM ,, same old crap! They won't be around much longer.... There for years they came out every year with a new truck just by changing the tail lights! That's it! Ya spend that kind of money ya want more.
You must be taling about the uniparty. Or are you one of those millions of Americans who still think there's a difference between Dems and Reps? If so, you're brainwashed.
These democrat CEO's alway blame everyone else except themselves.... They assume no responsibility for their failures..... Anything a democrat get involved with turns to crap immediately....
Come to think on it, Barra sure does seem to have a lot more stress features than normal for similar figureheads. She keeps reminding me of Star Wars Sith lords.

Do you work for GM?
Offer a garbage product that consumers don't want, and blame consumers ?????
Dunno i think the prices are too high but i don't think the gm cars are bad.
I believe gm cars are underrated.
I blame EV customers who were dumb enough to buy one.
So do I...stupid twats.
Yes, when all of your efforts fail, blame the customer!
Just like Disney blaming the fans. 🤦♂️ Here’s an idea - Just make a quality product that people want and can afford.

Blaming ME for YOUR failures isn't going to win ME over. MY wallet stays closed.
Maybe Barra is the problem 🤔
They brought her in when their ignition switches failed, due to “customers hanging too many keys from them,” resulting in several deaths.
Of course everybody else is at fault except their lordship GM, apparently GM has no onus to make consumer-friendly vehicles...
No one wants those garbage contraptions except about 3% of ev lovers.
The zombies.
If you keep wasting your time commenting on CZcams, you're going to be late to your job at GM.
@@simrdownmon6431 if you keep liking your own comments everyone will know about your job as a nut drainer..

Will GM have to lose billions more before they get rid of her?
Its OK, Unca Sam will be there to bail them out...again. If you try and sell overpriced junk, dont act surprised when no one wants to buy it.
Yes, problems and quality issues built into cars are clearly the fault of customers.
Produce lithium batteries in Mexico...is a certain fire on the first week after buying 😂
Why can’t they produce the batteries in Canada? They seem pretty good at making stuff. Better than Mexico for sure.
Past tense. Canada as a whole has been twisted like California by Trudeau.
As an American citizen living full time in Mexico, let me be the first to tell you, you're brainwashed.
lol, blame the customer instead of the corporate plan
Its not just GM, its every electric car company.

It's a cold world.

EV dog just would not hunt. Bad, useless dog. 🤣🤣🤣

Can you say Tesla? Blame Tesla. Blame Elon. We adore our Y performance. I’ll buy a PLAID later this year. Never going back to pumping gas. Go TESLA.
Change the CEO
Must be run by Boeing............
Just like a certain political party that shifts blame on their opponents.
You must be taling about the uniparty. Or are you one of those millions of Americans who still think there's a difference between Dems and Reps? If so, you're brainwashed.
Blame DEI.
Electric cars are a fad and will eventually disappear. They'll probably take several car companies down with them.
The basics of good business. The customer always wrong, right. Wait, What!
