@@UguysRnuts I don't think it's a good idea to pull around a trailer loaded with dilithium crystals. I am talking about droppin' the battery and wheels, then in goes an internal combustion injun ... the cars look great BUTT godda get rid of the electricity.

The only real issue with EVs is the Li-Ion battery. Range anxiety and very cold and very hot weather create a problem with all models that use those batteries only. Hybrids make more sense, but the market is still far less than for ICE vehicles. The charging infrastructure isn't going well in many places, either. Until the battery issues are solved (if ever) there won't be a big surge again with EVs , I don't think. I left out the one thing that would scare the hell out of me, and that is the possibility of spontaneous combustion of that battery. The manufacturers should have revolted. Toyota held back and look where they are in global sales. EVs with batteries are not working for most drivers. I won't buy one.
here in Melbourne, Australia the Tesla EVs are like kangaroos that hop onto the road, they're a nuisance and dangerous to the driver and passengers if hit. 🇦🇺
The EV market was always a non starter ! Most are leased so the buyers are going to be charged huge amounts after 3 years to close the gap between the projected market value and the actual dealer value !
I thought the lessor stipulated the value in the beginning and down payment and payments were based on the stipulated value. The lease companies are going to take the hit. Lease companies are now stipulating 6,000 miles a year in a Battery car lease, because you aren't going too many miles considering range and charging times.
I have nothing against putting EV’s on the market. It’s the government forcing them on us is the problem. It would be impossible to make the market one hundred percent EV’s. People who park on the street, or live in apartments who don’t have hours a week to sit in a parking lot during the dead of winter charging their EV.
CrowdStrike update should be a warning! that was an official and so-called safe update. That's not always going to be the case. Best scenario, you don't have use of your car for a few days. Worst! unimaginable!!!
Sales of battery-powered cars should be driven by the free market, not the heavy hand of government. Authoritarian-leaning government leaders have seized upon climate radicalism as a pretext for exercising political control and deficit spending. Battery vehicles may be an alternative, but not at scale for the present.

Resistance is futile, why buy something when it has lost all value in 2 years or less, who gives a shit what California strict emissions standars are, I for one will NEVER buy an EV.
The reason dealerships won't sell EV's is clear. They sometimes aren't educated in them or know the features or details about the cars. They also have a massive financial incentive to sell ICE cars and not EV's. ICE cars require way more maintenance and the dealership makes a lot of their revenue from maintenance and servicing. So now what we are seeing is that dealers can't compete against the direct to consumer model. They won't sell EV's so as more people are shifting dealerships are loosing business and now closing in mass.
