"Friend" is one of the most beautiful words and concepts in all of human existence. It has gotten a negative shading by people who erroneously see it as an inferior consolation-prize to another goal/intent. I'm reminded of a line in "Hitch" (Will Smith movie) where he tells another man that he, Hitch (Will's character) helps men who "actually LIKE" the women they want to attract.

for me crying is strength not weakness. lots of ppl make it out as weakness and for me that shit is weak. lols i feel similarly i dont give a fuck about sports.

The fact that I never cared for strip clubs is because I always felt bad for the girls being treated like meat make me a demisexual..I know I am an hsp so maybe .and so many times when I was single I walked away from a sure thing not knowing why ...

I remember reading somewhere that there was actually a theory for why INFPs & INTPs are the two types most prone to true depression, and it had to do with this very same Si loop, but they also mentioned that Ne is the worst extroverted function to use to get out of a loop with because it goes all over the place, deals in the abstract, and it can go into Si mode very quickly (when the Ne mind is thinking all over the place, it often will draw a connection to past events almost instantly). Thus, instead of providing relief from a Fi-Si loop, Ne can in many ways fuel the loop even further, as you spiral deeper & deeper into rumination about not just the past but also negative possibilities.

I was diagnosed at 31 with borderline personality disorder, to be honest please justify your statement about bpd. As i also have bipolar 1 and find that i work so hard to be a good person and spouse. Because not all of borderline personality disorder are not like what you are stating.

Having an HSP for a father is the best gift ever! Don’t underestimate the power of this trait, but make sure you get a little bit more downtime to recoup from this crazy, busy noisy world. Having fewer partners before age 30 is a very good thing. Better suited for a successful, long-term relationship statistically speaking.

Im a HSP/INFP and struggled with addiction most of my life. I started smoking pot at 17 from boredom and adventure im not a drinker but i like pot meth lsd shrooms coke molly no pills no neddles im 49 now i think I probably won't make it past my 50s i dont have memory problems but ive drove high my whole life never been in a wreck ive drove home 60 miles on 5 grams of shrooms and made it home safe. I a working addict walked in to work high everyday for years and never got caught i wear a mask for every situation I am hard to read.

Alot of these priests and millionaire preachers are not Christians they are satanist posing as Christians but are narcissist psychopaths the elite are satanist and Pedophiles and have infiltrated all the institutions of the world and society. Satanist and Pedophiles narcissist psychopaths are running the world.

Unfortunately most of this is negative and most if not all of it applies to me 🤔

I am HSP and female. What I ALWAYS knew for myself was, that I am different & that I am (in comparison to others) 'feel the moment the situation) . To me it was always clear that men who cry in my presence are 'the REAL person' as all the others were too insecure to admit to it. However, I never discouraged/ridiculed/looked down on a man who cried & showed his feelings. To me HSP's are the most desirable men, the most attractive (altough I got scolded that I had a wharped perception of beauty) but I can see into the HSP soul and that makes that person sooooo very attractive to me.

I disagree with church fellowship being good. In my eyes it's just one more thing religion holds hostage as a mechanism of control :/ keep up the good fight!

@8:28- "Even at my best I am not worthy" - a sign in front of a local church. What kind of congregation is likely to respond to such a message? A trauma bonded one. Religion is the opium of the traumatized masses.

I've had go toughen up in many respects, especially when you only have yourself you need to be disciplined and stoic. Mostly people let me do what I do because they see it works out. I do get zoned a lot but I tend to keep others at arm's length too. I don't want to be in a chaotic situation.

Like to take my steps one at a time? Yeah that's me. A couple weeks ago a very beautiful woman at my work place asked me if I'd like to have sex with her right away at work. Any normal man in my position would have jumped at the opportunity. My highly sensitive self couldn't have been more shocked. My brain was instantly flooded with all kinds of neurochemicals and about all I could say was, "how about a kiss?" She was more than a little unsatisfied with my response. That's why more often than not, I HATE my high sensitivity.

Apparently, drinking a drink every night/ most nights, or a 2-3 drinks a couple times per week, actually raises our cortisol levels in the “off-hours.” That’s some insight I got from Andrew Huberman’s podcast 🙌 This is not medical advice, of course- just some friendly knowledge that surprised me.

Women don't even exist for me anymore - there is _no point_ even talking to them outside of business. Not existing has always been attractive to me. It actually wouldn't matter to anyone else if I didn't exist - I have no family or friends (by choice)...perhaps that's my IMPETUS to completely TRANSFORM my LIFE into something COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!

Concerning women, I think a lot of them aren't looking for an overthinking empathetic guy. From a biological standpoint, they seek safety, and a guy trying to empathize or overthink a truly dangerous person/situation is a liability. Talking too much or showing too much interest early on probably isn't helpful, unfortunately, lol

I'm glad I found this video, I think this is the first time I see another HSP Male who's this similar to me. Thank you for this video. I would say programming is an amazing activity for HSP, I've noticed I love it because I can do it alone and at my own pace; its stimuli is subtle: I slowly work towards a goal (and feeling nice about the sense of progress); I don't have to talk to anyone to do it, so I can even listen to my favorite music while at it; it's so engaging it keeps my brain from ruminating, and honestly much more things. Programming is the "painting a landscape" or "sculpting a masterpiece" for us HSP nerds. Regarding dating I've found that seeing shit tests as opportunities for fun is a great way to pass them. I'm from a country where we shit test people, a lot, all the time, and when I was a kid this was really difficult for me because I would take them seriously. But when I grew up I realized that, in Venezuela, it's our way to connect and have fun with one another, so I noticed that people here would Agree and Amplify instinctively and with an attitude of "having fun," and after internalizing that mindset I've become inmune to them. They are not even "tests" but opportunities for fun. When you said "where did you get that watch, Walmart?" I laughed so hard and thought "actually, Walgreens." I really appreciate this video, there are some things I found really helpful and they make me hopeful to find a way to live a very rich life with this trait. Also, I would say some HSP "ladykillers" would be Don Juan, Pablo Neruda, poets and any person who gives the impression that they can feel deeply about you but that have some mischievousness in them. You have probably already read this book but The Art of Seduction is a really good book about the different archetypes of "heartbreakers" in history, and the book invites you to find and adapt the archetype that fits your personality the best. I think this is very important for us since sexuality is instrumental for our satisfaction and self-perception, besides one of the key components of having a rich life, at least in my opinion.
