    I'm Australian and it is nice to be living on an Island. We managed to shut down the country pretty quickly and have only had a total of 70 deaths in the entire country. It will still be devastating for our economy since we are in shut down. Things are getting better at the supermarket now but it has been a bit crazy.

    🢁 This is Jessica.... Edibles for everyone! I, like your other emailer, also use cannabis for anxiety/depression and I am so grateful to have it during this crisis. It's really been a helpful tool. You're right about the narcs too (Jennifer)! I've been getting contacted by people I haven't spoken to in ages. They funny thing is that since I'm not so good at spotting these narcs, I'm SO suspicious of anyone contacting me out of the blue now. I mean, they're not ALL narcs. Auntie Debbie just wanted to say hi and I'm all "What do you want from me!?" 😂 Great podcast!

      Hi Jessica! LOL @ Edibles for everyone.. hahaha... I'll take one please! :-) I showed Jennifer you commented and she appreciated that you could relate. omg.. yessss ... the narcs are in full hoover mode. I hope Authie Debbie is good.... ;-) she probably wanted one of your yummy edibles.. What strains to you like? I'm a huge fan of Sour Diesel.. always lifts my mood and gets my vibe right.. Hop all is good.. take care.. :-)

      @@TheHSPExperience My favorite strain is one called Purple Chitral. Also I've never gone wrong with any of the Kush strains. It just turns off, or at least puts on pause, some of the tabs in my head. If that makes any sense.

    The nice thing about having a thought, is that a hundred or thousand people have the same thought! My thought was how do hsp infps and empathy deal with being locked down with Loud Familyyyyyyy! Thank you!

    Thank you so much for getting back to me!! Also, I was wondering,,, Is Anyone here SENSITIVE TO SOUND. Like TV or Snorring in your personal space. Out in the world I am fine. Fine but not in an office necessarily. I am talking about Sounds that are very loud but to you Sound Loud as Fuck in your personal sanctuary........ ?? Bless all you intuitives!! Xx

      I was dating a guy and his roommates where two couch obsessed stoners who listened to the TV with the volume all the way up. I felt myself slowly going insane. I felt sometimes like the constant noise was boxing me in and I would start to feel really panicky and hot and have to go outside.
      The worst part was that it was turned on first thing... Before brushing your teeth, having coffee, saying good morning... And they fell asleep to it on...
      Aside from that expierence I don't usually find myself around TVs much. Most of my friends know that I am no good when it comes to TV time...
      When and if I do watch a show with a friend... Which is very rarely... my one rule is that we mute it during a commercial and if we are watching a movie I need at least one break if not two... Just to have a moment of silence.
      If peeps don't like that... Then I just don't watch anything with them... 😜

    • @ExquisitelyPink
      @ExquisitelyPink Před 4 lety

      Yup. Super sensitive to sound as well. I'm really picky about lighting because I can hear the buzzing from the lights and it makes me insane.

    • @TheHSPExperience
      @TheHSPExperience  Před 4 lety

      Yes.. I'm very sound sensitive and it can affect my mood.. Most HSPs have "misophonia", and what you are talking about is probably related. Read more here:

    Somehow I missed the video for the poll, but..
    INFP, then yes, except for 5, no.
    I don't think religiosity has anything to do with it. I've never really believed in one but didn't stop HSP/empathy being present since.. birth? Old soul, etc. Always been demisexual.
    I do agree seems genetic and makes sense evolutionary.
    I'll have to go back and watch last video. Take care.
    I have friends that don't get or half heart the social reaction.
    My parents joked that I was the best suited to deal with this whole pandemic for being introverted and social distancing being easy for me.

    • @TheHSPExperience
      @TheHSPExperience  Před 4 lety +2

      Thank for the comment Jeremy... It's always cool to meet another INFP/Demisexual guy! :-) Do you consider yourself an Empath? It occurred to me later that the ratios between Empath and demisexual in the survey were similar.. Take a look:
      Do you consider yourself an Empath?
      YES: 85%
      NO: 14%
      Do you consider yourself a Demisexual?
      YES: 80%
      NO: 19%
      So maybe we can infer that ALL Empaths are demisexual, but most non-Emapth HPSs are NOT demisexual? I dunno.. interesting tho! :-)

      @@TheHSPExperience yeah, I do. I could see your hypotheses being true.
      I will say that I didn't grow up in religion, but around people that were but also the height of the hypocrisy. But even before then, I think I had already rejected it at a pretty young age.
      I've always had too many questions and am a seeker and just isn't enough there in reveal religions as you said.
      But then again, I have a lifelong problem with irrational authority so there's that.

    Do any other HSPs feel super tired after lifting weights? I did some yesterday and wasn't even a big work out. I'm 30 and I think as an HSP, I gotta do something more calming for my nervous system, just walks in nature & cycling. But it annoys me because part of me has a vain desire to look muscly but I don't think it's worth it anymore as my energy levels become depleted even with a light work out

    • @TheHSPExperience
      @TheHSPExperience  Před 4 lety

      I can get tired if I overdo it with the weights.. but the real anxiety reliever fore me is cardio: running or cycling... Have you tried yoga/stretching? that is pretty good too..

    • @dancompton1728

      This totally happens to me as well. Weights stress me out! Cold, heavy, loud, dangerous...it flips out my nervous system. Before I had a shoulder injury the beginning of this year, I would just do pushups and resistance exercises for those type of workouts.
