UPDATE: Life of a Sonography Student- Spring 2018
My daughter says she wants to do this. However, It looks like the university she got into doesnt have a program. I see the local community college has an accredited program. One is 120k, the other is 6500. Seems like a no brainer to do the community college route and be done and making money in 3 years?
What and where can I learn the math and physics to get into cardiac sonography as a second career in middle age?
This is so helpful 👏🏻.. please more techniques videos like this for beginners like me 🥲🙏🏻🫶🏻Thanks
I have to get one for no reason doctors orderd for it and I’m traumatized
If you go to for DMS and it’s teaching you about all the general stuff, can you still get into the RDCS track?
Is your car interior pink?!
I really enjoyed your video and you gave great information.
Go girl I’m signing up for July classes ❤wish me luck

Thank you! Helpful

People who bitch and whine about the pressure then go get an MRI or CT

Hello mam From India 🇮🇳, I will be completing my Master's degree in Medical Imaging Technology and i want to be a sonographer, how can I earn the skills like if there is any option in abroad to work and learn at the same time
Good luck👍
👍👍👍
Learning all of these right now… the school I’m looking at tuition is 61K for two years and in my location cardio vascular and registered diagnostic makes about $41-$100 range and median is $56-$68
👍👍👍
What will school cost? What area is most in demand?
Your videos are so good really the most helpful and informative I found on YT thank you so much ❤
Thank you for your video. One of the things that caught my attention is that you stated school needs to be accredited but I spoke with ARDMS and there’s multiple ways to sit for your SPI. If the school is not accredited some offer to take the ARRT exam first to sit for your SPI. Do you have more insight on that?
Quick question: How long will it take to learn a vascular/cardiac sonography "degree", if thats what it's called
I'm thinking of getting into Sonography. I have a BS in Biology and haven't moved on since graduating in 2021. I'm stuck. I have a question, once you become a sonographer how far up the ladder can you get? is there a salary cap? If I live in Georgia and take the program here and pass, can I move to another State and work? is there only a State license or a National license?
I’m going to Howard County Community College this fall! My major is Diagnostic Medical Sonography and I’m very excited.
Love that you got a tattoo 😂
I love your content! For years you’ve been consistent & inspiring within the DMS field! You go girl! Much appreciated 🫶

Thank you so much for this video I’m thinking about going back to school and this is one of the programs that has caught my attention the most I would like to work with kids but im not sure yet!!
Hi! I want to be a sonographer and the college I'm going to doesn't have ultrasound programs but am I able to get a associates degree in applied science then transfers to colleges with programs? will the first degree help me or just be pointless?
Thanks. Super helpful!

9:30 love your videos, they all so helpful. Thank you very much! From Marylander!
Thank you so much for this girl ❤️I’m looking into going to school for this and this way by far the most helpful and well explained video I’ve seen
I am so sad. I have a B.A. in English & after years of having unrelated jobs & working as a Receptionist in doctor offices I grew interested in Sonography. I went to Montgomery College and had to take Medical Terminology I & II and Biology. I made A’s in the Medical Terminology but couldn’t seem to pass the Biology and then Coronavirus hit in 2020 and I had to drop out. I wanted this so bad for me. I’m happy for you, it seems like we were there at the same time. The funny thing is I get job offers all the time for Sonography but I never completed the program; actually it’s kind of sad but Congratulations!
Maybe you can try again!
What about ABHES accredited dms program?
Great perspective!
Thank you for your hard work. 💐
I am considering this field. I was trying for PA and then PT but the waiting is killing me. I work in the ER and sort of burnt out after 18yrs. At 55 years old I'm looking for a field where I can pretty much not burn myself out. I have a BS degree but my GPA is too low and that's the reason why PA and PT school aren't giving me a chance.
❤ thanks for explaining the pros and cons of the job
If I withdraw from physics rn will I hurt my chances of getting into a program with a W ON MY TRANSCRIPT
